“What the hell does he mean he thinks he likes Kyuhyun?” Heechul demanded the next morning when Yesung told the others what Sungmin had said the night before.

          “Well there’s obviously something about Sungmin that Kyuhyun finds attractive, and in return Sungmin finds Kyuhyun attractive,” Donghae said.

          “What kind of Stockholm Syndrome bull is this?” Heechul asked. “Are you sure you didn’t just mishear what he said?”

          “No this was the clearest thing he’s said in years,” Yesung replied.

          “You don’t think Sungmin told Kyuhyun he likes him do you?” Donghae wondered.

          “No, I saw how terrified he was yesterday; this has to be some kind of psychological manipulation or something. Sungmin doesn’t go for bad boys,” Yesung said.

          “Well let’s be sure to keep an extra careful eye on both Sungmin and Kyuhyun today,” Donghae suggested.

          “Yeah, if he comes anywhere near Sungmin, I’m gonna kill him,” Yesung promised.

          “We can’t kill him, but we can at least go to the office and request Sungmin get a class transfer,” Donghae suggested.

          “Let’s do that, the further away from Kyuhyun Sungmin is, the better,” Heechul agreed.

          “No,” Sungmin stated as he walked into the room.

          “Minnie, we’re trying to keep you safe,” Yesung informed.

          “I’m fine,” Sungmin responded.

          “Sungmin, this guy is not a good person. He will hurt you if he gets the chance,” Heechul said.

          “I won’t let him,” Sungmin replied.

          After a moment of silence, Donghae spoke up “Guys, maybe we should trust Sungmin on this. If things begin to get out of hand, we’ll step in, but until then, we should let Sungmin experiment.”

          “Donghae, I’m not sure about this,” Yesung muttered.

          “Sungmin, do you want to try and be friends with Kyuhyun?” Donghae asked his blonde brother.

          “No,” Sungmin said quietly.

          “Then what do you want?” Heechul added.

          “I want Kyuhyun to be my boyfriend,” Sungmin whispered.

          Heechul threw a glass against the wall. As it shattered, he grabbed Sungmin by the shoulders and shook him while yelling “Why the Hell would you want to be in a relationship with that bastard?! He’s going to take advantage of you!”

          Donghae pulled Heechul back as Yesung wrapped his arms around Sungmin. “Heechul calm down, you’re scaring Sungmin. Trust him, if he has a problem with Kyuhyun, he’ll tell us,” Donghae said quietly so he’d help Heechul relax.

          Heechul took a deep breath, and then slowly approached Sungmin as Yesung cautiously let go of the blonde. “I’m sorry Sungmin; I didn’t mean to snap at you. I just don’t want you hurt,” Heechul gently apologized. Sungmin hugged his brother before Leeteuk and Kangin came in.

          “Boys what’s going on in here?” Kangin questioned. “Why is there glass on the floor?”

          “Sorry, there was a bug on the wall, and we thought we could kill it by throwing something at it,” Yesung lied as he hurried over to clean up the glass from the cup that Heechul threw.

          “Well next time, could you please use the fly swatter?” Leeteuk requested.

          “Sure Leeteuk,” Donghae agreed.

          “C’mon boys, you’re gonna be late for school if we don’t leave right now,” Leeteuk realized as he looked at the time. He kissed Kangin goodbye before getting into one car and driving the boys to school, while Kangin got into the other vehicle to drive to work.

          The brothers were silent as they stepped out of car when they reached school. “Bye guys, I’ll be back later. Have a good day, I love you,” Leeteuk called before driving off, while Donghae, Heechul, Yesung, and Sungmin casually waved.

          “Hey, Donghae!” Eunhyuk called across the parking lot as he walked towards the four.

          “Hey Eunhyuk,” Donghae greeted as the blonde came closer. “Guys, this is Eunhyuk. He’s the guy who invited us to his house Friday night. Eunhyuk, these are my brothers; Yesung, Sungmin, and Heechul.”

          “Nice to meet all of you,” Eunhyuk replied with a grin. “Well, I’ll see ya in class Donghae; I gotta run and grab some water.”

          “Okay cool,” Donghae responded before the blonde headed inside.

          Once Eunhyuk was out of earshot range, Yesung asked “So is that the guy you like?”

          Donghae began to blush and smile as he said “Yeah, it is.”

          “He’s not bad looking,” Yesung agreed.

          “He has a really big nose,” Heechul noticed.

          “Heechul, that’s rude. Besides I think it looks cute, it brings out his jawline nicely,” Donghae defended.

          “Whatever dude,” Heechul said as the brothers walked into the school and down the hallways to their appropriate classes.

          “Hi Yesung,” Ryeowook shyly stated as he walked up to the dark haired Korean teen.

          “Oh hey Ryeowook,” Yesung replied as his friend sat down next to him.

          “Are you sure you still want me to come over Friday night?” Ryeowook wondered.

          “Yeah, why, did you think I changed my mind?” Yesung asked.

          “Well when people invite me places, it’s usually a joke, except with Eunhyuk, he’s really nice and serious, but I’m just really shy and nervous around people,” Ryeowook explained. “Plus, the other students think I’m a nerd, and no one ever wants to hang out with a nerd.”

          “I do,” Yesung stated with a smile as he looked directly at the brunette.

          Ryeowook blushed as he muttered “Thanks.”

          “If you want, you can ride home with me after school Friday,” Yesung offered.          

          “Your parents won’t mind?” Ryeowook asked.

          “No, Leeteuk won’t care,” Yesung assured.

          “You call your parents by their first names?” Ryeowook questioned, almost shocked.

          “Yeah, well they actually prefer it,” Yesung agreed.

          “Wow,” Ryeowook replied. “Sure, I’ll ride home with you after school.”

          “If you want, you can bring over some movies or videogames if you like,” Yesung proposed.

          “Okay,” Ryeowook said before they turned to listen to the teacher’s lecture.

          Meanwhile, in Sungmin’s class, the blonde impatiently waited for Kyuhyun to show up. But once the brunette did, Sungmin quietly gasped. Kyuhyun saw Sungmin and the same evil grin he had on yesterday was present again. Sungmin began to love his evil grin, the way his lips curved, the way his dark eyes stared at him almost in a seductive way; it made Sungmin’s heart pound fast. Kyuhyun approached Sungmin and gripped his desk. “Hey cutie, you gonna run away from me again?” Kyuhyun whispered.

          Sungmin gripped Kyuhyun’s wrists, which caught him off guard. The blonde began to breathe deeply as he stared into Kyuhyun’s confused eyes. “Come to house Friday night,” he muttered, getting inches from Kyuhyun’s face.

          “You want me to come over to your house Friday night?” Kyuhyun asked.

          “Yes,” Sungmin replied.

          The bully remained quiet, almost frozen in time at the request. After a minute, Kyuhyun smirked and stated “Absolutely.”

          Sungmin let go of his wrists slowly as Kyuhyun released Sungmin’s desk. Kyuhyun winked at him before walking over to his desk and sitting down. The blonde teenager took a deep breath and felt his cheeks; they were red hot.

          Heechul sat in his usual spot in the back of the classroom and pulled out his notebook to continue his writings. “Hi,” Hankyung said with a smile as he sat down next to Heechul.

          “Hello,” Heechul replied giving his new friend a small grin.

          “Are you and your brothers ready for Friday night?” Hankyung asked.

          “Only me and Donghae are going; Sungmin and Yesung are staying home,” Heechul informed.

          “Do they not like to party?” Hankyung wondered.

          “Well Sungmin doesn’t like being around a lot of people, it makes him nervous. Yesung’s going to stay at him with him and keep him company, at least that’s the story so far,” Heechul explained. “I honestly don’t like people either, but I do enjoy free food and good music.”

          “For someone who doesn’t like people, you can sure have a good conversation,” Hankyung complimented.

          Heechul smirked. “Thanks, you’re easy to talk to. You’re a really good listener.”

          “Thanks dude, you can talk to me any time and tell me anything. I won’t judge you for it either,” Hankyung replied.

          “You won’t? Even if it has to do with my past?” Heechul questioned.

          “No, I never judge anyone by their past, because I know I don’t wanna be judged by my past,” Hankyung slowly said.

          “What’s happened in your past?” Heechul quietly asked.

          “I’ll tell you another day, now is not the best place or time,” Hankyung responded after being quiet a moment.

          “Alright,” Heechul agreed.

          Hankyung took a scrap of paper from his notebook, wrote something on it, and handed it to Heechul. “Here’s my number. Text or call me any time you wanna talk about anything,” he offered.

          Heechul took the paper and put it in his pocket. “Thanks,” he replied.

          “Who are you and Donghae riding with to the party Friday night?” Hankyung questioned.

          “We haven’t talked about it yet,” Heechul said.

          “If you want, I can come and get you guys. My parents are letting me get the car Friday night, so I can pick up you and Donghae,” Hankyung offered.

          “Sure, thanks that’d be great,” Heechul agreed. The two smiled at one another, stopped talking as Hankyung paid attention to the lecture, and Heechul turned back to his notebook.

          “Leeteuk, can Ryeowook ride home with us after school on Friday?” Yesung asked as the brothers got into the car that afternoon after school let out.

          “Sure, I can’t wait to meet him,” Leeteuk said.

          “He can’t wait to meet you, but please don’t do anything embarrassing in front of him,” Yesung requested. “Like don’t say he’s cute or anything, just please talk to him normal. And don’t do that thing where you come into our room and ask what we’re doing.”

          “So you’ve really thought about this,” Leeteuk realized.

          “Yes, Ryeowook is adorable like Sungmin and he kinda looks like him too,” Yesung said.

          “Leeteuk,” Sungmin whispered.

          “Yes sweetie?” Leeteuk asked as he peered in the rearview mirror.

          “Can I have a friend come over too?” he inquired.

          “Sure honey, you can have anyone come over. What’s his name?” Leeteuk wondered.

          “Kyuhyun,” Sungmin stated.

          His brothers turned to him. “Kyuhyun’s coming over?” Heechul asked.

          “Yes,” Sungmin said.

          “As long as he doesn’t hurt him, everything will be okay,” Donghae muttered to Heechul.

          “Nobody will hurt him, I’ll be there and I’ll make sure of it,” Yesung quietly added as he wrapped a protective arm around Sungmin.
