Prologue: The Beginning of Us

The earth, the sun, and the moon – they all work together and keep each other in balance, don’t they?

We met on the first day of fall.

If you ask any given person how they met their first love, they would sit back and laugh a little and probably reminiscence about the time when they were so foolishly and innocently in love. But if you were to ask me, I would probably frown and remember how cold and windy it was that day. Unlike many others, we didn’t share a sheepish smile across the room, nor did we accidentally bump into each other in the street. Our first encounter was anything but ordinary – it began with my attempt of committing suicide.

Had my attempt been any other day, I don’t think I would have lived to tell this story – the story where we were different, where we were always walking on a fine line, where it only took one tiny push to push us off the margins forever.
