It was Saturday morning and 17 year old Jasmine just awoke from her slumber. Furrowing her eyebrows, she rubbed the sleep away from her eyes before taking a shower. She looked at her clock which read 10:06 am. She still had a lot of time until her date with V

"ah! That's right! I have a date!" she yelled to absolutely no one going through her closet. She laid out the decided clothes on her fixed bed and pranced downstairs to eat breakfast "good morning"

"good morning Jasmine" appa smiled giving her a plate of food

"where's oppa?" she asked sitting down at the table

"U-Kiss left earlier because they had to go to Japan. They'll be back in a few days to help you pack" umma said

"oppa told you?" Jasmine asked gaining a nod from her mother

"he also told us something about a date?" her father asked raising his eyebrow. Jasmine nearly choked on her food

"about that" the girl coughed. Deanna only looked at the scene in amusement before putting her dish in the sink

"I'm going to work now. Have fun Jaz-ah" she chuckled leaving the house

"it's okay sweetie" her umma smiled "it's about time you go on dates"

"deh?" Jasmine asked

"you're 17 already. You should be going on dates right now" appa agreed "how was Kevin's response?"

"worse than yours" she responded making her parents laugh

"alright. Finish your breakfast then get ready for your date" umma winked

"I'm not leaving until 2" she said

"still, it's best to get ready early" umma said. The young girl nodded, finishing her breakfast. She went upstairs and looked at her clock which read 11:28. Jasmine started off with curling her hair and wearing her chosen outfit. After picking out her accessories and shoes, Jasmine looked at herself in the mirror with satisfaction.

"it's pretty" her umma smiled walking into the room

"you think?" Jasmine asked facing her mother

"of course. Everything you dress in looks pretty" she said fixing her hair "so who is this boy?"

"his name is V, I went to the dance with him yesterday" Jasmine told her umma

"oh arasso. Your appa and I are going to have a date of our own later because all of you kids will be gone until late" she winked "so have fun, but not too much fun"

"you're leaving now?" Jasmine asked

"neh. We won't be back until 7 tonight, maybe even until tomorrow afternoon" umma waved leaving the room

"wah chincha. If I have another sibling because of them" she muttered looking at herself in the mirror again "is this really good enough?" Jasmine asked herself "molla, I'll call oppa"

"yeobosayo?" Kevin answered

"oppa! I need your help" Jasmine said

"wae? what did V do?" he asked

"nothing! I want to see if this outfit is okay" she smiled taking a picture and sending it to him "what do you think?"

"aigoo kyeopta" he said "but isn't that a little thin for outside? I heard that it was supposed to snow today"

"again? I thought it was supposed to be sunny today" she said

"molla. I heard that there was going to be a storm today" Kevin said "Jazzie-ah, oppa has to go. Nonetheless, good luck on your date and be careful. The others say good luck too"

"neh oppa. Do good in Japan" Jasmine said before hanging up. Waiting patiently on the couch, she received a call "yeobosayo?"

"yeobosayo? is this Jasmine?" a voice asked

"neh, nugusayo?" she asked

"it's V" he said

"oh? how'd you get my number?" Jasmine asked

"Eunji gave it to me" V answered

"oh, so what's up?" she asked coolly channel surfing the tv while eating a banana

"is it okay if I come by a bit early?" he asked

"um sure" Jasmine said

"okay thanks. I'll be there soon" V said, you could tell by his tone that he was happy

"neh" she said hanging up. After a few minutes, the door bell rang "nugusayo?"

"it's your " V said

"ppali kasayo" Jasmine chuckled before opening the door "woah"

"it started snowing a lot huh" he shivered running inside the house "looks like we'll have to stay in"

"looks like it" she said "act like you're at home so don't worry about anything"

"where's your parents? and your siblings?" he asked taking off his jacket

"my umma and appa just left. Unnie's at work and oppa's on his way to Japan. Yah, don't you have any schedules?" Jasmine asked

"at night" he said and sat down on the couch

"did you eat yet?" Jasmine asked

"aniyo" V said and her phone started ringing

"yeobosayo?" she answered "umma?"

"oh Jasmine-ah, is it snowing really hard at the house?" she asked

"neh" Jasmine answered

"well your appa and I are stuck in Busan and the car's worn down. I don't know if we'll be home tomorrow. Your unnie's staying at Jaehan's house. Are you alright at the house?" she asked

"neh umma" Jasmine said

"alright. Be safe sweetie. I gotta go" umma said hanging up. Jasmine put the phone on the counter before cooking up ramen. She kept glancing at V every 5 minutes or so only to see him watching tv.

"here's some ramen" she said bringing the pot to the table

"komawo" he smiled sliding to the floor to sit across from her

"what were we originally planning on doing?" Jasmine asked

"well, I was going to take you to an ice-skating place and then by the frozen lake, but we got snowed in" V explained

"aww it seemed like a lot of fun" she smiled

"we can go next time" he assured "but we can have fun at your house too"

"we can?" Jasmine scoffed

"deh" V nodded "we can watch movies and you know other stuff"

"what's that supposed to mean?" she raised her eyebrows, trying hard not to laugh

"nothing" he blushed "just watch movies"

"oh arasso" she nodded eating some more of her ramen
