Out
Running to Happiness with SecretsSungyeol was more than lost for words looking up at the two boys with umbrellas, one purple, one green.
“What- why-”
“Hey, Sungyeol…..remember us?” Dongwoo gave a little awkward wave.
How could he possibly not forget them? The ones who held him down when he was torn apart. The ones that called him “friend,” and stabbed him when he needed them the most. The “friends,” that were too scared to do the right thing and save him, instead, they listened to the evil and scarred him. They were worse than Jonghyun’s sister, because he had hope. He had faith that they would take his side. What hurt the most wasn’t the stab of the cutter, or the tailing blade that slid across his back. It was moment of truth, the realization that his closest people were willing to throw him away that easily.
“Leave me alone.” Sungyeol said in a strong and warning tone. “You don’t even have the right to say hi to me.”
Hoya and Dongwoo stood still, still shielding him from the pouring rain.
“Didn’t you hear me? I don’t need s like you two here,” the boy got off from the ground and faced them. “I won’t ever forget your actions.”
“Sungyeol, we’re sorry. We really are, we’ve done wrong and we wish we could go back in time to fix it, but it’s impossible now. Please, forgive us.”
“No,”
“Then what about Myungsoo?”
The name alerts Sungyeol, causing him to stop walking away, “What about him?”
“Don’t you care about him? Don’t you want to see him?”
“I don’t, we’re over. To be honest, we were nothing to begin with.”
“Sungyeol, let us take you to him.” Hoya pleaded
“There’s simply no need,” Sungyeol says without looking back, walking away.

Myungsoo opened his eyes to pure darkness, as if he didn’t open his eyes in the first place. He places his right hand on the side walls of his room, finding its way to the light switch. His room was a mess, chairs broken, books carelessly flung and left in the corners, and papers scatted across the floor; it was a disaster. His body shifts to the creaking sound made by his bedroom door, opening.
“Oh, you’re awake,” Sunggyu’s eyes the younger’s room state, shocked, really. “If you’re hungry, there’s some food in the fridge. The other members ate already and we’re heading out to practice.”
Myungsoo tugs the bottom of his shirt, preparing to change for practice.
“It’s fine, the managers are going to let you rest today; they’re hoping that you can clear your mind.” The younger steps back, lying back down onto his bed, flipping the covers over his body.
“Myungsoo, listen, if you keep this up, you’re only going to piss off the boss. And you should know that you’re no match to compete against him,” Sunggyu places a hand on the surface of the covers.
“Don’t touch me.”
The elder sighs and slowly walks out of the room, turning off the lights.
Myungsoo opens his eyes once again, had his life always been this dark?

Sungyeol walked all the way back to his hotel, drenched from the rain. He was greeted by an unexpected situation when he entered his room. He didn’t need to use his key card, his door was already open. The lights were ; a card had already been inserted in order to run the electricity.
“Woohyun?” He called out.
No one answered. He carefully walked inside to find no one. Was he just scaring himself? He doubled checked the closets, bathroom, behind the curtains, and even under the bed. Everything seemed to be in place, strange.
Sungyeol was about the fetch for a change of clothes when the phone rang.
“Hello?”
The line on the other end was still open. He could hear the sound of someone breathing.
“….Hello?” He waited for a reply, but the person on the end didn’t comply. He didn’t want to call out that person, but he just wanted to make
