Ninth Grade (Year 2012):

“Chanhee-yah, are you ready?”

I heard a familiar voice calling my name sweetly from the other side of the front door, along with the ringing of the doorbell. I practically smiled in the inside because I knew it was Byunghun.

He had asked me if I wanted to hang out on Saturday night, and of course I could never say no to him. It was now Saturday and I haven't finished prepping myself because I wanted to look good for him, even though this wasn’t a date. I can imagine though.

“Just one second!” I called out as I finished buttoning my shirt and then proceeded  to open the door.

Then a tall and handsome blonde boy was standing in front of me. He was wearing dark blue button shirt which looked a little tight on him with his muscles trying to bulge out, black skinny jeans and an expensive blue pair of Jordans.

His style would always be the opposite of mine, as he always wore dark colors and I wore light colors. I was wearing a light blue shirt and a white pair of skinny jeans.

“Hey!” We practically both said to each other simultaneously, and just laughed it off.

“Yah, I told you I was coming in thirty minutes and you’re still not ready?” He

questioned my while raising an eyebrow at me.

“Mianhae, I care a lot about my looks. Not as much as you do.” I stuck my tongue out at him and he playfully punched me on the side.

“I’m not that crazy about my looks!” He defended himself.

“What explains the mirror that’s always in your pocket?” I asked him, crossing my arms.

“It’s never wrong to check on yourself. Wouldn’t it be weird to walk around and not aware that you have ice cream on your face?” I just laughed hearing his excuse as I sat down and began putting on my shoes.

“Hehehe, whatever you say Hyung.”
