after the whole big stage talk with the queen, jiyeon gained more attention.

some even went up to her, begging that she lose the competition, or some would ask her to win no matter what

she was trying to leave the palace since she hated wearing such an uncomfortable attire, but the guards wouldn't let her.

Sadly, today was the first round for the 20 young ladies. 

" hello miss. " a servant lady bowed to jiyeon as she was forced to stay in a room and wait for the queen's orders .

" Please get dressed into this. " the lady asked and jiyeon BURST out laughing 

" You want me to wear that?! '' She gasped as it was more eyecatching than the one she wore at the moment

'' It's suits you miss. '' The lady said

'' Please don't call me miss. My name is Jiyeon. '' She said as she felt weird that a women 3 times her aged respected her so much.

'' I'm just doing my job to serve you. '' She bowed \

'' Why must you serve me. You are older than me. I should be serving you. '' She said

'' Ani! You must not say that. How can a lowly servant like me be higher than you? '' She bowed for forgiveness

'' Aigoo ajumma. Okay. '' Jiyeon said as she went along with it

She finished dressing up and the lady stared in awe

'' Miss. You look so. so beautiful. '' The lady said and jiyeon smirked

'' What I am, is uncomfortable. How am I suppose to run in this? '' Jiyeon asked

'' Ladies don't run. They walk with elegance. ''

'' Psh Elegance.. '' She chuckled 

'' Please bring lady jiyeon out. '' Another servant knocked on the door 

'' Yeh. '' The lady servant that was serving jiyeon replied 

One by one, all girls walked out of their rooms, followed by their servants. 

10 on the side facing Jiyeon, and a total of nine in her roll 

'' Why are they staring at me? '' Jiyeon asked the lady but she didn't answer 

The girl next to her gave her an uncomfortable glare. A glared that warned her that she had no chance in winning 

'' Annyeo. '' Jiyeon lifted her right hand up and greeted her 

The girl simply smirked and Jiyeon slowly lowered her hand 

'' I guess not. '' 

A moment later, the queen had arrived 

'' Wow. Such beautiful ladies. I must say, the prettiest in Joseon. '' The queen smiled 

'' Thank you my queen. But no one can beat your radiant beauty. '' The girl next to Jiyeon said 

'' What a kiss up. '' Jiyeon whispered as she stretched out the sentence to the girl next to her but received an unwelcome stare

'' Shutup. '' She muttered 

'' My first task for you girls, is to go find something that's worth more than the king and queen itself. Something that beats the royal family. Something that's so valuable, it must be cherish. '' She said

'' Something valuable? '' Jiyeon whispered

'' Deh Miss. '' The servant said

'' You may begin.. See you here in an hour. '' The queen said and all the girls left with their servants. 

'' Miss. What should we find? '' The servant ask 

'' Nothing. I already know the answer. So adjumma, stay in the room and rest. '' Jiyeon said and ran off 

'' Miss! '' The lady called but she was already out of her sight 

Jiyeon's POV 

What a question. Why would the queen ask that if it was so easy?

I knew what to bring, but finding it would be hard

'' Where could it be? '' I sighed as I walked passed the flower garden and encountered a door. A door that led to a room. 

no one's POV

She opened it, without even knocking. Not realizing that there was someone sleeping 

'' Could it be here? '' She wondered as she opened the cabinets 

'' What are you doing? '' A monotone scary deep voice spoke as it laid a hand on her shoulder. It caused her to jump in shock 

'' A-annyeo. I didn't mean to be rude. I was just finding something. '' She said 

'' Why are you in here? '' He asked 

'' Am I not suppose to be? '' She asked and he just looked at her 

'' I'm looking for something. For the queen. '' She said and he smirked 

'' Oh. You're that girl from yesterday. '' He smirked

'' I don't know what you're talking about, but I need to find a round object. It's flat and round. '' She said 

'' A coin? '' He asked her as he looked at her as if she was stupid 

'' OMO! YES! That thing. '' She smiled and it melted his heart. Her smile was unbelievably beautiful but he snapped out of it. He knew all she wanted was fame and fortune 

'' Why a worthless coin? '' He asked 

'' A coin is not worthless. It is valuable. and I need it. Please help me find it. '' She asked 

'' If I give you the coin, will you answer me one question? '' He asked 

'' If I know the answer, I will try me best to. '' She said and he smiled. He liked her bluntness and straight forward self but he still wasn't buying it through her fake plastic heart

'' What do you think of the crown Prince? '' He asked and she looked completely lost 

'' I really don't know. I forgot how he looked like and I don't know what Kind of person he is. But I feel bad for him. His speech yesterday. In his tone of voice, I could hear him crying. It was as if he was suffering. He seemed lonely and out of place. I guess that's all I can say. ''She said and he looked deep into her eyes 

'' So you pity him? '' The guy smirked 

'' In a way. I mean, I pity myself too. And the people around here. Throughout my life, I lived without knowing the world. I barely interacted with people for the first  time this week and I must say, humans are not what I imagine. '' She said 

'' Why so? '' He asked 

'' Mianhe. I must go back. So can I please have the coin now? '' She asked 

'' Why are you in such a rush? '' He asked her 

'' I must win. So I can have all the 9 orbs. '' She said in a hurry and he Smirked 

'' Of course. It's always wanting something from you people. '' He said and she looked at him in confusion 

'' Take it. '' He dropped it down the floor before she can get it 

'' This guy. '' She glared and picked it up 

'' Who does he think he is? '' She hissed as she hurried back to the room 

After everyone had gave the queen what they think is most valuable, it was jiyeon's turn 

'' Now little miss. What have you got there? '' The queen asked 

jIYEON SLOWLY PULLED out a coin and everyone started laughing, the queen couldn't help but giggle a little as well 

'' Are you saying the queen is worthless like that coin?! '' The servant ladies by the queen shouted 

She raised up her hand to stop them from interfering 

'' Now. Tell me. Why a coin? '' THe queen asked 

'' A coin is not worthless my queen. To you and to the ones that have it all, may think it's worthless, but to the poor, it means everything. They value everything they have, even if it's just one coin. One coin, is blood, sweat, and tears to the poor.  A coin is so valuable, people will gladly give up their life for it. So compared to a coin, you my queen, mean nothing. '' She said and everyone widened their eyes 

'' HOW DARE YOU SPEAK IN SUCH LANGUAGE!! ARREST HER! '' The guards said

'' Stop. '' The queen ordered 

'' Good answer. '' She said and walked away, whispering to a servant next to her 

'' There you have it people. ROund one goes to miss Jiyeon. '' THe servant said and left 

Jiyeon was on her way walking back to the room when she tripped over a leg 

'' Ops. My bad. '' The girl smirked 

'' it's fine. '' SHe smiled 

'' Hoe pathetic. '' The girl hiss and walked away 

right when Jiyeon was about to get up, someone stepped on her hanbok 

'' Know your place you commoner. I will crush you. Don't you dare think about wearing the crown. '' The girl glared 

'' I- '' Jiyeon was cut off 

'' no. I didn't say you can speak. '' She glared and walked off

Jiyeon sighed as she stood up and dusted off her hanbok and went back into the room

'' Oh miss! You hanbok is all dirty. '' The servant dusted off her hanbok

'' It's fine. '' Jiyeon smiled

'' Sigh. You're too nice miss. '' She said

'' Aww thank you. '' Jiyeon simply smiled and the Servant lady sighed 

'' No. That's a bad thing. '' She said and jiyeon looked at her 

'' Why? I thought being nice was a good thing. '' Jiyeon said 

'' It is. But not here. Here, no one will be kind to you miss. They will think low of you and they will hate you. '' The servant said 

'' Why would they hate me? I haven't done anything bad to them. '' She said 

'' The way you stand out. The way you talk. Remember, it's a competition. And each and everyone of them wants to wear the crown. What better way to team up and target the most difficult opponent and then easily taking each other later. '' The servant said and jiyeon looked at her blankly and giggled 

'' But I'm not afraid. They don't scare me. '' Jiyeon giggled 

'' Oh miss. You should be. '' The servant sighed 

'' If anything, they should be afraid of me. '' She smiled and the Servant let out a long sigh 

'' You'll be murdered here. Why are you even here Miss? '' The servant asked 

'' I need the orbs. '' She blankly said 

'' Sigh. Suit yourself. '' The lady sighed

On the other side of town, guards were running everywhere

'' Find him! Bring him back alive, if he's dead, bring back his head! '' The high officer said and the guards nodded 

The town was lit with fire torches as everyone ran around 

'' Go first Luhan. I'll draw them away! '' Kris said 

'' I'm not leaving you in your condition! '' He shouted 

'' Yours is worse. Leave and protect the scroll! '' Kris shouted

'' But hyung! '' Luhan shouted

'' Go! Our mission is to bring the scroll back. don't fail no matter what. You must stay strong. '' Kris said and they both went in different directions 

Luhan had no strength anymore as he was shot with an arrow on the side and is bleeding tremendously

His steps became slower as he reached the palace side wall

He didn't have anywhere to go. He woulded die no matter what, so he took the risk and used all his strength to jump over the wall. Luckily there was no guards.

He started stumbling as is blood kept dripping to the floor he finally collapsed on the floor by the dorm rooms 

Luckily, Jiyeon stepped out of the room and saw him collapsed to the floor 

'' OMO! '' She gasped and glanced around 

She quickly ran to him and helped him up 

What am I suppose to do she thought. Without thinking, she quickly took him into the room 

'' AHHH!!! '' The servant lady screamed but jiyeon shut her up 

'' Shh. '' She placed a finger on her lips 

'' Please help me whip all the blood on the floor and near the door outside. '' Jiyeon asked 

'' Miss! This is treason!! '' The lady loudly whispered 

'' I don't know what that means, But please help me. This person is in danger. I just can't leave him. '' She said as she placed him on the ground 

'' Bali Adjumma! '' She whispered loudly and the lady quickly cleaned off the blood while traumatized at the same time. 

'' Oh my god.. You're losing too much blood '' Jiyeon panicked as she kept whipping off all the blood 

Without thinking once again, she quickly laid in flat down and opened up his mouth, She leaned in and placed her lips onto his and passed on half of the orb that light gave to her, to him. It was shinning bright as ever. 

It was glowly a light bluess white color. The room quickly lit up as the flash of energy bursted in the room 

Slowly, his face turned back to normal and his wounds were disappearing. 

'' Miss Jiyeon! '' The lady servant quickly ran into the room 

'' There's guards everywhere checking the rooms! '' She shouted and the two panicked 

'' Give me the towel! '' Jiyeon shouted as she stuffed it under her hanbok 

'' What about him? '' The lady asked in fear 

'' Oh right! '' She tossed and turned and quickly shoved him under her hanbok as well as she ordered the lady to turn off the candle light

'' OPEN UP! '' The guards knocked on the door and the servant lady opened up 

'' Is there anything wrong sir? '' The servant lady asked 

'' We saw a bandit run into the palace and are ordered to check everywhere until we find him '' The guard said 

'' But the lady is sleeping '' The lady said 

'' No I'm not. '' Jiyeon quickly ross up 

'' Can I help you? '' She asked as she stared deeply into the guards eyes and they widened their eyes

Her eyes turned into a bright blue color as it was glowing 

'' Nothing at all. So beautiful. '' The guards said 

'' Then please leave so I may rest. '' She asked and they nodded and quickly left 

After they left, her eyes returned back to normal 

'' Oh gosh. I feel so dirty doing that. '' She pouted as she never intended to mess with there minds. It was her first time using it and she didn't mean to either. 

'' Miss. What did you do? '' The lady servant asked 

'' I don't know? '' She said blankly

She quickly took him out of her hanbok and set him on her bed
