Hello Mr. Notebook, Chanhee’s here to write in you again! This chapter, I’ll continue where I off. I ran away from home because I learned that my Appa would be leaving for the military, and Byunghun found me and comforted me.
Fifth Grade (Year 2007):
“Where are we going?” I asked Byunghun, who stood up from the bench and held out his hand for me to hold on to.
“I’m taking you home.”
“No Hyung, I don’t want to go home.” I stopped at my place and pouted my lips, and Byunghun gave me stern look.
“Yes Chanhee, I’m taking you back.” His tone of voice was more controlling and assertive. He was practically dragging me with him before I pulled on his arm.
“Byung, don’t make me go!” I yelled before I began crying again. I can’t help it, I cry a lot like a little girl, I’m just sensitive.
Byunghyun wrapped his arms around me in a warm comforting hug, patting my back to make me stop crying. “Chanhee, don’t cry.” He said softly.
“I’m sorry I yelled at you.” I said whimpering, feeling so guilty. “I didn’t mean to.”
He placed both hands on my shoulders. “It’s okay. You can tell why you don’t want to go back.”
“Well, I’m afraid that when I get home, my parents will yell at me, and Woohee will make fun of me.”
“Listen Chanhee, When your Appa called, he was crying, and so was your Umma. Even Woohee was crying too, she said she wants her little brother back.”
