Ignorance Is Bliss
November 26th

Gym bag in his left hand while a wide smile painted his face, the man wearing a Dobok skipped happily down the corridor. The Senior hummed an unknown tune as he went on his way, giddy for vacation. With the main doors within reach, the chubby faced male held his hand out to clasp the cold metal handle.

"Oppa?" A husky female voice came from behind him just before he could get a grip on his freedom.

Upon turning around and noticing the lone blonde dressed in the same Tae Kwon Do uniform as him, the brunet's brow's raised in wonder. "Hyeon-Ah, what's wrong?" He jutted his thumb over his shoulder as if he was in a hurry. "I was just about to lea-"

Rolling her neck, the female wiggled her index finger towards the ceiling. "You didn't hear the message over the intercom, did you?"

"What message?" He asked, clearly clueless about the notification.

Shaking her head at the ditziness, InHyeon handed over the envelope that was identical to the one she'd received earlier. "Along with your name, two others were called over the intercom by The Prince." She explained as she watched him carefully peeled back the flap of the envelope. "I thought you might have been off in your own world considering the day you’ve had, so I picked it up for you." Waiting with her hand on her hip, the newest victim's junior watched for a change in his ever-present bright expression.

Kim MinSeok was also a Sport Science Major, and InHyeon's favourite Senior, which is the reason why she'd gone out of her way to deliver the Devil’s mail. He was always so cheerful and treated his juniors like equals, unlike a lot of the other older students. He really was one of the most placid people she knew. It made her want to see if he'd snap at the bad timing and Hulk-Smash the nearest wall.

"That's three of us so far..." MinSeok glanced up with a look of worry. "You don't know who el-" He stopped speaking when the blonde held up a matching teal slip. "Oh..."

Shoving the obviously expensive invitation back into her bag like she was trying to hide trash, the blonde grumbled in irritation. "Park ChanYeol, Shin KiSe, Shin JangMi, and JunMyeon have also been tagged, that I know of."

"Usually students don't know each other." He pouted his lips and furrowed his brows as he tried to think about the strangeness of it.

The slightly taller female shuffled towards her company and slapped him on the shoulder. Shrugging when he looked her in the eye, InHyeon smirked. "Don't hurt yourself."

Downcast and suddenly solemn as if he'd remembered something important, MinSeok's grip on the strap of his bag tightened. "There's a tournament coming up."

InHyeon already knew about that but she didn't want to be the first to mention it. It was MinSeok's final year, meaning it was the last time that he'd be able to compete for the team he'd grown so at home with. They, too, had accepted him with open arms and made him their new Captain after the previous one had retired in order to study for his final exams before graduating. Some said it was because their previous Captain was a sadist with a need to push his underlings; InHyeon said it was because MinSeok deserved it. The man worked harder than anybody she knew, both with his school work and his job, but most of all, he was always trying to improve himself and their team. Squashing the morbid thoughts from her mind, the blonde bumped her shoulder with her company's. "ChanYeol got called away; let's go for a drink before gets real bad.”

MinSeok smiled at first but then a frown took over and he shook his head. "Alcohol destroys muscle tone."

Slinging her hold-all over her right shoulder, the blonde threw her other arm around MinSeok's neck. "Yes, genius, I know; we're taking the same course."

Slowly uprooting his feet from the slick linoleum in front of the main exit, the brunet hummed. Peeking up with a gummy smile, the Senior quirked a brow. "I suppose one or two won't hurt."
