That morning

“Hoya hyung. I think you better not go in now..” Sunjong warned Hoya, who was about to enter their common living room

Infifnite were in Japan, midst of their Japan tour. They were currently in Tokyo and had a concert scheduled today. They had rented a suite in hotel, so the living room was their common area

“Why Sunjongie? Is something going on in there?” Hoya asked as he peeked into the living room curiously

“Sunggyu hyung is in his mood..” Sunjong whispered

“Aishh that hyung…” Hoya entered the living room, ignoring Sunjong’s warning

“Hyung, what’s wrong with you? Why are you taking out your anger on others?”

“I’ve been calling Eunji since days but she’s not picking up! I know she is fine because she was in event yesterday!”

“Why do you think she’s not picking up? Isn’t it obvious she’s ignoring you?” Hoya said sarcastically, earning a glare from Sunggyu

“Ya, you try calling her. She’ll pick it up if it’s you!”

“Now now, I don’t want to come between you two’s fight. Last time I did, I got a bruise from Eunji! So, unless she approaches you, I’m not butting in.” Hoya said as he laid down on sofa

“Then atleast tell me where she’s staying! I know you have been talking to her, so you know.”

Hoya just ignored Sunggyu and browsed his phone

Hyung would go crazy if he knew APink were staying in the same hotel..Hoya chuckled

“Why do you need to see her though? “

“I just miss her… I haven’t seen her for months..” Sunggyu sighed “And I wanted to give her some stuffs I brought from India..”

“Well, it was you who stood her up at Valentines, so she has a valid reason for being angry.”

Their manager burst in just then,

“You guys, get ready. You have an interview in half an hour.”

“So that’s that. Focus on the concert now, hyung.” Hoya said before leaving the living room, leaving Sunggyu frowning alone

After Concert

“Hyung!” Hoya approached Sunggyu in the hallway

Sunggyu just gave him a stink eye, still mad with him for this morning

“Hyung, aren’t you going to change?”

“Why do you care if I change or not?” he replied briskly

“Don’t be like that hyung! “ Hoya guided Sunggyu to their assigned waiting room, and made him sit down

“Are you still mad with me about this morning?” Hoya asked

“Hmph, as if I’m that childish” Sunggyu replied but Hoya could see he still was

“About Eunji..”

“What about Eunji?” Sunggyu asked immediately, forgetting his anger

“I talked to her earlier.”

“So she calls you but ignores all my calls huh.” His mood turned gloomy again, making Hoya amused with his mood changes

“Well, I’m not the boyfriend who stood her up. I’m her good friend so there’s no reason she shouldn’t call me… Hyung, why don’t you show her more appreciation?” Hoya suggested

“What do you mean show more appreciation? You, more than anyone else should know how much I love her!” Sunggyu’s voice rose up

“See, that’s the problem. Shouldn’t Eunji be the one who knows how much you love her? Think from her perspective. She was the one who asked for her number first, and she was the one who confessed first. She must be thinking that she is the only one invested in the relationship!”

“Ya! You know that’s not it! I was the one who kept asking you to introduce us! But you just happened to listen to her and ignore me! “Sunggyu retorted

“Well, she doesn’t know that, does she?”

“Its just embarrassing.. What would she think if she knows that I visited the Reply 1997 shooting so many times just to see her face…but didn’t have enough courage so ended up observing from the tinted van.. YA LEE HOWON! You should have just introduced us when I asked you to!”

Hoya shrugged

“Well,  I needed to know if she was interested in you too..”

Just then, a breeze came in, fluttering the curtains

“AAAGH!” Sunggyu gave out a scream “Omma!”
