Chapter 5
Kimchi, soap and new roommates
Kyungsoo was at last done with school. Just one more day, he said climbing up the horrible stairs to his home, one more day. But hey, atleast the exam went smoothly and tomorrow there is a few classes to attend. He went to unlock the door but noticed it was slightly ajar. His eyes widened "What?!" Oh God, he's been robbed. Noooo, why must it be his place, why not that nasty Mrs. Dong's? Bish.
He quickly ran inside to see if anything was stolen but the only thing he saw was a mountain of cardboxes. And then some more on the side.
"Hyung? Is that you?" The black haired male heard soft tapping of footsteps on the floor approaching.
"Oh, you're back. Don't worry about the boxes, they're empty, I was just about to head to the garage to drop them off, my ex roommate got summoned by the witch again." Kyungsoo cursed inside of his head because he almost forgot that there was a new tenant in the apartment.
"Oh.... Yeah, I'll help you so we can have dinner as soon as possible." The older said with a small smile and headed to his room to get changed into some sweatpants, he tried not to wear them to school since it was deemed inappropriate, but they were so comfy, sometimes he couldn't help but to give in to his urges.
After they got rid of the trash collecting in the hallway of the apartment, Kyungsoo started roasting a few pieces of chicken, not frying ( after all, Jongin had a diet to uphold, and he was going to look after that) and took out some of his homemade baechu kimchi he was very proud of (his baby). Just as he flipped the chicken, making it sizzle, he heard a groan coming from the living room. "Jongin? Is everything okay?" He said, lightly worried.
"Hyuuuuung, seriously, why do you cook so well? It can't possibly be legal!" The younger pouted and slouched on the couch. The singer let out a small chuckle and returned to the cooking area to finish up. In a few minutes, the chicken turned to a nice brown caramel colour, the kimchi was sliced and served, dinner was ready. Jongin looked like he was about to faint from the smell attacking his nostrils. Mmmm yes.
"Here you go, dig in." Kyungsoo said with a smile and started to pick on his own plate. "Hjodg, hu ju meik da poof cu tug?" Jongin asked with a full mouth, some of its contents falling out, making Kyungsoo cringe. "Chew... Swallow...Talk."
"Sorry, hyung, how do you make the food taste sooooo good?" He asked, stuffing his mouth again with the chicken. Jongin loves his chicken.
"It's the kimchi. My mom and I make it every year so I bring some of it here, they can't really eat everything by themselves, not after my brother and I moved out" The black haired male stated and continued eating his meal slowly, the younger nodded, noting that the older had a brother and cleaned his plate at the speed of lightning.
" 'Kay hyung, I'll go wash the dishes and head to bed, I have to get up early." The older nodded and went to the shower. " Good night Jongin."
"Good night, hyung!"
"Touch my body
urin jogeumssik ppareuge
Oh everybody
pureun haneul boda nopi
Jigeum i rideumi joha tteugeoun taeyangarae neowana
My body body touch ma body..."
Kyungsoo grunted at the sound coming to his ears. Why must it be Friday, why not Saturdaaay... Wait a minute. That's not his alarm. Last time he checked, the new song was 2ne1's Gotta be you. That certainly wasn't 2ne1, that was definitely Hyorin's raspy high pitched voice. He raised his blanket to look at the time, it was 7 sharp. What the ? Oh wait...
"Hell, I have a roommate. Damn you, God of lazy roommates" He grunted falling back to his fluffy warm pillow. "Jongin!" The singer yelled underneath the blanket. The latter didn't answer. "God damnit. Jongin! He yelled louder.
"Nabakke eopdago jigeum naege malhaejwo
Bukkeureopge jakku boji malgo gyesok nal anajwo
Nal saranghanda malhaejwo..."
"JONGIIIIIN!" The younger boy still didn't answer. Kyungsoo reluctantly left his comfy black blanket. "I'll be right back, just need to kill someone." He said to his bed, rubbing his eyes.
He went to the room causing so much noise on this fine absolutely sunny morning and knocked. Nothing. He knocked again and remembered that the younger probably couldn't hear him over the song. Without even saying anything, he stormed inside an
