Fate Perhaps?
Running to Happiness with Secrets“Lee Sungyeol!” Someone calls after the boy.
“.” Sungyeol curses under his breath.
“Lee Sungyeol is that you?” L.joe calls again
Sungyeol remains relatively calm and continues walking towards the exit.
“Wait!” L.joe runs in front of the boy and stops him from going any further.
“Uhh, sorry, but I don’t know who you are.” Sungyeol replies.
“I know it’s you. You can’t lie to me. That mole on your neck tells all.” L.joe says.
“Excuse me, but if you don’t release your hands off my shoulders in three seconds I will scream for help.”
“L.joe hyung! Hurry up! We still have an interview to go to!” Niel shouts.
“Hold on! Just give me a second!” L.joe shouts back. “It doesn’t matter if you deny it. We both know that you ARE Sungyeol. I understand that you can’t accept me back anymore, but I need you to know that I was placed in a very bad situation back in high school. Please let me explain.” L.joe grabs Sungyeol’s right hand and write’s his phone number on the back of it. “I really need to talk to you Sungyeol,” were the last words of the blonde boy.
“What the hell. That jerk wrote on my hand with a permanent marker! I’ll have to look at this for days!” Sungyeol complains.
“Damn I’m so hungry. Ugh. I need to get cheap food. Fast.”
Sungyeol walks by a bakery and a sign displayed catches his attention.
“50% off all products after 8 pm”
“Oh my god. My saviour is here!!” Sungyeol’s eyes sparkle as he stares at the sign.
The boy eventually makes his way into the store and decides to purchase a pizza bun that roughly costs him 600 won.
“Will that be all for you today sir?” the female cashier asks.
“Yes.” Sungyeol agrees to her statement.
“Are you sure you don’t want anything to drink to go with that?” the cashier asks again.
“I’ll be fine.” Sungyeol assures her.
“That will be 600 won.” The cashier says while sending death glares at Sungyeol.
The boy makes his way out the door hearing something unpleasant behind him.
“Wow, he’s dresses in brand name, yet he’s so damn cheap. I guess this is why shouldn’t judge a person by their looks.” The cashier says to her colleague.
Sungyeol continues to walk out the door and takes a deep breath.
“Stupid clothes. I should really work on my looks though. What if they actually manage to find me here?” Sungyeol looks at his outfit, Burberry dress pants and a dress shirt. “Maybe I will do some shopping, this is too much.”
Sungyeol munches on his bun while walking down to the nearest street market. He made up his mind. A pair of skinny jeans and a simple t-shirt will do.
“Ahjumma, can you sell me these pants for 8,000 won?” Sungyeol tries bargaining for the first time in his life.
“My listing price is 15,000 won, if I sell it to you for half the price, do you think I’ll make any money?” the woman tries to raise the offer.
“Yup!” Sungyeol confidently replies back with a childish smile.
“No, I won’t you nut head.” The woman says at once.
“Aww, ahjumma, you look so pretty, yet your personality doesn’t match up with your beauty.” Sungyeol tries once more adding, “Pleaseeee!”
“Only if you pick out a pair of shoes as well.” The woman sure knew how to run business.
“Ahjumma you better not scam me, how much do they cost?”
“Pick a pair of sneakers and the pants for 16,000 won.”
“Call.” Sungyeol agrees to the deal.
Sungyeol finishes with buying his things and heads to a convenience store.
“Hmmm, hair coloring. What color will look good on me? Actually, no. Something that’s completely different from this plain black blob. Oooh, #802 looks good. Alloy orange will look cool on me wouldn’t it?” Sungyeol picks up the box of hair coloring, heading towards the check out.
“Would you like a bag?” the retailer asks.
“Nope, I’m fine.” Sungyeol replies with a bright smile, exited to color his hair.
“Oppa, would you possibly like to go out for some time?” the teenage retailer asked.
“I’m seeing someone already.” Sungyeol lies, trying to avoid the young girl. “So, if you could give me my change…”
“Well, if you ever end up breaking up with her you can always try it with me.” The persistent girl adds as she gives Sungyeol his change.
Sungyeol just gives the girl a cold stare and makes a mental note to never come back to this store again. It was already very late at night, but Sungyeol still wasn’t tired yet. He also didn’t feel like his new look was complete yet. He needed physical markings that would make him look different. Like a tattoo or something.
BINGO.
Ear piercings.

“Will this hurt a lot?” Sungyeol asked the tall man with many tattoos and piercings all over his body.
“No, you won’t even feel a thing son.” The man quickly replies.
“You don’t sound really convincing you know…” Sungyeol rethinks about his plan
“Son, we can always just start wi
