“Hello.”

“Miss Choi?”

“Deh, who’s speaking?”

“Meet me at 5.00 p.m. tomorrow at Sea Garden restaurant.”

The lady ended the call after she said what she wanted to. Sulli stares at her phone while wrinkling her forehead.

“Who could it be?”

Minho walks to her and kisses her forehead.

“Waeyo?”

Sulli smiles and shakes her head.

“Aniyo. Nothing. Thanks for sending them to school.”

“It’s my pleasure.”

Sulli smiles.

“I’m going to see Taemin before I meet Hannah.”

“Deh.Careful.I'll go straight to the studio.”

Minho nods.

“Thanks for letting me in last night.”

Sulli smiles.

“Kenchana. You are welcomed in this house. Anytime.”

Minho smiles and put his palm on her cheek.

“I’m leaving neh.”

Sulli nods.

“Take care.”

Minho smiles and walks to his car.

“I’m sorry. I shouldn’t tell her about your personal things before asking you.”

Minho smiles.

“Kenchana. You just want to protect her from hurting. I understand.”

Taemin nods.

“She doesn’t have anyone to lean on. I’m afraid that she will get hurt again.”

Taemin sighs.

“Anyway, glad to hear that you will fight for her. I heard about your mother. She won’t let you get away.”

Minho nods.

“Deh. But I will make her agree.”

“Did you mean it’s about my hyung and Hannah ssi relationship?”

“Aniya. There is something.”

Taemin nods.

“Tell me if you need any help.”

“I will. Thank you for being there for Sulli.”

“I’ll always be. Even if I became an eyesore for you.”

He chuckles.

Minho laughs.

“Hope to hear good news from you.”

Minho nods and pats Taemin’s back.

“Thank you.”

“Mr. Lee, how is Hannah doing?”

“She can be discharged on Tuesday. We just need to follow up if she had any symptoms occurring.”

“Chinca? That’s a relief.”

Jinki smiles.

“Why don’t you visit her? It’s past breakfast time, so she must awake.”

“Let’s go together.”

Jinki glances at his diary and nods.

“Alright.”

Hannah looks healthier than before. She doesn’t look pale anymore. Her expression is cheer and there were no IV connected to her vein.

“How are you?”

Minho asks when he walks in. Hannah put down the magazine that she was reading and smiles beautifully at the two men.

“Good as you can see. What brings you here?”

Minho sit down on the chair beside her while Jinki checks her report.

“I just want to visit you.”

“During office hour? Who do you want to fool Mr. Choi Minho?”

Hannah said laughing. Jinki shakes his head and sit on Hannah’s left.

“Yes you are right. I come to hand to you a very important thing that will change everything about us.”

“Us? You seem serious.”

Minho nods.

“Maybe I should leave you both alone?”

“Ani. I want you to be here. That’s why I come to meet you first.”

Jinki sits comfortably again.

Minho took out a box from his briefcase.

“My life and future lies in this box. It’s dangerous for me or Sulli to keep it because I’m afraid that my mom will send someone to spy on me. If she did, she will know about Sulli.”

Hannah nods while she took the box.

“What’s in there?”

“What I want to get them pay for my father’s death.”

“I thought it was an accident.”

“They make it sounds like an accident.”

“Minho, I’m sorry.”

“It’s okay. I’m okay. Can you keep it for me Hannah?”

“Sure, but I do think it will be secure if Jinki hold this for you. What if aunty comes to me?”

“I’m okay with it. I’ll keep it secure like my life.”

“Thanks Mr. Lee. I really appreciate it.”

Jinki smiles.

“It’s okay. That’s what friends for.”

Minho smiles. He was lucky. Even that he lives with a scary woman throughout his lives, he finally get acquaintance with nice people around him.

“I’ll tell you everything when you have been discharge. We’ll have to spend longer time to talk about it.”

“Okay Minho. You can tell me whenever you feel like.”

Jinki nods, agreeing Hannah.

“Arasseo. One more thing, if my mom happens to meet your appa to discuss about our marriage, tell your appa to give her his consent. Its better way so that she will not ruins your family business.”

Hannah nods while Jinki sigh.

“I put my faith on you Minho ssi.”

Minho smiles and nods.

“I have to clear out many things right now. Thank you for giving me a hand.”

Hannah smiles.

“I don’t have any idea about that but good luck. Protect her.”

Minho smiles once again and took his leave. He need to go to the office so that Secretary Yoo won’t suspect anything. He has to be there so that they won’t do anything behind his back anymore.

“I’m thinking of hiring another secretary.”

“Deh?”

Minho tilts his head and control himself from showing his annoyed expression to secretary Yoo.

“Why did you look surprise?”

“Ani, we had been having only one secretary since President Choi’s time.”

“Ara, I want someone younger that can run when I ask to run and stop when I ask to stop. Not someone who always reports my deeds to mom.”

Secretary choked while staring nervously at Minho.

“Do you want to see doctor secretary Yoo? You look pale?”

“Ani, I’m fine young master.”

Minho looks at him with a crooked mouth.

“Are you sure?”

He nods.

“If you say so.”

“Is there anything else young master?”

Minho shakes his head.

“I’m fine. I’m going to the studio to check how the shooting going on.”

“Deh.”

Minho walks with secretary Yoo follows from behind.

“Waeyo?”

“I should come with you young master.”

“Just stay here. You are unwell. I’ll take care of it myself.”

Secretary Yoo bows at his instruction and let Minho goes by his own.

“Miss Choi?”

Sulli nods at the waitress.

“This way please.”

She bows and follows her to a room.

“Madam is waiting inside. Please go in.”

“Okay. Kamsahamnida.”

The waitress bows and smiles at her.

Sulli opens the door to reveal a lady with full of charm. She wrinkles her forehead.

“Who could she be?”

She thought while greeting her.

“Annyeonghaseyo.”

The lady lift her head and looks at Sulli.

“Oh you are here? Sit down.”

Sulli walks to her with a smile and sit opposite of her who wear a straight face.

“Choi Sulli right?”

Sulli nods.

“Sorry but you are?”

“Madam Choi of Choi Empire. You must have heard of me right?”

Sulli was surprised at first but she composed herself and answers her.

“Deh.”

“So, do you know my son?”

Sulli nods.

“You are sincere I see.”

“Deh?”

“You didn’t hide about that.”

Sulli smiles.

“We worked together in a project.”

Mrs. Choi laughs.

“Don’t kid me. I know about your relationship with him. Are you planning this long? To seduce my son for my wealth?”

Sulli chuckles which make Mrs. Choi stares at her in anger.

“Why are you laughing?”

Sulli shakes her head.

“Did I look funny?”

Sulli wasn’t answer.

“I’m warning you Miss Choi. Step out from Minho’s life before I make you do that.”

Sulli shakes her head.

“Are you being bold here? What security did you got that you can talk bravely like this?”

Sulli smiles.

“I don’t need that. Try walk the life I’m living and if you get as far as I am, just maybe you will see how strong I really am.”

Mrs. Choi laughs.

“Are we on a philosophy class Miss Choi? I’m talking about you step out of my son’s life not how strong you are?”

Sulli smiles.

“Arayo. But, I’m just saying this to make you know that I will fight with him, for him. I’ll make him happy. I won’t let you caged him in the prison again.”

“You dare talk that to me?”

Mrs. Choi stares at Sulli from head to toe and smirks.

“You are just a piece of rag Miss Choi. What can you do?”

Sulli looks at her appearance.

“If dressing with these designer labels makes me looks like rags, what makes you?”

Sulli is stating the facts. Even that she is an orphan, she is not born poor. Her parents provide them with enough money to lead their lives. She wears branded clothing too.

Mrs. Choi curls her fists.

“Rude lady.”

Sulli just smiles.

“I’ll not back up with your threat. Someone once said to me. If you ever find someone that makes you smiles, who checks up on you often, who watches out for you and who wants the best for you, don’t let him go. And I’m going to go with the sayings, I won’t let him go.”

Mrs. Choi clenched her teeth.

“Don’t you care about those kids?”

“I am. Why won’t I care about them? But I do care about Minho too. Nothing can pull us apart.”

Mrs. Choi slams her hand on the table.

“Listen carefully Miss Choi. I won’t let you go easily. I will make you beg like a beggar to me.”

Sulli nods.

“I’ll wait patiently for it to happen.”

She smiles making Mrs. Choi fired up with anger.

“Just wait Miss Choi.”

She grabs her handbag angrily and walks out of the reserved restaurant with boiling heart.

Sullli breathe out and put her palm on her chest. Her heart was beating fast throughout her conversation with Mrs. Choi but she acts like she doesn’t care.

“Will she harm the kids?”
