Lay - Today is Lauren's (Krystal and Lay's daughter) birthday, Krystal was busy preparing her birthday while Lay was still busy at his office so he missed the party. Krystal and Lauren was mad at Lay. How Lay will try to convince both of them to forgive him?

"You'll be back in time for her birthday party right?" Krystal asked, adjusting Lay's tie.

"Definitely, anything for my angel." Lay replied, showing off his dimple before giving Krystal a peck on the cheek.

At the office, files and stacks of papers piled up in no time.

"Lay, could you sign this please?

"Lay, could you please read through this document, it's urgent."
"Lay, you have 3 clients tomorrow."

Yixing was exhausted and very stressed out. *I'm never going to make it home on time.* Lay sighed.

He skipped lunch and tea break so as to finish up the work as quickly as possible, with hope that he'd be able to make it home on time.

Hours felt like minutes to Lay and he was literally fighting for time. By the time Lay had finished all his work, it was already 9pm. Of all days to work over time.

*Oh crap.* Lay quickly retrieved his materials and dashed out of the office headed straight for his car.

His car was practically speeding, but the traffic jam at the junction added on to the delay. Lay banged his hand against the steering wheel, picturing his daughter's face of disappointment.

Quickly making his way into the house, he was greeted by Krystal's angry self on the couch, arms folded.

"Where's Lauren?" He asked.

"Asleep." Krystal said coldly.

"Oh."

"You're late."

"I know."

"She, no scratch that, WE are very disappointed."

"I'm sorry, I had a lot of work to do."

Krystal sighed, she was too tired to pick a fight.

"Think of how to make it up to us."

After a long period of silence, Lay spoke.

"How about amusement park tomorrow? I'll call the office to apply for leave."
"Okay. She's awake in her room by the way, give her your present."

Lay gave Krystal a quick peck before running up to Lauren's room to give her her present.
