“Is this Mrs. Choi?”

“Yes. Who’s speaking?”

“Mrs. Choi, we are calling from Seoul Hospital.”

“Seoul Hospital?”

Sulli’s heart race faster. The line was silent.

“Is something happen to Minho?”

She thought before she wipes the beads of sweats that formed on her forehead.

She breathes before she calm herself down. She endures the dizziness on her head and pay attention to the voice.

“What happens miss?”

Suddenly the person on the other line laughs. Sulli sighs after she realizes the voice.

“Aish unni. You nearly make me die.”

“Omo. Chinca? Sorry darling. I just want to play around. Did I go overboard? Mianhe sweetie.”

Sulli smiles.

“Kenchana unni. Why did you call?”

“Can’t I call you?”

Soo Young laughs.

“I had been pressing the bell since half an hour ago darling. Minho says you are home and your car is here too. Did you went out?”

“You are here?”

Sulli quickly walks out of her bed and runs down the stairs. The throbbing pain on her head disappeared at once.

She opens the door and smiles brightly when she saw Soo Young standing in front of the door with her legs crossing. So model-like.

“Annyeong darling.”

Soo Young gives Sulli a tight but short hugs before she kisses her cheeks.

“You had become prettier.”

“You too unni.”

Soo Young laughs.

“I always am.”

Sulli laughs at her casuality.

“Come in unni.”

“Deh. Kaja.”

“So unni how long is your holiday this time?”

Sulli asks when they had sat down on the sofa, side by side.

“A month. I’ll stay here for about 2 or 3 days. Can I?”

“Of course unni. You don’t have to ask.”

Sulli smiles.

“Do you want anything to drink?”

“Actually I’m so hungry. What did you cook?”

Soo Young asks brightly.

“Actually unni, I’m feeling so drained off today, I fall asleep since I come home earlier.”

“Is it? How are you feeling now?”

“I’m feeling better. Can you wait for a while? I’ll cook for you.”

Soo Young shows her palm to Sulli signaling her to stop moving.

“I’ll cook for you today.”

“Unni, are you sure?”

“Eyy, I know I can’t cook well but I know how to cook basic dishes darling. Lend me your kitchen neh.”

Sulli nods with a smile.

“Do I stay in my previous room?”

“Deh.”

“Okay. I’ll change my clothes first. Go and take a shower. I suppose this is your office wear right?”

Sulli look at her clothes and smile shyly.

“Deh. I’ll bath really quickly. I’ll come down in a while and lend you a hand neh.”

“Okay, but take your time. don’t rush.”

Sulli nods and walks to her room while Soo Young went inside her room.

“How do I flip this?”

Sulli smiles and shakes her head. She went to the pan and flips the egg easily.

“Like this unni.”

Soo Young smiles sheepishly and scratches her head.

“It’s simple as that huh? I don’t know.”

“Unni, you should stand nearer. You stand too far away.”

Soo Young stare at her with horror.

“Stand nearer? What if the oil jumps out?”

Sulli laughs while hugging her stomach.

“Unni, do you know that you are so funny? Aigoo, that’s why I say, let me cook.”

“Araseeo, take this.”

Soo Young passes the spatula to Sulli.

“You take care of the rest. Aish Sulli ya. How come you are so good at cooking?”

“I love cooking unni. I’ve told you right?”

“Ara ara. But, loving something doesn’t mean you are perfect at it right?”

“Deh. I learn a lot. From omma, from books, internet.”

Soo Young nods as she helps Sulli cut the vegetables.

Sulli cooks the rest of the dishes swiftly.

“I really can’t be like you darling. I think I have to marry a chef.”

Sulli chuckles.

“I hope you find one.”

Soo young nods and flashes her white teeth.

“Is Minho usually late?”

Sulli glance at the wall clock.

“Ani. He said that he has a meeting today, maybe he got a lot to do from that meeting.”

Soo Young nods again.

“Sulli ya, let’s go to the park after this.”

Sulli glance at Soo Young before she focuses on her soup again.

“I thought you were hungry.”

“I am. Let’s take a walk after we eat neh.”

“Deh.”

“Do you often walks here darling?”

“Ani unni. We always spend time at home.”

“Chinca? Still in honeymoon feels right?”

Soo Young tease with a laugh.

Sulli smiles coyly and nods her head.

“I’m happy that you happy sweetie.”

“Thanks unni.”

“You are most welcome. Let’s have a seat.”

“Deh.”

They walk to a shady tree and sit down on the bench under it. They look silently at the toddlers and children who were playing happily at the playground.

“Sulli ya.”

Soo Young speaks after a while.

Sulli hums for an answer without taking her eyes from the kids.

“They are beautiful right?”

She nods.

“How do you feel if you had someone on your own?”

Sulli looks at Soo Young with a bright smile.

“I can’t describe it in words unni. I will be the most happiest person.”

Soo Young smiles and nods.

“Wae unni?”

“Ani darling. I’m just asking.”

Sulli smiles and turns her view to the kids again.

Minho kisses Sulli’s lips lightly when he steps into their house.

“I heard you come home early. Wae Ssul?”

“Just feels a bit tired oppa.”

Minho places his palm on her forehead. He furrowed his eyebrows.

“Are you feverish? Do you want to go to clinic?”

Sulli smiles as he took Minho’s hand and kisses it.

“I’m fine now oppa. Don’t worry.”

“Really?”

He still asked her in concern tone.

“Deh. Now go and freshen up. I’ll heat up the food for you.”

She smiles brightly as she walks to the kitchen.

Minho stares at his wife and smiles. He then walks to his room for a shower.

“Where is noona?”

“She went out right after we back from the park.”

Minho smiles.

“You went to the park?”

“Deh. It’s so refreshing oppa. The green grass and the sight of children playing around is really beautiful.”

“Chinca?”

Sulli nods.

“But you don’t want to have a walk there. You always want to spend time cuddling.”

Minho chuckles.

“But you like being in my arms wifey.”

Sulli giggles.

“Deh.”

“How was work today?”

“The deal going on smooth even that they were fussy.”

“Really? Taemin must have gotten annoyed then.”

Minho chuckles.

“Deh. He whined a lot.”

Sulli laughs.

“I knew he will.”

Minho nods and finishes his last spoon of rice.

“Wae chagiya? Are you feeling tired again?”

“Deh oppa. My head hurts.”

Sulli massages her head as she leans on the header of their bed.

Minho sighs and reaches for his phone.

“Taemin, I’ll be in a bit late. Can you please handle my calls? Okay thanks.”

He then dialed another number.

“Jane, maybe I’ll be late today. Can you pass my calls to Taemin? Thanks.”

He ended the call and walks to his wife.

“Let’s go to doctor.”

Sulli nods slowly.

He put his phone inside his pocket before he carries Sulli in his arms.

They met Soo Young who was walking out of her room.

“Noona, I’m going to clinic.”

“Wae? What happen? Why did you carry her?”

Soo Young asks worriedly.

“She wasn’t feeling well again. i’ll get going now neh.”

“Deh. Careful.”

Sulli leans her head onto Minho’s shoulder. Her body was too weak to concern of the eyes that were staring at them.

Minho kisses her hair and caresses it as they wait for Sulli’s turn. His expression was helpless. He was too worried to even straighten his furrowed eyebrows.

“Mrs. Choi Sulli.”

Minho stands up quickly and helps Sulli walks into the room.

“Hello Mr. and Mrs. Choi.”

“Hello doctor.”

Minho answers for both of them after he helps her sit down.

“Can you tell me what happen?”

“She’s been having headache and her body feels weak in a sudden doctor.”

“I see. When did you start being like this Mrs. Choi?”

Sulli give it a thought before she answers.

“About two to three days.”

“Are you working?”

Sulli just nods.

“Is your work tiring?”

“Ani doctor, the work had lessens now.”

“Let’s have your urine tested just to confirm. My nurse will help you.”

Sulli walks out with a nurse and come back after a while.

The nurse handed a report to the doctor and walks out of the room.

“It’s a good news actually Mr. Choi.”

The doctor paused.

“Your wife is pregnant.”

She smiles.

“Really?”

Minho said in a daze. Sulli furrows her eyebrows.

She nods now.

“But I didn’t have any pregnancy symptoms like morning sickness or anything like that.”

“Mrs. Choi, in some cases, mother will not going through morning sickness. It’s not a compulsory.”

The doctor smiles.

“When did you last have your menstruation Mrs. Choi?”

“My mens is not normal, so I don’t pay attention if it’s later than usual.”

“Ah I see. So, we need to do some test and ultrasound to get actual old of your pregnancy neh.”

“Are you sure I’m pregnant doctor?”

She asks once again.

“Yes you are Mrs. Choi.”
