So even though I've been EXTREMELY busy, I couldn't just leave you guys hanging like that so I have somehow done this next chapter quite quickly if I must say so myself! Chapter 11:

Mark felt the familiar breeze as he walked out of the airport. It was almost 6 months since he left LA and boy did it feel strange being back. He flagged down a cab to make his way to the hotel he had already reserved.

He decided to go to the beach he used to play in as a kid. As he was sat on the sand he began to think ‘Jinyoung would like this.’ Then he suddenly remembered. Jinyoung. He hadn’t seen him that whole week after the big revelation and somehow forgot to tell him that he was leaving for LA. He reached for his phone out and looked for his name. Jinnie. His heart skipped a beat as he waited for him to pick up.

“Hello?” Jinyoung asked confused. Jinyoung had been under the assumption that he had somehow offended Mark since his phone calls were being ignored. Also, it felt like Mark was avoiding him the whole week. He missed him and couldn’t help but feel low. That was until he saw his name flash on the cell phone next to him whilst he was eating. He rubbed his eyes in disbelief, ‘maybe he wasn’t offended after all’ he silently thought as he answered the phone.

“Jinnie! I’m so sorry for not calling you back, I’ve got so much to tell you!” Mark replied excitedly. He was so happy hearing his voice again after the week he had.

“I thought you were going to break up with me you jerk, why haven’t you called?” Jinyoung exclaimed attempting to mask the relief in his voice.

“You dork why on Earth would I do that?” He replied chuckling to himself at Jinyoung’s dramatic claim, “I’m in LA Jinnie and before you say anything, I can explain! But I want to explain in person, not now” He continued quickly before Jinyoung had a chance to reply. Jinyoung was completely confused at this point. Why would Mark run off to LA and not even inform him about it. He assumed they were close enough to tell each other these things.

“Are you alright, Mark?” He asked slightly worried.

“I’m okay, Jinnie but please trust me on this!” He replied back attempting to assure him. Jinyoung couldn’t do anything but trust Mark on this one. He wondered what it was that he couldn’t possibly say over the phone.

“Erm…. okay Mark but come back soon….” He began to say, “I miss you.” He whispered sheepishly. Mark began to have butterflies in his stomach when he heard him say that.

“I miss you too….. I need to go but I’ll text you okay,” he stated. Mark didn’t like keeping things from Jinyoung but he couldn’t possibly reveal something like this over the phone. No, he had to say it in person and apologise. They exchanged their good byes and hung up.

Jinyoung didn’t know what to make of the conversation he just had with Mark. His mind was thinking of a million and one things at the same time as he was eating his lunch as he was still at school when Mark called. He began to feel lonely again since Mark wasn’t by his side that whole week. Jaebum continued to play mind games with him which irritated
