Fears
Anastasia: Cries of the Stage
“MIN!!!!!”
A familiar voice was waking her up, shaking her rather roughly but with an urgency.
She squinted as she slowly opened her eyes…and the first thing she saw was the man in front displaying a full spectrum of worry, fear, panic and concern.
“Gikwang?” She whispered, unable to identify the man due to the harsh blinding of the light that was making her squint.
“Is that you?” She mumbled rather incoherently. The shaking stopped. “Please come back to me. I am sorry.” She muttered those words before falling back into another state of unconsciousness.
Min felt a splash of cold water on her face, making her instantly wake up from the coldness of the water.
“Min!” The man hugged her rather tightly. “I am glad you are okay. I am so sorry I left you behind.”
Yoseob…
He pulled out to face Min and Min took that moment to see how extremely panic and fear ridden he was.
“I just heard a scream when I was outside and I rushed inside only to see you collapsed on the stage.”
Min felt the fear come back again.
The voice…the breeze…the darkness.
She crept in tighter into Yoseob’s embrace.
“Y-Yos-seob…I am s-scared.” She mumbled as she felt hot tears rolling down her cheeks making Yoseob even more alarmed as to what had happened. But he said nothing and simply let his arms wrap around the crying figure that was seeking comfort in him.
“Please don’t leave me.” She whispered in his chest.
Never…never would he leave her. He would always be there for her.
“C-can…I s-stay with you? J-Just f-for to-n-night?” Min stuttered. On another occasion, Yoseob would find it cute because it was such a contrast to her bold character. But seeing her in such a helpless state that was the least of his concerns.
“You can.”

“Min, if you are okay if enough…could you tell me what happened?” He asked as he handed her a mug of hot chocolate.
Min did not say anything. She simply stared at a fixed point ahead of her. Unknowing that Yoseob was patiently waiting for her to take the mug from his hands.
“Min?” He called out softly.
“Yes?” She snapped out and faced him.
“Here. I made this for you.” He held out the mug even more.
“Thanks.” She quietly took the mug from his hands and sipped it slowly.
Yoseob watched her from the other couch he was sitting on. She was scared. She was in a daze of fear and panic. He had never seen such a vulnerable side of her. Obviously something happened in the theatre.
“Min…” She looked up from her mug. “What happened in the theatre?” He asked softly, not wanting to stir any horrible event she could have possibly encountered.
“The lights went off.” Min’s voice was expressionless. “I am scared of the darkness.”
