No one’s POV

The day after the incident, both Exo and Apink returned to school with the trophies on their hands. Everyone congratulated them of course and received lots of credit for the win. The feeling of happiness was present yet they still felt like they didn’t deserve winning for losing their friends. Bomi and Luhan weren’t gone physically but they were gone emotionally.

 “Chorong-ah how’s Bomi?” Suho asked Chorong who looked deep in thoughts.

“She’s not talking to us anymore… She locked herself up in her room” Chorong answered, her head hanging low.

“I’m sorry…” Suho said

“What about Luhan? Where’s he now?” Namjoo asked, a tone of discomfort in her voice

“Well, I don't know. He's no talking to us nor stays at the dorm often. Though I think he'll come to school tomorrow, I doubt he'll be back to normal." Kris sighed "He's been leaving the house lately but I don't think he's wasting himself because he comes home decent and not drunk.” Kris added

“Where is he going then?” Eunji asked bluntly.

“We have no idea” Sehun shrugged "Don't you see him outtside of your dorm?" Sehun questioned and the girls looked at each other confusedly before a wondering Namjoo answerd "Well, I did see him outside the gate ones but he just turned away and left" Namjoo told them, waiting for soeone to react and that's when all the boys stared at each other looking as if light bulbs just lit up on top of their heads.

"I think he's been wanting to apologize to noona" Tao commented followed by Xiumin who said "But couldn't bring himslef up to do it because he is too ashamed of himself" They all nodded in understanding but none of them bothered to add anything.

“Why does it feel so unfair?” Chorong suddenly said

“What do you mean?” Suho asked

“Bomi, she was the one who encouraged us to work hard for this. Yes, she only wanted Luhan’s attention but I know she also wanted the world to see our talents. When we won, the smile on her face was priceless, she was not happy because of Luhan. She was happy because she did something for herself. She deserved to be congratulated, she should have enjoyed the night but instead she cried. She was humiliated in front of many. Why is it so unfair? Bomi only wanted happiness but she got the opposite” Chorong let out a deep sigh, stopping the tears that were threatening to fall with what she was about to say next

“I’m really sorry for what Luhan did. I don’t know what got into him.” Suho said consoling Chorong, rubbing her back softly.

“I don’t even know why Luhan Hyung did that to Bomi noona when in fact Bomi noona didn’t do anything to harm him” Kai said as he stared  aimlessly at the cafeteria roof.

“I feel so useless” Chorong confessed

“No don’t say that. You did everything you could do to help Bomi. I’m sure Luhan deserved that slap anyway” Suho said, still wiping Chorong’s tears.

“No. It’s not that. I could have done something to stop him fromhurting Bomi, but I don't know why I didin't” Chorong covered her face, frustrated witth herself.

“What do you mean Unnie?” Naeun asked, curiously staring at Chorong

“I saw everything. I saw Luhan slowly leave the stage and Bomi left too so I decided to spy on them because I thought Luhan would confess or something. I mean let’s admit it. Luhan was starting to like Bomi. I didn’t know where I was going, I couldn’t find Bomi and I ended up finding Luhan instead. I saw how Seohyun kissed another guy in front of Luhan and I saw how Luhan got angry. Bomi came, Luhan was probably pissed. He probably needed some time alone and Bomi just came at the wrong time.
