Oh No.. First Day, Detention?!

As I enter my class Mr. Boom is right in front of his desk glaring at me like I was about to get my punishment for being late. As I walked to my desk he started to talk something and I know it’s about me being late again.

“Class this is the first day of school year and don’t think your professors will go easy on you since it’s our first me-“

Then two guys who look like new students came in. Almost the whole class was shocked since they have the guts to come in late in Mr. Boom’s class. The two didn’t know what’s happening and then the one with a blonde hair greeted Mr. Boom.

“Annyeong Haseyo! I’m Hwang Leeteuk! Nice too meet you all!”

Then the other guy with brown curly hair did the same thing.

“Annyeong Haseyo! I’m his brother Hwang Kyuhyun! Nice too meet you as well!”

Then Mr. Boom called the two of them and asks why they were late. The Hwang siblings explained that they got lost to find this classroom but Mr. Boom didn’t accept their explanation. The fact that they’re new Mr. Boom didn’t seem to mind it.

He directed the Hwang siblings where they should sit and guess what? They were seated next to me.

Then Mr. Boom looked at me again.

“Oh I almost forgot you Mr. Choi Siwon” he said

“Oh me? Sir what about me?” I answered like I did nothing wrong

“Yes, you Siwon will be in detention this afternoon and both of you as well” he directed to the Hwang siblings

But the Hwang siblings protested to Mr. Boom.

“Sir, but aren’t you giving us a second chance since its first day?” the guy with a blonde hair said

“Yeah, sir please be considerate enough since it’s the first day of the school year.” The curly brown hair guy said

But it seems the situation made it worse. Mr. Boom get annoyed and said,

“You seem to have a lot in common with Mr. Choi Siwon huh. Okay the three of you 2 days in detention! If you complain more you’ll be in detention for the whole week! UNDERSTAND.”

Oh great now I have to go to detention for two days with these two guys. I guess I would not be out of trouble at all.

As I walked out of the door the Hwang siblings approached me.

“Hey seatmate/ detention mate, I’m Leeteuk, uh sorry we got you in trouble because of our protest earlier.” He said

“Yeah sorry about that bro, uh what’s your name again?” the other one with a curly brown hair ask

“It’s okay I’m used to it but not as early as this one haha. I’m Choi Siwon and you are--” I said while he cut me off

“I’m Kyuhyun and this is my elder brother Leeteuk” Kyuhyun said

“Oh Sorry to ask but why are you in the same year when you’re older than Kyuhyun?” I asked in such curiosity

“Oh that it’s because I had an operation in my heart when I was 11 years old. I had to stop for a year that’s why I’m in the same level with this brat.”

Leeteuk said it glaring at Kyuhyun like he going to beat him soon

“Who’s the brat!? HUH!”

Kyuhyun shouted at him like I wasn’t there at all.

“Okay guys stop fighting maybe you don’t want to get a 1week detention so knock it off guys.” I said to them

Then the two of them stop. I invited them to join me for lunch so that we could hang out and introduce them to my friends.

Then as we walk through the hallway where I met the girl earlier I just remembered that I need to know her name. Her face really marks in my mind. I kept glancing at their door hoping that I would see her but I can’t go near since their professor is Mr. Boom and I don’t want him to notice me glancing at his classroom and wonder what I am doing there. I plan to just pass by their room so I could see where she’s sitting. But it seems like I was out of luck because Mr. Boom suddenly glared at me so I immediately passed by and I didn’t see where she is in the room.

At 1G Classroom

Tiffany POV

My first class was over.

There is an awkward silence inside our classroom. Maybe because most of us didn’t know each other but my seatmate on the left was kind of different from the rest because she greets every person around her.

She turns around and talks to me.

“Annyeong! I’m Choi Sooyoung nice to meet you! You can call me Sooyoung, what’s your name?”

She asked in an enthusiastic manner.

“Annyeong, I’m Stephanie Hwang Nice to meet you Sooyoung. You can call me Tiffany or Fany.” I said

Some other girls went to us then Sooyoung introduced them to me.

“Oh Fany I want you to meet, Jessica and my sister maknae Seohyun”

“Annyeong Haseyo Fany!” they said in unison

“Annyeong Haseyo.” I answered

“You came from America right?” Seohyun asked me

“Neh” I answered

“Really? Where?” Jessica suddenly asked

“I came from L.A. but I was born in San Francisco so we got to live there also” I answered

“Oh! I was born there too, in San Francisco General Hospital.” Jessica added

“What a coincidence! I was born there too. Wow we have something in common that’s really awesome!” I said in an enthusiastic tone

“If want to learn more about Korea just ask us we’ll help you” Seohyun said

“Oh thank you so much that would be great!” I said

We really had a nice conversation about different stuff. We also got to talk about some of the guys in the University since there were a lot of handsome guys here especially in senior year. Speaking of a guy I remember the incident earlier in the morning the guy who helped me in finding my class. He really looks handsome that every girl would fall for but sometimes boys who are handsome are not always good in terms of attitude like the Taecyeon oppa.

Taecyeon oppa is one of Kyuhyun’s classmate back then in L.A.. I used to like him before because he looks nice and handsome. But when I got a chance to know him, he was totally different. He always fools around, bullying other kids, and he is totally an immature guy. From then on I didn’t like him anymore.

The bell rang.

All of us went to our own desk and the professor entered the room. He was a tall guy maybe in his 30’s wearing an eyeglasses then he stares to all students in the class. I was nervous that he might call someone, hopefully not me.

He started calling names for attendance.

“Okay let me see.. Oh There is two surnames of Choi here, Ms. Choi Sooyoung and Ms. Choi Seohyun?” he said in an interested tone

“Yes, Sir” Sooyoung and Seohyun answered in unison

“Are you somehow related to Mr. Choi Siwon?” He asked the Sooyoung

“Neh, He is our older brother” Sooyoung answered

“Oh I see. I hope both of you are not like your brother. He seems a bit lazy when coming to my class for being ALWAYS late.” He said emphasizing the word ‘always’

“No sir, my sister and I are diligent in coming to school early.” Seohyun answered in a polite manner

“Well then, are you fraternal twins or something? Since you are a bit younger to your sister” He asked Seohyun

“No sir, I was accelerated for one year that’s why we are in the same year of Sooyoung unnie.” Seohyun said

“Oh I see, well then you must be really SMART.” He said in a fascinated tone emphasizing the word smart

“Neh, she’s really smart especially in Math.” Sooyoung added

“Oh okay let’s see if we can add you in the Math club this semester. I think they really need someone like you” He said

After he talked to the Choi sisters, He continues to call names but the moment that my name was called he stopped.

“Ms. Hwang Stephanie?” he said with such curiosity

“Yes sir?” I answered and raised my hand

“Oh may I ask if you are related to Mr. Hwang Leeteuk and Kyuhyun?” he asked me

“Yes Sir. I’m their younger sister.”I answered

“Oh well then it seems like your brothers are bit different from you in terms of ATTITUDE.”

He emphasize a word again like my brother did something wrong when they were in his class.

“I know sometimes my oppas are really childish but they are really good in terms of studies.” I said

“Oh really, we’ll see then” he answered

After all of the students were called. He wrote his name on the board but suddenly stops and stares at someone outside the window. When I look through the window I saw the guy who helped me earlier. I noticed that he was looking for someone in our class but when our professor saw what he was doing. He suddenly walks fast passing by our room.

I suddenly got a feeling that he might looking for me since we didn’t get a chance to know each other’s name.

“No he can’t be looking for me. Silly me~” I whispered to myself

“Huh? Are you talking to me?” Sooyoung asked me

“Oh no no, I just thought of something” I answered

“Ms. Choi and Ms. Hwang you might as well want to share on what are you talking about?” the professor asked us

“Uhm sir I just thought she was saying something to me but I guess my hearing was kind a weird because she was not talking at all”

Sooyoung said it trying to save both of us from the professor

“Is that true Ms. Hwang?” he asked me

“Yes sir, everything that Sooyoung said was true I was just sitting and she thought that I was murmuring something” I answered with confidence trying to look like we did nothing

“Okay then next time Ms. Choi listen very well especially to my LESSONS.”

He emphasize the word again

I guess our professor loves to emphasize words. Then he started talking about the subject matter and he introduces his self very well.

“My name is Park Kim Boom, just call me Mr. Boom for short. Today till the very end of this semester I will be your History Professor.”

Our History class took one and a half hours and all of the students are really bored as in REALLY bored. I don’t know if it is because of the professor or the subject itself.

The bell rang.
