There was no use going back home. Going back home this early means your parents are still there. You  defiantly didn't want your parents to question you why you came back. Theywould get a phone call anyway regarding your absence in school. Basically, you had no way out.

With nothing to do, you walked around and went to the mall. EXO, you're favorite group, released their first album not to long ago. Being a big fangirl of them you couldn't help but buy their album. You bought both versions. 

"Lucy? Lucy!"

You turned around to see Taemin jogging towards you. No, you didn't want to see him. You were still mad at him from the party. But you turned already looking at him, and it would be awkward to just turn back to leave. "H-hi, Taemin."

"Why aren't you in school?" 

"I didn't get there in time." You looked at the ground. You were still disappointed in yourself for being late. 

"Oh. The gates closed? Is this your first time being late?"

"Yeah."

"They usually give you a warning and let you in. Didn't they?"

You swallowed. "Well..K-Kai.."

"Oh." He didn't need to speak anymore. Of course it would be Jongin who was closing the gate today. 

The air was awkward so you asked him back his own question. "So, why aren't you in school?"

"I'm..sick." He looked up to you with a half smirk and puppy eyes. 

You couldn't help but laugh. "Sick? You don't look sick to me."
