Leaving Him
Running to Happiness with SecretsSungyeol shifts left and right, waking up alone on the fluffy bed.
“, my head hurts.” Sungyeol blurts out in pain. “What happened to that idol kid?”
Sungyeol rolls over to the left and bumps into something with his head. He tries to find the object by moving his hands around the surface of the bed. He grabs the object and brings it closer to his face. It was a cell phone. Sungyeol unlocked the phone. Weird. There was no password on it. After the phone was unlocked he found a note on the home screen reading,
“Hey dork, you were pretty damn drunk last night, so I took you here. I have to go back home now, keep my phone for now so I can contact you.”
-Myungsoo
“Dork? Who is he calling a dork?” Sungyeol looks at the clock on the phone. It was nine forty in the morning and he was supposed to be at work by ten.
“Holy ! I’m screwed! I’m screwed!”
Sungyeol quickly puts on his shoes and bolts out of the hotel. By the time Sungyeol arrives at the book store it was already five past ten.
“Sorry I’m late,” he says to Nara.
“It’s okay Youngsoo –goon, we have our days. Did you drink last night? You reek of alcohol.”
“Yah, I’m really sorry, I’ll try to wash up somehow later during lunch.”
“This should do the job for now then,” Nara sprays a generous amount of air freshener onto Sungyeol.
“Thank you.” Sungyeol sniffs himself, he smells citrus fresh.
“I’ll leave you here on your own for now, I have an important meeting to attend this morning I’ll be back by lunch.” Nara waves good bye to Sungyeol.
“Okay, see you, boss.”
Sungyeol receives a text a few moments after Nara leaves the store.
“Did you wake up yet?”
It was obviously from Myungsoo. Sungyeol was bored despite the fact he had boxes of books to load onto the shelves.
“Who are you? This is the receptionist at the front desk, it seems like you have forgot your phone, sir.” (Outgoing message)
“This is my phone. Please hold on to it while I send a representative to pick it up. Thank you very much.” (Incoming message)
“Okay, .” (Outgoing message)
“Lee Youngsoo, you jerk. I totally saved your last night.” (Incoming message)
“Too bad, I don’t remember anything from last night, well except for that hot guy.” (Outgoing message)
“Hot guy!?! How can you say that? He tried to you.” (Incoming message)
“You can’t the willing.” (Outgoing message)
“Okay then, next time I’ll just leave you there to die.” (Incoming message)
“Aww, you wouldn’t do that! You’re too nice.” (Outgoing message)
“Only to you stupid.” Myungsoo says out loud to his screen.
“….What are you doing right now?” Myungsoo sends to Sungyeol.
“I’m at work, stop texting me. Shouldn’t you be at work too?” (Outgoing message)
“The filming crew is getting ready and it seems like the interviewer is running late. Where do you work?” (Incoming message)
“I’m ignoring you now.” (Outgoing message)
Sungyeol puts down the phone and opens a box of books, sighing. He continues to unpack the books, organizing them onto the shelves for the next two hours.

“Myungsoo, hurry up the interviewer is already here. What happened to your phone?”
“I lent it to a friend of mine.”
“Your personal one? The one that you don’t even let people touch? You lent it out?” His manager asks as if the world was coming to an end.
“Yup.” Myungsoo smiles and heads over to the interviewer.”
“Hello, I’m Park Minhee, nice to meet you.” The interviewer bowed.
“Hello, I’m Kim Myungsoo, also known as L.”
“You’re very handsome in person.” The girl blushed from saying those words out loud.
“You don’t look great yourself.” Myungsoo teases.

“I’m finally done!!!” Sungyeol stretches out his arms and slumps onto a comfortable chair. Nara walks into the store and greets Sungyeol.
“I’ve only been gone for two hours and you’re already done unpacking the books? You’re so fast!” Nara exclaims.
“I guess these long limbs have finally paid off.” Sungyeol jokes.
“Youngsoo, go on ahead and take your lunch break.” Nara gives permission to Sungyeol.
“Okay, see you later.” The tired boy walks out of the store.
“I’m starving.” Sungyeol puts a hand in his left pocket and finds his last bill. 50,000 won. “There is no way I’m using you up.” The tall boy talks to the bill. “Water will do,” He makes his way to the convenience store.
“How was it Sungyeolie?” L.joe pops out of nowhere.
“Holy crap! I’m really going to die from a heart attack if you keep this stalker thing up.” Sungyeol puts a hand over his heart.
“I’m on my lunch break too, let’s go eat!” L.joe suggests.
“Go eat with your other members. Don’t they think you’re acting weird? You’re not hanging with them.”
“Nope. I already took care of that problem.”
“How?” Sungyeol wondered.
“I told them I was interested in you and that I’m willing to do anything to get your attention.” L.joe smiles almost showing his teeth.
“What. The. .” Sungyeol stares down at L.joe, who was currently still smiling.
“I’m clever aren’t I?”
“Stupid. I would say.” Sungyeol pays for his water.
“Are you on a diet or something?” L.joe watches Sungyeol twist the cap of the bottle.
“No. I just don’t feel hungry.” Sungyeol lies.
However, Sungyeol’s stomach growls loudly just after he sips his water.
“Your stomach is suggesting something else though.” L.joe puts his ea
