Fifth Grade (Year 2007):
It was wednesday, which meant that Byunghun’s birthday is tomorrow, and I need to get him a birthday present. But it can’t be just any ordinary present, I want it to be awesome. That’s why, I have Niel to accompany me with my journey to find the best birthday present ever!
Niel’s Appa drove us to the mall, so there are many different options for gifts to choose from. There’s still a problem here, I have no idea what he likes. Does he like electronics? Clothes? Food?AH!!!!!
“Niel hyung, what should I get?” I turned to my best friend, who was biting into a hotdog he bought at the food court.
“Idunno.” He said with food in his mouth.
“Hmmm. Hotdog, and sausage lips…. You are what you eat. Hahaha!” I laughed at the clever joke I made and Niel lightly punched my side.
“I told you not to call me that!” He said while touching his lips, I couldn’t help but giggle. “Yah, respect your older!” He was about to hit me.
“I’m sorry, but I don’t listen to my olders.” I stuck my tongue out at him.
“Ahhhh, you’re just like Ricky.”
“Am not!”
“Whatever!” We continued walking until we stumbled upon a store that specialties in stuffed animals and stuff like that. “Hey Channie, let’s go in here. Maybe we can find a present here.”
“Ummm, I’m not sure. He might think that I’m a little baby if I get him a stuffed animal.” Judging from Byunghun’s tough, but nice image, he doesn’t seem like a person that would like stuffed animals.
“Come’on! let’s just check.” He walked in right before I followed him in. I looked around, making a good observation for what the store has to offer. anBut everything I see is, romantic stuff.
