The next day they met up for the practice as usual. Today was the day for their pre-recording sessions.

Today, Eunji was the first one to arrive.  She was waiting, reading the script while doing so.

“Anneonghaseyo sunbaenim!” Eunji greeted as Shin Dongyup entered

And soon, Suho too entered, greeting Eunji and Shin Dongyup

“Anneunghaseyo, sunbaenim..” Suho bowed and smiled at them

“Ya, you both. Since we will be spending some time together, just drop with the formalities. “ Dongyup commanded before he settled down

Eunji and Suho just looked at each other. Eunji debuted before Suho, she was the sunbae; but then Suho was older in age..

Eunji approached Suho cautiously

“You can just call me Eunji then..” she said and Suho nodded

“How’s your throat today?”

“It’s not much better…And yeah, your muffler! It’s so warm, I even wore it today..” he said sheepishly

“Haha, you don’t have to worry about that. You can keep the muffler, think of it as a gift from me!”

“But..”

“If you feel uncomfortable about receiving a gift, you can buy me a different muffler!” Eunji said with a smile

“I’ll do that then!”

“Ok, let’s start recording now!” the director announced

They started recording the dubbing parts at first. Since it was their first time, it took some time to get used to, but it went smoothly after they became used to it.

“Ok, this much dubbing for now. We’ll try and see how song goes! Eunji, you first!”

Eunji went and sang her song, getting praise for it

“Good job! Next, Suho!”

Suho went to the recording studio and started singing..only to get stopped by director

“Ya, what’s wrong with you? Again!”

Suho bowed and apologized and began again.. this happened again and again

Eunji could see him struggling due to his throat ache but he didn’t tell a word.

Instead, he just took the criticism with a sad smile and continued

WHY? Just why doesn’t he get mad? Now that I think about it, I have never seen him get mad…How can he keep smiling when he’s scolded like that…..What makes this guy tick..?

Eunji was really curious about him now. Unable to him treated this way anymore, she approached the director

“Director nim..”

“What is it, Eunji ?”

“Suho..oppa has throat ache today..so his condition is not too good…maybe we should record his part some other day?” she suggested

Director took a look at Suho, who was struggling inside

“Why didn’t he tell us then?” Director asked

“Seeing him, I think he isn’t the type to burden others with his own problems…he was just holding it in…”

 Director nodded
