Many words were floating around. Min was in daze.

She got selected.

She saw Bae smiling warmly at her from a distance, giving her a thumbs up. She saw Kai giving his trademark smirk, but the applaud was seen through it. She saw Chanyeol clapping happily, grinning wildly at her new role of Anastasia.

She did it.

She should make a special effort to thank Kai for recommending her name to Yoseob. Maybe he wasn’t as cocky as she thought he was.

“Well done unnie. You were great.” There was soft, sad voice. Her face softened when she saw Suzy’s dejected face. As much she would try to convince herself that she did not want the role, her greed and want to have the spotlight overpowered her, not allowing to back out from the role she was given.

The role she earned.

“Thanks.” Those were the only words she managed to speak. Suzy did not say anything after that. She simply walked away, not wanting anyone to see her in the state of depression and loss. Min could only helplessly watch her walk away, feeling the guilt slowly creep up her spine.

“Thanks.” Min blushed at the comment. People often told her that she acted well, that she danced well…singing was new a new compliment to her.

“I would like to compose a few songs using your voice…if you would not mind.” He nervously chuckled.

“Uhh…sure. Of course.” She was at a loss of words.

But she liked the feeling. It was a nice feeling.

Min stepped on the stage. She took a deep breath and opened her eyes. She let Anastasia sink deep into her bones, into her blood, into her veins. She wanted to feel Anastasia before practice.
