“Welcome”, Himchan acted as a host.

We sat down on the black, leather couch in the huge living room. Just as I was about to sit down on in, thunder hit somewhere near and I jumped. My heart stopped as the sound of it was very loud, plus I was afraid of thunders. To add an icing on the cake, the power went out. To add a strawberry on that cake, my mom asked where I am.

“What should I tell her?” I asked

“Don’t tell that you’re at my house. Last time we were in trouble for it”, Minah said, pointing out the time when we lied to go out. I said I was at her place, she said she was at mine. Hell.

“Say that you’re at my place”, HImchan poked

“Last time they saw me with you, I got in trouble so no”, I rolled my eyes

“You two were together?” Yongguk asked, his gummy smile showing off once again

“Accidentally”

“Why did you get in trouble because of me?” Himchan went further

“They saw me kissing you”

“And you two kissed?” Minah screamed out

“In the cheek”, I rolled my eyes again

“She was being nice”, Himchan smirked, feeling victorious in this fight yet again

“No matter how nice I look, I still hate you”, I showed him who the winner is.

Himchan was speechless, finally. The time went slowly in the dark, at least for me. The thunder was getting louder and the power wasn’t coming. I hugged my knees up, like a little child, and sat there. Soon enough, it was all quiet. The thunder faded away and the only thing that someone could hear was the unbalanced breathing by two people. In that moment the power came. Minah was sleeping tightly, her head on Yongguk’s shoulder while her fingers were locked with Jongup’s, who was also sleeping. My gaze went to the watch, five till midnight. Great, the rain isn’t stopping and we’ll have to spend the night here.

“Himchan, can you pull this couch out? I don’t want to wake Minah up”, Yongguk whispered, lifting Minah in his arms and pushing Jongup up

“Sure, hold on a bit”, Himchan said.

Yongguk placed Minah on now already ready sleeping place for her. Himchan went to get pillows and blankets. Until he got back, Minah was already hugging Yongguk’s arm tightly that he couldn’t even move. Jongup just casually slept next to her, his arm wrapped around her waist. Both of them just slept, not even bothered by the awkward Yongguk there.
