Before long, my relationship with Dara was the talk of the school. Though I was used to being talked about I was bothered when I hear her name in conversations. I do not like the fact that now everyone wants to look/talk/ask/inspect her. It's all my fault. I had ed her in the lime light. Competition aside, I know I had made her life uncomfortable. As I see her trying to hide her face when she walks along the crowd.

"DARA NUNA!" I called out. The crowd stops and looks at her. Omo. I didn't mean to do that. She stops, looks at me with exasperration in her eyes. She then quickens her footsteps as she walks away.

I fight the urge to call her out one more time and just tried to catch up to her. I bowed my head, clasped my hands in front of my face and started apologizing, "Mianhe. Mianhe. Mianhe. Mianhe...."

She grabs me by the wrist, "Stop, you're making people look."

"Well, they're already looking."

"That doesn't mean you should make a scene for them to stare!"
