Listening to music made things more enjoyable, and make time go faster. It was just when she was singing, grooving and cooking that she eerily felt like she was being watched..she slowly turned around..and she was right

She was embarrassed but made sure he didn’t see that. He looked..unique. Not traditionally handsome but there was something about him that attracted her. She took off her headphones and bowed slightly

“You must be Eunji. I’ve heard a lot about you. Good to see you at last” he smiled

“You must be the son then. Anneonghaseyo. I’m sorry but I didn’t catch your name..”, Eunji asked carefully

His smile noticeably became smaller as he replied. “Sunggyu. Kim Sunggyu.”

“Ah, Sunggyu sshi. I heard lot of praises about you but my mom never mentioned your name”

“That’s all right” Sunggyu said casually

Suddenly realizing that she was middle of cooking, Eunji let out a curse and turned to see if the food got burned

Only after making sure that food was okay that Eunji realized that she cursed in front of him

Eunji slowly turned back to see his expression, to see him smirking

“Ahem..so what are you doing in the kitchen?”

Few days ago

“Sunggyu~ are you home?”                

“Ne omma~ what is it?” Sunggyu replied from the sofa where he was lying

 “Ah! I just met my childhood friend today, and she invited us over to dinner! I just wanted you know. Be there on time, arasso?”

“Ok omma..anything else?”

“Hmm, she has a daughter few years younger than you..Eunji. Her mom said she is a vocal trainer, and is quite pretty~ I hope you will be friends with her~” his mom said with a smile

“Aishh, omma, I can find my own girls..” Sunggyu got up and went back to his room

On the day of the dinner, Sunggyu was running late because of his work. When he reached the house, Eunji’s mom opened the door for him. He greeted everyone and just when he was about to sit with them, he was called out by his mother

“Sunggyu ya, what will you do here, listening to old people’s talk~ Go help Eunji in the kitchen!”

“Aigoo~ How can I make a guest go into kitchen!” Eunji’s mom protested

“No ahjumma, it’s all right. Where is the kitchen?” Sunggyu asked, and went where she pointed

He could hear as he was walking away “Aigoo Sunghwa~ you have such a well mannered son~”

He had no idea what to expect of Eunji. From his mother’s description, he was expecting a lady like fragile girl, but what he saw was beyond his own imagination.

The moment he entered the kitchen, he was greeted by a girl dancing, singing and cooking at the same time. She was casually dressed in well fitting jeans and a tee but he had never seen a girl look more pretty from behind. Unconsciously a smile was formed in his face. As if feeling his presence she turned to look at him, and boy he was not disappointed.
