Chapter 7:

It took Jinyoung a few seconds to register what was going on. Mark was kissing him. Mark was KISSING him. After he got over the initial shock he returned the kiss. The kiss grew deeper as Jinyoung’s hands made their way to Mark’s hair. He tugged at it slightly as Mark s his arms around Jinyoung’s waist and pulled him closer towards him. Jinyoung suddenly pulled away from him realising where they were, in the café, in public. Mark appeared to be taken aback by Jinyoung’s sudden reaction.

“Did I do something wrong?” Mark questioned as rubbed his forehead rigorously. Mark didn’t know why he had initially kissed him the first place. He knew he didn’t want to be with him in that way… or did he? One thing he did know was that he enjoyed that kiss a little more than he’d admit.

“No! It’s not that, it’s just that we’re in the café and I need to close up.” Jinyoung said as he tried to not jumble his words together since his mind was going crazy after that kiss.

When he had finished locking up, the two boys made their way to his car in silence. Neither of them knew how to start the conversation to the other as they got inside the car. The whole journey consisted of Jinyoung sneaking glances at Mark whilst being mindful of the road and Mark doing the same whilst smiling shyly. When they exited the car, they made their way to the elevator in complete silence. ‘What do I say to him?’ they both thought simultaneously as they continued to sneak more glances at each other.

“Well……… that was erm… interesting,” Jinyoung started as he was unsure on how to continue.

“Yeah… interesting,” Mark replied with a slight smile on his face as he glanced over at Jinyoung. When their eyes met, they frantically looked away and silently giggled like a couple of 13 year olds. Neith
