Ninth Grade (Year 2011):
Me and Byunghun walked out of the school and towards his car. It was raining, so he pulled his umbrella out to protect us from getting hurt.
Byunghun, being the gentleman he is, opens the door for me while I try not to blush like an idiot. He puts his keys in and starts the car.
So does Chinese food sound good?” Byunghun asked me, and I just nodded shyly.
Why do I feel so shy in front of Byunghun? I’ve known this guy for five years, and we’ve been through a lot together. Everytime he talks to me I feel intimidated. Maybe it’s because he knows my secret now.
After a few minutes, Byunghun breaks the awkward silence. “So do you want to do anything after lunch? I was thinking today we could hang out the entire day.” He says as he controls the steering wheel.
“Uhhhh… yeah. That sounds fun.” A whole day with my crush, who knows that I’m gay, that sure does sound like fun.

As we got to the Chinese restaurant, the two of us are seated at a small table and are given menus. I looked around as I was amazed at the see-through fish tank on one side of the wall. I been here tons of times, but I just get easily amazed.
“Looks like somebody wants to order fish.” Byunghun teased me as I looked at the fishies.
“Hehe, I was just looking at the fishies. I want to eat noodles.” I said shyly then his my face in the menu.
“Whatever you want, today is just me and you.” He said, and luckily he didn’t see my cheeks turn red.
