“How could you do this to me omma?”

“I just want to see you happy. He is a good guy Sulli.”

Sulli shuts her eyes and calm herself down before she looks at her mother.

“Who is he?”

She asks in low voice. Mrs. Choi sighs and holds her hand.

“He is the son of your appa’s friend.”

“Is it necessary? This marriage?”

“Deh. For you to forget that guy. How dare he lie about him being single when he has a wife.”

Mrs. Choi shows her frustrated face.

“I believe that he is a nice guy too. He makes us act like a fool.”

She pours it all. She pours it all so that Sulli will stop grieving over him.

“Omma. Stop talking about him. I don’t want to be associated with him again.”

“Sorry.”

“I’m going to my room.”

Sulli stands up. Mrs. Choi touches her arm making her turn around.

“Tell me your decision.”

She pats her mother’s hand and plasters a smile.

“Give me time. I need to sort things out first.”

Minho was on the phone when Mr. Choi walks into his office. He walk to the couch and waits for him there.

He finishes his conversations few minutes later and walks to his dad.

“What is it appa? You rarely come to my office if there is nothing important.”

He chuckles while Mr. Choi laughs.

“Can’t I see my son? You too didn’t come home often since you move out.”

“Works load appa.”

He answers shortly. He picks up his phone.

“Coffee?”

Mr. Choi nods. Minho ordered to his secretary before he put down the phone.

“Busy?”

“Not for now.”

Minho smiles and cross his legs. His secretary comes in with two coffees and left. Mr. Choi sips his coffee and smiles.

“Jane can passes as a Barista.”

He said jokingly.

“Ottoke appa? She can’t leave me and build up her café.”

Minho too sips his coffee.

“Tell me appa.”

“I can’t hide anything from you right?”

He laughs.

“Minho ya. How old are you now?”

“27 appa. But, is that a question?”

He smiles while answering.

Mr. Choi turns serious.

“What do you think of marriage?”

Minho laughs and shakes his head.

“Wae appa? Is there another blind date for me to attend?”

Mr. Choi simply shakes his head.

“I’m thinking of marrying you off with my friend’s daughter.”

Minho stares at his father to sense if he was joking but no. Mr. Choi is seriously serious.

“Okay. I got that this is a serious talk.”

He put down his cup of coffee and sits down comfortably.

“Who is she, what is she doing, what is her age and all about her, please tell me.”

“Like what I said, she is my friend’s daughter. She is working as an account executive in a finance company. She is 24 years old, tall, lovely but a bit stubborn girl.”

“I guess I need to see her first.”

“Okay. I will make an appointment for you both to meet.”

Minho nods.

“Minho, do you agree with it?”

“You won’t make the wrong decision appa.”

He answers with a wink. Mr. Choi understands it right away. Minho is a very obedient son. He will never say no to him or his mother.

Minho arrives early at the Japanese Restaurant that his father had booked. He follows the staff to a private room.

“Kamsahamnida.”

He flashes a smile before he sat. The staff closes the door after she bows to him.

He waited for about 10 minutes before Sulli shows up. She was wearing an executive wear.

 Minho looks at her in awe. She was beautiful. Even though she looks a bit drained from rushing from office, her face still glows.

She took a seat opposite him. she did not look at him at all.

“Mr. Choi Minho right? Sorry if I was late. There is something coming up at work.”

“It’s okay Miss Choi.”

Minho smiles at her while she shows her cold face.

“I’m going to ask you straightly. Do you agree of this marriage?”

“I just go with my parents.”

Sulli lift her head, she look at Minho who was staring at her calmly. She traces his face with her eyes. Sulli heart was thumping. Minho is so handsome. Even with the simple shirt and pant, he looks dashing. Sulli turns her view to the other side of the room.

“Even if you don’t love me?”

“We can learn to love each other as time passes.”

He answers confidently while he sips his drinks. His answer make Sulli look at him back.

“What if it never came?”

Minho sighs. This woman is stubborn.

“Sulli ssi. If it was fated that I will be your husband, I will do my very best to make my wife happy.”

He answers with a smile. Sulli, who don’t know what else to say nods and sips her own drinks.

“Okay. I will marry you.”
