"You okay?" Taemin asked as you both were halfway through your dance practice the next day. You looked at him and smiled. "Yeah."

"So, what happened yesterday?" He asked curiously while taking a seat beside you. "Did you talk to him?" You nodded solemnly. Taemin frowned. "Why the sad face?"

You sighed heavily before turning to him. "We're.. We're just friends." 

"You didn't tell him the truth?" He frowned harder as you shook your head slowly. "Why didn't you?"

"He's probably with Sekyung eonni now. You saw them didn't you?" You whined childishly, making him groan and roll his eyeballs.

"Now you're being just as dumb as Jonghyun hyung. You're assuming that he's with Sekyung noona just like how he assumed that you were with Minho hyung. Don't you see?"

You blinked at him, quite surprised at his words. He had never called you dumb before. But when you thought about it, he was actually right. And even Jonghyun didn't admit that he was dating Sekyung. Though at the same time, you were scared.

"Look, you should tell hyung what you really feel. Go tell him that you love him. Don't repeat the same mistake you did before." He advised you while you just stared blankly at the wall, thinking deeply about his words before suddenly turning to him. "How come you suddenly seem so wise?"

Taemin chuckled. "You think so? I don't know. Maybe cause I just know how it feels to miss your chance with someone you love." You looked at him, your eyes slightly wide. "You do?"

"Yeah, sort of. The only difference with me is, I never got to tell her that I loved her till the end." He said, hiding his face a little.

"Why?" You asked, making him smirk down at the floor. 

"Because she loved someone else." Then he looked at you and smiled sweetly. "And if we love someone, we let them go."

Your heart sank. Suddenly you felt a pang of sadness hit you as you looked him in the eye. "That's..sad.." You muttered apologically while looking at his twinkling eyes. But he shook his head. "Nah, it's not really. I'm happy that she's happy, so it's fine." Then he turned to you. "You better make the right choice, okay?" 

You nodded and flashed him an appreciative smile just before your dance trainer came in again. Time to dance.

You stirred your coffee slowly back in your own apartment, expecting a ring at your doorbell anytime soon. As you took a small sip, your eyes moved up to the other coffee filled cup just across the table from you, still hot. 

Jonghyun had just finished SHINee's vocal recording session at the SM building and he just got out from the building when he noticed your message.

'Oppa, I made coffee. Let's talk. :)'

Then scrolling down, he realized that the message was received 20 minutes ago. 'Damn!' He thought. 'She must be waiting for me.'

Your doorbell rang and you couldn't help but sigh in relief. Thank god he came. "Hi oppa." You greeted as he walked in with his simple clothes. "Sorry I'm late. I just got your message." He said, looking at you with his puppy eyes. Telling him that it was fine, you gestured him to sit down while taking both your coffee cups into the kitchen; his cup to be put into the microwave for heating up, and your cup to be refilled.

"So, I just wanted to talk about..uh.." You suddenly stopped, realizing how awfully dumb you sounded. 'I just wanted to talk about our argument yesterday. You see, I didn't have the courage to tell you this before, but now I think you should know. I love you oppa.' You thought before scolding yourself mentally on how stupid your sentence was.

Jonghyun tilted his head slightly while placing the coffee cup on to the table from his mouth. "About?" 

"Um, about.. Life." You said, smiling brightly so that your entire set of teeth could be seen. "I mean, how's things going on so far? I feel like we haven't talked for ages." 'I'm so dumb' your mind scolded yourself again.

"Oh, uh." He started, holding his cup with both hands as if he was trying to warm himself. "Life's okay. Nothing much has changed." His voice sounded a little off tone, as though he was expecting a different question. 'Maybe he was.' You thought.

"Song arrangements, choreography, vocal practice.." You suggested him to explain about, but only managed to receive simple answers like, 'it's fine'. 

The air between the two of you started to get awkward. In fact, it felt awkward to be in an awkward situation, especially with your close friend. You both silently sipped your coffee and placed the cups down at the same time.

"How is she?" You surprised yourself when you asked him the question. He frowned. "I meant Sekyung eonni." You continued. "You met her yesterday, right?"

"Oh. Sekyung-ssi is fine. She's working on her latest movie now. Might be aired next year or something." He replied rather bluntly. 

"Oh." You managed. Suddenly the thought of Sekyung and him made you tense up. Jealousy. "And what were you two talking about?" You asked, this time your tone more threatening than the tone before. Jonghyun grinned.

You often teased Jonghyun as dumbhyun, especially whenever he goes into his fit of blurriness. He is always naïve and clueless about most things around him. But, if there was one thing he knew best about, it was about you. He knows when you are happy, he knows when you are sad. He feels when your angry. He could read your face expression like it was a child's book. He understands you more than anyone else could ever in a hundred years. 

"Are you jealous?"

At that moment, you felt a sharp bullet rip through you chest. 'Damn you. That was so straightforward!' You screamed in your head. Your body tensed up and you felt yourself blushing. Jonghyun's grin grew wider. "Are you?"

"Wha..What are you talking about?" You defended, looking down to cover your face. "I just asked what you guys talked about."

"Your face asked differently."

"My face doesn't talk."

"Yes, it does."

"Okay, now you're not making sense, oppa." You squinted your eyes at him, making him laugh. "Forget it." You finally gave up and got up, taking both your cups to take to the kitchen, still squinting your eyes at him. "Hey." He suddenly said, holding your wrist as you took his cup. "Me and Sekyung. We're just friends."

"Okay." You muttered faintly, looking away as a small pang of sadness flew over you. You couldn't help but think that he might just be lying. Or maybe he's telling you that because he dosn't want you to know that he actually has feelings for her. Whatever the reason, you didn't want to know.

He watched you're eyes as they looked everywhere else but at him. Still not letting go of your wrist, he frowned. "Then what's wrong?"

'Everything is wrong.' You thought. 'Everything in every way is so wrong, only because you can't see how I really feel for you.' You didn't say anything, but just kept quiet, slowly trying to tug your hand away from his grasp.

Suddenly he got up and stood right in front of you, forcing you to look at him. "_____-ah, why are you like this suddenly?" He asked sadly, putting his arms around you in a hug. "I said I was sorry. Are you still mad at me?"

You remained silent. Then he pulled back from you and looked into your eyes that were already tearing. "Please say something." He pleaded. "I don't want to see you sad anymore."

"I don't either." You finally spoke, your voice cracking between words. "I.. I just.." You stuttered as he waited patiently for you to finish your sentence. "I just want to.. I want you to know.. I.. I.." Then you stopped. You couldn't bring yourself to say anything else. It was too hard.

You looked down, silent.He lowered his head down to look at your face, his face expression softened. "Jagiya." He whispered. Astonished, you look up and your eyes meet his.

"Saranghae..."
