Day 51

Dongwoon is at work:

I couldn't sleep last night. Again,  everything changed suddenly...He was the one who brought my hapiness back after I have lost someone important...but now It's time to stay strong and move on...I was able to do it once so I should be able to handle it twice, right? 

Gikwang and I are having our break. We are sitting in the lunch room. Nobody is saying a word....

Dongwoon-ah....everythings fine? You are so quiet today...

Well, in fact....not really...but it's alright...

No, nothings alright. You are obviously down. How can I, as a friend, just sit here doing nothing.....Please tell me everything. Trust me I won't tell anybody. I don't want you to rush but I need to know it, otherwise I won't be able to cheer you up....

Okay I will tell you a few things...

I can't tell him everything...but I can tell him a few things...I tell him that I lost my girlfriend and that my parents throwed me out. And I tell him, that I met Doojoon at her apartment.

Oh....Dongwoon...I'm sorry for that....If you need anything I will be there for you....Ah, I have an idea....how about we go out to a bar to drink a bit? That will take your mind off things. 

Well....I'm not really a clubber....and I don't drink much alcohol, either....

Ah, don't worry. I just want to drink a few drinks with you and have fun. We never ever did anything together beside work.

Gikwang leads me to the bar. There's a lot going on, but that should be normal, since it's already 8pm.

Ah there are two seats.

Gikwang is poining at two seats in front of the bar. Now we are sitting at the bar.

Hello, what do you want to drink?

For me, a gin tonic, and you?

Well...don't know...the same as you....

Actually, I shouldn't drink in this condition....but I don't want to hurt his feelings...

The bartender is serving us our drinks.

Okay, Dongwoon...we should touch glasses for a good future.

We are already drinking for hours. Suddenly,  there are two women who are getting near to us.

Hello, you two are very handsome. Do you want to dance with us?

mmmh...actually we didn't came here to dance in the first place...but I really like dancing...so should we do them the favor?

Well....you can dance if you want, but I'm not really in the mood of dancing....

Oh, too bad. You are the one we find the most y. However, then let's dance....

One of the girls is putting on a pouting face. The other girl is grabbing Gikwangs arm. 

Okay, wonnie. I'll be back soon, don't do anything bad.

....That's the prhase I should rather say to you....but don't mind. I'm fine....

I watch them leaving...Gikwang is really a womanizer...but as much as I know him, he isn't the type of men who would use someone...

I'm looking at my watch. It's 11pm. I'm putting the money onto the bar. I'm looking for Gikwang, but there are just too many people around...I'm trying to get through the crowds...I finnaly found the exit.

I'm outside. The air is really fresh...I take a deep breath. Ah...I should write Gikwang.

Gikwang, thank you for this evening. I already left. Have fun. We see each other at work.

Goodnight.

I'm looking around...since the street isn't really good lighted, I can't see anything clear. Gikwang brought me here and I can't remember the way. Well I should go to the bright crossroad to read the name of the street on a sign. I'm getting dizzy...I try to walk straight forward, but I can't control my body. I must have drinked to much, again...but now there isn't someone who could help me. Suddenly I bumped into a few strangers by accident. 

HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?

One of them is grabbing me at my collar.

I-I-m re-eally s-sorry...I drank t-to much....

Then someone suddenly hit me on my face, so that I'm falling onto the ground.

Idiot! When you do that again...you're dead....

They are walking away. I touch my left cheek. It hurts a lot....I try to stand up. Now I'm even feeling weaker then I felt before...

Suddenly my phone rings. It's Doojoon! 

Annyeong?

Annyeong. How are you wonnie? Long time no hear....

I-Im...sorry....I w-as busy.... ...that's a lie...
