My mouth dropped open as my body froze from shock, what did he just say?

"Wha..?" I trailed.

"I said I love you Dara." He clutched me tighter and buried his face into my neck.

I felt his tears drip onto my skin and soak the collar of my shirt, his body trembled as he cried harder than I have ever seen him before. I shook my head confused but my body responded nevertheless and I found my arms cradling him and gently his hair.

He pulled back and grasped me by the shoulders with so much urgency I almost fell back.

"Say it again, please say it again!" He whispered.

"I-I love you?" I said uncertaintly.

He closed his eyes and a happy smiled played on his lips as his whole contanence brightened. I pinched my eyes at his sudden mood swing, is he okay?

My hands flew to my mouth and I stepped back, eyes wide open in complete and utter shock. It can't be true! It can't be true! It's lies!

He touched my hand and I flew back against the elevator like a cat startled by a vacuum cleaner. He frowned and tried to take another step towards me but I flinched back. Arms spread and keeping my back against the metal wall I inched my way towards the door while keeping a wary eye on him.

I picked up the bag I dropped when he hugged me and held it out like a shield as I made it to the door, finally there I bowed to him repeadetly.

"I'm sorry but I can't accept you're feeling right now! Sorry!" I yelped before turning tail and running for the exit.
