Foreword
"Bye, Dad. I'm leaving," I said. He didn't answer, so I left. Typical. He wouldn't talk to me anymore. Mom was the only reason he would put up with me, but now that's she's gone, I am a stranger living in his house. I got in the car and drove to school, making a mental note to find out how to tie a noose after school....
When I arrived to my first period class, I went over and took my seat. "Hey, ," one of my former friends/one of my current enemies, Minho, said. I didn't respond, so he pushed my shoulder to make sure I saw him. "Hey, . I'm talking to you."
"I noticed. Now please leave me alone," I replied quietly. He left and took his seat. I had reserved the nickname "" because apparently, I wasn't manly enough. I watched the teacher come in with a guy. He had wispy and long, light brown hair and a kind smile. His eyes were dark brown and small, but also sort of cute.... NO. I'M A GUY.
"Class, this is Lee Taemin. He is a new student here, so I expect you all to treat him well," she introduced the new guy, looking specifically at Minho when she said "all". "Why don't you go sit next to Kibum?" she suggested, pointing to the empty seat next to me. He walked over and took it, smiling at me.
"Annyeong, Kibum," he said quietly. I looked over and gave a small smile.
"You can just call me Key. Like everyone else," I told him. He nodded.
