Kids these days.

What Do You Expect Me To Feel

Another Friday night, another money to be thrown off the wallet. Lee Hongki, the frontman of the national number one idol band, FT Island, was spending his Friday night at his usual place with his usual gang. He's enjoying every minute of his day offs. It had been 9 months since FT Island announced their long hiatus.

There was no scandalous reason behind it, though. They just thought this was the time for them to take a break, to live the life they haven't lived before, and to prepare to make a comeback with something bigger than ever. The hiatus itself was planned for a whole year. No albums, no performances, no photoshoots, no radio shows, no CFs, no variety shows, just some random personal appearances at certain events.

The boys are currently living their life after everything they've earned. Hongki bought his own apartment, so did Jonghun. They live as rich bachelors they are. Waking up at noon, being lazy asses at home, meeting a couple of friends, dating older women, going out until dawn, and visiting their family on weekends. The only work they do is composing new songs between their very unbusy routines.

Jaejin and Seunghyun are focusing on their studies in college. They end up still living together somehow. Meanwhile, Minhwan is back at his parent's house, also living his life as a college student.

Though they have different schedules now, they still manage to have a weekly gathering every Monday.

But it was Friday night, which was Chocoball night for Hongki. He arrived at the gang's favorite club, parked his car and went straight to the VIP lounge, only to found a couple of glasses and bottles on the table and one of his friend in a deep make out session with a girl.

"Moving on fast, eh?" Hongki asked as he sat on the other side of the table. The guy only raised his middle finger as a response. Hongki chuckled and started scanning the place, hoping to spot his other friends.

"Yah, Junhyung! Where's everyone?"

This time, his busy friend didn't bother to answer and just keep continuing his business with the girl.

"Aish, this guy." Hongki stood up and decided to go to the bar.

As he walked out the lounge, he saw his bandmate, Choi Jonghun, approaching him with two girls on each arms. The three of them were sweaty as . They must had been killed it at the dance floor.

"Hongki-ah, finally! What took you so long? Com'ere, gimme a kiss!" said Jonghun, followed by some giggles from both of the girls. Hongki took a glance at his watch. 11.34 pm and this guy is already out of his mind? Hongki shook his head and patted Jonghun's cheek, "I'm gonna go grab some drink." and then he walked pass them heading to the bar.

"Scotch on the rocks please." Hongki ordered to the bartender as he sat on the stool. Just after he heard the bartender's 'Coming!' reply, he felt something hit his shoulder.

"Ugh, sorry... My bad..." said the person who was having a hard time trying to sit on the stool beside him. Hongki didn't bother to reply. Tsk, so many stupid drunkheads tonight, he thought.

As the person successfully sat on the stool, she got her elbows on the table and put her head on her hands. "Can I have a shot please?"

"What do you want?" the bartender responded her.

"Anything you wanna give me for free..."

Hongki couldn't help but took a peek at the owner of the angelic voice beside him. It was a young girl. A pretty young girl, who was also pretty overdressed for her age. He was sure enough she wasn't even legal to enter the club.

"Nah, I'm sorry but you have to pay for it, young lady." answered the bartender he before left the girl to serve another clients. The girl growled and rolled her eyes at the disappointing reply.

Hongki couldn't help but scoffed at the scene he just watched. The girl turned her head to him. "What?!"

She seemed offended so Hongki quickly replied with a simple "Nothing." He didn't want to deal with drunk girls. Even though he thought that she's very beautiful and tempting, but the fact that she might be like 12 or something made him uninterested.

Hongki turned around, leaning on the bar and started scanning the whole club from his stool with a glass on his hand. He enjoys watching people at the club. There were always funny scenes that could make him laugh. People making fool of themselves everywhere. Hongki used to be one of those fools, but since Kim Heechul entered the army he barely got wild everytime he went to a club. He just sits around with drink in right hand and a girl in the other hand. He thought that a club is not that fun without his special hyung. Oh how he missed him so much.

Hongki spotted some of his friends danced crazily on the dance floor. He also saw some other familiar people and some strangers with beautiful faces. Everytime he made an eye-contact with a girl, they would send him a wink which he'd reply with a killer smirk.

And before he realized it, his glass was already empty. He called the bartender for another glass and saw the girl beside him was resting her head on the bar. She must be dead-drunk already.

Just then, a bartender came to her and gave her a glass of liquor. "This is from the guy right there." said the bartender, pointing at a guy in his thirties who sat on a booth not far from the bar. Hongki took a look at 'the guy' and recognized him, meanwhile the girl grinned happily as she waved and winked at the guy who gave her a drink.

"Don't drink it." Hongki whispered to the girl.

"What?"

"I said don't drink it."

"And why is that?" The girl was getting annoyed, being told what to do from a total stranger.

"He put something in it."

The girl rolled her eyes. "Yeah right."

"Listen kiddo, I'm just being nice here. He's a regular, I've seen him drugged drinks and give it to stupid drunk girls like you for many times. You better not drink it if you don't want to end up losing your oh-so-precious ity by riding that old man tonight."

The girl's eyes went wide for a lot of reasons. Her drunk face got even redder from anger.

"First of all, don't call me kiddo. Second of all, I might be drunk but I'm not ing stupid. And lastly, how dare you talk about my ity! Geez, manner please."

Hongki chuckled at her cute response. Damn, she talks really fast.

"Let's get real, what are you, 15?"

"I'm 20."

"Huh, yeah right."

"18."

Hongki raised his eyebrow at her.

"Geez! Do I really look that young?" asked her in disbelief. Hongki laughed and stood up.

"Well you know what, I guess it's time for little kids to go home and sleep." he said as he preparing to leave. The girl on the other hand didn't want him to be the one who left her all alone in this embarassing scene, so she also stood up, took the drink that they had been arguing about and chugged it all in one shot.

"Well guess what old man, I might be 16 but you're not my father!" and so she left. Hongki could only shake his head.

"Tsk, kids these days."
