Making my way out down the almost empty hall, I was walking alone. Kyungsoo wasn’t with me because a friend of his had asked him for help on an assignment. I volunteered to stay and wait for him but he refused to let me. He wasn’t sure how long it would take him to help his friend so he suggested that I should just leave without him. Left with no choice, I did as I was suggested. Once I reached the heavy door, I pushed it opened and my body was immediately greeted by the warm weather. Luckily, I had my blazer stuffed inside my backpack before I left the classroom. It was understandable that the weather was slightly warm since it was late January.   Sometimes, it’s cold. Sometimes, it’s warm.   Looking around as I made my way down the many steps, I found the boys standing by the front gate, like usual. They were chatting amongst themselves without a care that there were some students standing not too far away from them, gawking at them as if they were models. In honesty, they do look like a bunch of young models due to their uniform. The guys styled their outfits accordingly to their own taste, giving it a flavor indicating their individuality. Their individuality is very, very different. So, if people are really horrible with remembering faces, their clothes will definitely remind you who’s who.   “Hey, where is Chen?” I questioned the first thing I noticed. I realized that with my appearance to the group, it made a couple of the female students slightly upset. Well, I’ve been upsetting most of them ever since I started attending the school. “He’s not at another meeting is he? Suho, you’re not with him so I’m guessing it’s an optional meeting?”   Suho shook his head with an uneasy look written on his face. “You don’t know?”   Raising an eyebrow at him, I glanced at the boys before facing him again. “Know what?”   Sehun tossed his arm around me after giving my arm a gentle punch. “Hyung vomited in his second last class and was immediately sent home. I think he ate something wrong during lunch or something.” He tapped his hand against my shoulder as if it was a piano. “Auntie came to pick him up.”   I was beginning to worry about him. Ever since I met him, there hasn’t been a time that he was sick. I wondered what was really going on with him. He’s like a brother to me, who’s always looking over me with protectiveness, so it was normal for me to show many signs of concerns. “I hope he’s okay.”   Baekhyun waved a hand, telling me not to worry so much. “He texted me earlier when he got home. He said he’s perfectly fine. He just ate something he shouldn’t have. He took his medication and is under Auntie’s care. He’s probably sleeping right now as we speak.” He made his way over to me, hand gently wrapped around my forearm as an assuring smile appearing on his face as if he knew what I was thinking. “If it makes you feel any better, we can go out and get him soup or his favorite food so he could eat once he wakes up. I’m sure Auntie wouldn’t mind. How about that?”   “I’d like that.” I nodded with eager.   We all stood around and hung out for a bit more after Chanyeol told us that he received a text from Kyungsoo. He was done with helping his friend and needed a ride home from one of the guys. Once he came out, we all began to disperse after we discussed who was riding with who home. Suho is Sehun’s personal chauffer since they live in the same neighborhood – and the fact that Sehun only has a permit with no car – he went home with Suho. Chanyeol didn’t want to go home yet so he headed for the field to look for the guys he tend to play basketball with in the mornings. Kyungsoo lives a block away from Chanyeol so he decided to go home with him later.   Baekhyun and I headed for the lot that Chen had parked in that morning. I didn’t exactly remember where Chen had parked the car so I was pretty lucky that Baekhyun decided to ride with us in the morning because he was too lazy to drive. He remembered where the car was parked so it saved us a lot of time. If I was alone or with the other guys that didn’t come to school with us this morning, it would have been an issue because I tend to forget where I park my car a lot. Another good thing that came with Baekhyun riding with us in the morning was that he could drive Chen’s car. I wasn’t able to because my American’s driver license doesn’t work in Korea.   “I don’t think soup will fill him up, Johae.” Baekhyun stated after he started the engine.   I buckled my seatbelt before facing him. “Well, I was thinking we could get him soup, his favorite food, and some snacks.” I happily stated as he buckled his own seatbelt after he locked the doors; forced of habits, he said. “I also want to get him a ‘Get Well Soon’ card or balloon.”   He shrugged. “Whatever you say, then.” He switched the car into reverse. He turned his body slightly towards my way and looked behind to see if he could reverse without hitting anything, or anyone. Once he began reversing, he asked, “Do you know where you want to get him any of those things you listed?”   I didn’t think of that… “No. Do you?”   “In fact, I do.” He said with ease and a slight chuckle, which I might say sounded really attractive.   -   The place that Baekhyun had in mind was the supermarket.
