Sugar Coated Luhan
Jjeolbae's P.O.V.
4:00 A.M.
Aish. What Luhan was saying was not real, right?
It's....akward around him. What am I gonna do now?
I was sitting on the couch, watching some tv shows.
Then Luhan came.
My reflexes urged me to stand up. I walked normally
afterwards.
"Avoiding me, aren't you? But we share the same room. You
can't do that." He said to me. That statement made me
chill.
"BABO!" I shouted. He just smirked. This person's such a
mystery.
"Woi, Jjeolbae!" He stood up. I rolled my eyes and continue
walking towards the kitchen.
He grabbed my arm.
"I'm just kidding." He said.
"I know." I replied.
"Oh. Is that so? So...are we ok now?" He asked. I nodded in
approval.
"Wait for me here." He said to me.
He went upstairs as I waited. I wondered what it is about.
Then, he went down holding a box. I saw rose embellishments
in it.
"Here. For you. D-don't waste it, okay?" He said.
"What are you, a girl?" I said and laughed.
"Alright." I continued as I opened the box.
" Eat it in the dining table. " He said to me.
"Alright." I said as he followed me. I sat down on the
table as he sat across me.
"Hey, why are you here?" I asked him.
"I wanna see your reaction, omma~ " He said sweetly. Ah
whatever. I thought he was cool?
I scoffed in disbelief, and opened the box fully. Then, I
saw my name on the chocolate.
"Wait...you made this?" I asked him.
He nodded cutely.
"Hey. Don't be cute. You're not a child anymore." I
reacted.
"So does it mean that I'm cute?" He asked me playfully.
"No. Just feeling cute." I said and chuckled.
Then, I ate it.
....
It's delicious. But it's burnt.
Am I the boy here? It's upside down. Aish.
"How was it?" He asked me seriously. A while ago, he was
somehow cheerful. Now it's like Kris' cold atitude. He
rested his cheeks on his hands while looking at me.
To match his attitude, I changed into a cold one too.
I just nodded. I don't wanna spoil his feelings.
I saw the shop he came in too. I've tried one for myself
but burnt it.
He grabbed one and ate it.
He paused.
"Don't eat it anymore." He said.
"It's fine. It's delicious, anyway." I replied to him.
Not yet valentine's. It got early.

I only ate three letters. The letters left were 'Jjeol'.
"I'll reserve some for later. I promise I won't throw it
away." I said.
Then, he handed a weird small box to me.
"Here." He said.
I opened it and found.... a ring.
"Just wear it everyday. If I see you're not wearing that
for one day, you're gonna receive a punishment from me.
Don't worry.We're not gonna get married..." He said and
paused.
"YET." he continued and stood up. Then, he went outside the
room.
Aaaaish. I felt defeated.
I rested on the table. I am still holding the ring. It said
"Luhan".
I stood up and wore the ring. He might do what he did
yesterday. I closed the box and placed it on the fridge.
I'm still gonna go to school now.
I took a bath and wore my uniform.
As I went down, I saw that Mrs. Lu have already prepared
breakfast for us. Luhan was already at the table.
"Come here Jjeolbae. Eat up!" She said.
I nodded and took a seat. We woke up earlier that Mrs. Lu
that's why I got to eat chocolates.
I ate food but only a bit. I stood up just as Luhan
finished his.
"We're going. " Luhan said.
As we exited the door, we waved goodbye to Mrs. Lu.
Luhan was beside me and I noticed a ring on his hand, just
like mine. I paused by the sidewalk.
"Can I see that?" I asked him curiously.
He wore it off and gave it to me. Then, I saw letters
engraved in it.
"Jjeolbae."
"Aish. I'm going crazy." I exclaimed.
Then, we continued walking.
We reached the school at six thirty.
Park Shin and Hyun Ah welcomed me.
"Annyeong!" Park Shin said.
"Hey, Is that Luhan you're with?" They asked.
I nodded.
"Let's go." I said.

Classes have started, and the teacher discussed.
After discussing, he explained an activity to us.
"So, Christmas is coming, isn't it?" The teacher said.
Then, my classmates cheered. I took a glance at Luhan but
only saw him listening attentively.
"Christmas ball is heeereee!" He shouted.
The students started murmurs.
"So, you're gonna pick a partner. Since Kai transferred
schools in Seoul, we'd just be 44 in this class. 22 girls
and 22 boys. Just exact. Awesome." Sir Minho said.
"Then, I, your P.E. teacher, would grade your movements in
the ball. That counts as your project." He said.
"Alright. Goodbye." Sir Minho said. We said goodbye too.
I saw a few girls gigling and all of them went to Luhan's
table.
I stayed in my desk and drew random things.
"Sorry, I've already got a date." Luhan said.
"Jinja? Whooo?" The girls asked.
"It's a secret." He said.
"And by the way." Sir Minho said. While going back to our
room.
"The prom queen and king would receive five points bonus in
the exams. So better get a good dancer." he continued.
Some of the boys quickly approached me.
"Hey, can I be your partner?" Trevor asked me.
I'm not close with him. He even throws paper on me.
"I'm not sure if I should go. " I replied.
" But if you go, who's gonna be your partner?" They asked.
"No priorities yet. I've got nothing set in my mind." I
answered.
"Oh. But just approach us, kay?" They said and left.

Recess
I grabbed my packed lunch and ate it in the desk. Park Shin
and Hyun Ah were asked by Chen and Xiumin, respectively.
Then, I saw Luhan going near me.
"Got a date yet?" He asked me.
I shook my head.
"Oh. Think I'm gonna ask you?" Luhan replied. He's playing
with me again. He even felt the urge to give me a ring.
He's playing with me, after all.
I was pretty annoyed. And somehow, hurt.
"Aniyo." I said.
"So, why did you reject them? I'm going with Jee Soon, by
the way." He replied.
Why is he like this? Such a sugar coated man. He's just
playing with me, after all.
"I've got someone set in my mind too." I replied. I know
just who to ask.
Then, a group of girls screamed outside. Then, Kris entered
our room. It's recess that's why only a few people were
present.
"Lock the doors." He said. I closed the doors, and gave him
water.
"Here." I said to him.
He quickly drank it and rested in a chair.
"Woah. That was close." He said. So cool.
"Got your prom date yet?" I asked him.
He shook his head.
"How about you?"
"Me too. People are boring. They've got no fun at all." I
said as I sat beside him.
"I get you. Let's show them who deserves to be the prom
king and queen. " He said as he smirked.
"That's a deal." I said.
Then, we made a brofist.
Luhan's P.O.V.
I was looking at them in the background.
My plan failed. I thought I could make Jjeolbae jealous.
There, she was. Taken. My chance failed.
Ah. I know. I'll just make her jealous when the ball comes.
She's pretty hard to get. I thought I even softened her
heart towards me. But it keeps on freezing.
The chapter's pretty confusing, right? I'm preparing this
for the Christmas special.
I didn't knew why. I kept on thinking about Kris on this
chapter.
