My Dear LucyThat night you went straight home. When you entered your room Choco immediately ran to you with his tongue hanged out.
"Hey boy," you said as you knelled down to greet with your best friend. "I'm sorry for leaving you Choco. I should have said no to goin to that party." Choco tilted his head to assure you that he was listening. "I wasn't there for 15 minutes! All because of stupid Kai!" You let out a sigh. "Stupid yet charming." A smile formed on your face. "Cold but warm." Choco barked as you grabbed the sides of his face. "Choco I think I'm starting to fall for him more than I have before." Your dog your face and you giggled.
Morning arrived too fast. The birds were chirping loudly. You nearly were about to throw a book out the window to shut them up.
There came a knock on the door and you assumed it was your mother. She turned the knob and opened.
"What are you still doing in bed Lucy? You're going to be late."
"I know. I know." You mumbled under you breathe.
"Were you out last night?" Her question stinged you. "If you did, you know the consequences and you-"
"What does it matter?" Being able to get those words out of your mouth was as hard as it was to get out of your bed. "It's not like neither of you care where I go or do. Dad and you go out almost every night while I stay here. I need some time of my own too mom!"
Your mother didn't say anything but all she did was let out a sigh.
