Sleeping with the Enemy (Repost)Chapter 33
“Jaejoong. You are back.” Mrs. Kim hugged her son tightly as she opened the door & found him standing there. Jaejoong kissed his mother’s cheeks & forced on a smile on his pale face, “How are you, mom?”
“I haven't seen you for three months. Look at you. You haven’t taken much care of yourself. You are becoming thinner & thinner. Did you eat properly? Or has your job taken up all of your energy?”
He glanced away & gave a stiff nod as he didn’t want to pursue the subject furthermore.
“You should haven’t taken that job in Singapore, Jae.”
He smiled again, “Thank you for your concern, mom, but I don’t regret it. It was a great opportunity to work with people from from different culture.”
Mrs. Kim took his hand, “Have you had your lunch yet?”
“Yes, I have.”
“I’m having lunch right now. Would you accompany me?”
“Of course.”
They walked into the house & took a seat at the dining table. Mrs. Kim was having lunch by herself.
“Do you still want to go to the States? Why don’t you continue your job here in your father’s office? He needs you, Jae. It’s better if you work for your father rather than other law company.”

“You are right, mom.” Now, his smile eased away & his rugged-face hardened a little, “I decided to cancel my trip to the States. I refuse the job offer.”
Mrs. Kim couldn’t tear her gaze from the solemnity in her son’s eyes. He was saying something to her that she couldn’t quite grasps. Something deeper than his words. She knew it. The room stayed silent.
“I’m confused, Jaejoong. You said you don’t want to work in Korea anymore & now you are saying that you decided to cancel your trip to the States & refused their job offer. What exactly are you going to do?”
“I want to be with Tiffany for the rest of my life.”
His mother widened her eyes in disbelief, “You are crazy, Jaejoong. How many times have I told you that she’s…”
“She’s my cousin & sister now. I know that.” He said coolly.
“But why?” She asked him, unable to keep her voice from rising with frustration. Why didn’t Jaejoong understand her re
