It's Daehyun's birthday so I decided I'd make a little birthday special for this story's main character

Daehyun POV

I woke up the second my alarm started ringing and jumped out of bed. I got my done, dressed, and left my small apartment and went over to a small cafe in the less social side of Seoul. I ordered a slice of cheesecake, a cup of black coffee, and sat down at a somewhat large table. Then I started getting text messages.

From: OCD Terry

Hey man! Happy birthday! Sorry Jin and I can't make it today; we have schedule. And we're packed for the entire day!  But just wanted to wish you a happy birthday before the day starts going crazy. Anyway, happy birthday Dae! Yoojin will probably text you as well later.

From: Cold hyung L

Yo, remember me? We haven't talked in awhile haven't we? First of all, congrats on getting accepted to TS! Second, happy birthday!

From: Sungjong

Hey same year friend! Happy birthday! I can't believe you got into TS- congratulations! Well gtg busy schedule today- bye!

From: Yoora

Wassup my man? Has Sunggyu texted you yet? I told him to wish you a happy birthday- Anyway happy birthday~! Because I JUST had my solo debut I can't make time to meet you today. SORRY OTL. But I'll make it up to you! OH and if Sunggyu hasn't texted you yet he's in big trouble! Also, I'll try to get you cheesecake the next time we meet! Bye!

I couldn't help but slightly chuckle at Yoora's message. Right then I got another text.

From: Tiny Eyes Gyu hyung

Oh um... hi! Yoora kinda forced me to text you... but I totally would've texted you either way! Sort of not really... ehem. Well, happy birthday, you're now a year older. I have nothing more to say cus we haven't talked since like forever... well, let's catch up sometime, yeah? I'll make sure to bring a lot of food if- I mean WHEN we meet up. Well, have fun today! And eat lots of cake!

From: Yoo Brainjae

Yo man, we're almost there! We'll be there in like, right now.

Just as I finished reading the text, in came B.A.P all wearing masks and hats to cover their faces. They came straight to my table and took off their masks. I put aside my now empty plate and fork and smiled up at my friends.

"Hey Dae, happy birthday!" They all said. I couldn't help but smile.

"Hi, thanks guys! I'm glad you could all come today!"

"Of course we'd come! Even if we had schedule we'd do anything to make time for our food vacuum Daehyun!" Himchan hyung exclaimed. At that, we all laughed.

"Well, let's go somewhere, eat some food, and give Daehyun hyung the best day of his life!" Zelo semi-screamed out and jumped up out of his chair.

"Yeah let's go!" And we all got up to leave.

-11:40 pm-

"Alright, we have to go now. We've got to practice tomorrow. Well, bye! Hope you had the best birthday of your life" Yongguk hyung said as B.A.P got into their van to go back to their dorm. I smiled and nodded in the understanding.

"Ok. I had fun today guys! Thanks so much for giving me a memorable birthday!" I waved goodbye as the van drove away. I turned around and sighed. All day I waited, yet I haven't gotten a single text from Yoojin. I entered my apartment building and walked up the stairs. I didn't feel like taking the elevator.

I reached my apartment, and checked my phone. Still no new messaged. 11:56 pm. My birthday is over in 4 minutes.

I stood there in front of my door for a minute. I finally in an amount of breath and accepted the fact that Yoojin just doesn't care about me. I entered in the passcode and slowly opened the door to find...

to find Yoojin holding a cheesecake with one burning candle in it. She saw me and smiled.

"Happy birthday Dae."
