Fate Sealed
Anastasia: Cries of the Stage
“Gikwang…you are Haemon.”
“I am.”
“You lied to me.”
“I did.”
“Why?”
“Because I love you.”
“So?”
“And I want you for myself.”
Min did not say anything. Gikwang was emotionless in front her. There was no guilt, no sadness, no depression, no anger, no happiness…nothing at all. Just emotionless.
“And you will do anything to get me?”
“Anything…”
“Did you hurt my grandmother?”
Min noticed that Gikwang hesitated to answer. There was a pause of conflict.
“I did.”
Anger was boiling inside her. He hurt her, he hurt her. He ing hurt her!
“Why?”
Another pause, another moment of conflict.
“Because I love you. And I want you for myself.” Min was taken aback at the response. Gikwang was still emotionless in front of her.
“And what would happen if I love Yoseob?”
“He would be hurt.” He answered casually, startling Min even more.
Haemon is the curse.
Min bit her lip. Her conversation with Gikwang lingered in her mind. Yoseob had left to the theatre, wanting to talk to Bae about postponing the play. Min didn’t say anything when he left, in fact she somewhat needed the space.
Space and air to think.
Pieces were coming together now.
