"Are you convinced now?" he asks, and Kyungsoo's mouth goes dry.

"Soo, I'm in love with you," Baekhyun continues, taking his best friend's small hands in his. "I think you're the cutest person in the world. I love your cooking and I love the shape your lips make when you smile and I love your voice and all I ever wanted for two years was for you to be mine."

Kyungsoo can barely hear the words over the beating of his heart. He's gonna die. He's gonna fall over. He's gonna have a seizure right in front of his crush oh my god this is so embarrassing.

"I..."

Baekhyun's eyes look cloudy. Kyungsoo swallows.

"I, um, I'm kind of in love with you too maybe I don't know klasdskaslf this isn't real," he squeaks, falling sideways on the couch with his hands covering his face.

Except his head sort of lands on Baekhyun’s lap.

The older man’s fingers Kyungsoo’s burning cheeks and he laughs.

“I guess that’s a yes, then,” he whispers before bending down and slanting his lips over Kyungsoo’s.
