Nineteen – Final Chapter –

 

Jessica's POV

“Jessica my princess, I'm sure that you and everyone else in this room is quite surprise about this announcement.” My

father smiled at me.

 

Heol how can he smile right now? I looked to the crowd and saw our friends. Their faces filled with shock and sadness.

Aish~ this night went from a great evening to a horrible one.. *pout*

 

“But Daddy, I..” I was about to complain but he signaled me to listen first and gave me a listen-to-what-I-have-to-say-first-

before-you-release-hellsica face.

 

So I gave him a simple nod and held onto Yoong's hand for dear life.

 

“Now, you all are probably wondering who Jessica's future husband is right?” My dad teased and everyone and I mean

everyone nodded their heads yes.

 

“Well, this guy, he doesn't really need an introduction. He and my princess here have known each other their whole lives.

He was the one protecting my daughter when the two of them were kidnapped. He was and is always by my daughter's

side whenever me or my wife are out for business. Whenever my daughter needs him, he somehow shows up, like magic.

This man is truly the only man I would ever want to see my little princess marry. He is the only one I would give her up to.”

My dad said with tears in his eyes.

 

Seeing my dad like that also made me a little emotional and I also noticed that the audience were also tearing up. I looked

over at Yoong and he had the widest smile on his face. Hmm why is he so happy? Shouldn't he be upset that I'm getting

engaged to some stranger?

 

Yoong's POV

What did I hear right? Or am I hallucinating? Because the guy that Mr. Jung just described is ME!! HEOL! After Mr. Jung

finished I couldn't help but to smile brightly. I never felt this happy ever since Jessica and I became a couple! But now we

are taking it one step further and we'll soon be married! Heol!! DAEBAK!! I just want to scream out loud right now, but I can't

this is still a formal party, I can't lose face now. I looked down at Jessica and she gave me a glare follow by a what-the-hell-

are-you-smiling-about-when-you-should-be-upset-angry-and-ready-to-kill-whoever-it-is-I-need-to-marry look. But seeing

her like that made me want to laugh even more since, she probably hasn't fully processed what her dad just said.

 

“Now, I know most of you are wondering who is this guy that sounds all too perfect for my little princess, well this guy, is no

other than her very own best friend, and current boyfriend, I may add, Im Yoong, the son of one of my closest friends and

business partner, Im Seung Hun.” Mr. Jung smiled.

 

I looked over at Jessica and her face went from a what-the- look to a holy--your-the-guy?! Look.

 

She looked really cute I just wanted to kiss her, but of course that would be unprofessional so I just gave her hand a light

squeeze.

 

Jessica's POV

 

WHAT? DID I JUST HEAR RIGHT? I'M ENGAGED TO YOONG?! HOW THE HELL DID THAT HAPPEN? WOAH

SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN!!

 

Is that why Yoong had that wide smile earlier? But how did he...OHHHH~~ now I realized who my dad was talking about

earlier. Aish~ the time when I shouldn't be slow on catching onto things just happens to be right now.

 

But who the hell cares, because Yoong and I are going to get MARRIED!! Oh YEAH!! NOW THOSE TY GIRLS CAN

LEAVE MY YOONGIE ALONE, BECAUSE HE IS MINE!! ALL MINE FOREVER AND EVER! SO IT ES!!!

 

Hehehe gah~~ I just want to yell and go into Yoong's arms, but of course that would be very unprofessional and unladylike.

 

“Jessica, my dear little princess, do you agree in marrying Yoong?” My dad looked at me and I nodded my head vigorously,

but in a cutely manner, causing everyone to chuckle. Aish~ how embarrassing, there goes my ice princess, Jessi-chic

image *pout*

 

“How about you Yoong?” My dad turned his attention to Yoong.

 

“I would be honored to marry your daughter.” Yoong bowed and gave everyone his infamous smile. Which caused some of

the women to blush, but that doesn't bother me too much, I think, because he's mine now >.<

 

“Well then, since everyone is in agreement, the wedding will be held after you graduate in 2 months.” My dad smiled and

opened his arms for a hug, and so I hugged him.

 

“Are you happy with my announcement princess?” My dad whispered while holding me in his arms.

 

“Yes daddy, thank you, and I love you.” I whispered back my tears threatening to fall but I managed to hold them back, I

don't want to ruin my makeup which I had to fix before coming back.

 

“Your welcome my dear little princess, and appa loves you too.” He smiled.

 

After the announcement everyone went back to what they were doing, but most of them were talking about Yoong and me.

 

They complemented how great we looked together and how our children will probably the best looking kids out there. That

remark made me blush, just thinking about having a family with him makes me feel so happy, but of course we will wait

until after we graduate college.

 

“WOW JESSI!! CONGRATS!!” Tiffany and Sunny bear hugged me as soon as we got back to them.

 

“I never thought you would tie the knot this early.” Sooyoung teased Yoong.

 

“Haha yeah but you now what they say.” Yoong paused and looked at us, and we gave him a what-do-they-say look.

 

“YOLO!” Yoong said and gave a peace sign, causing everyone to laugh out loud, until our stomachs began to hurt.

 

“Ahem, Yoong.” Seohyun called out, causing us all to stop laughing and stare at her.

 

“Congratulations on your engagement.” She smiled

 

“Yeah congratulations I hope you two live happily together.” Yonghwa also congratulated us.

 

“Thanks Seohyun, Yonghwa.” Yoong smiled at the two and nudged me to do the same.

 

“Yeah, thanks and we will live happily together.” I smiled and emphasized that last part to Seohyun.

 

After congratulating us, Yonghwa and Seohyun excused themselves because they were feeling a little tired and so they

went home.

 

The party kept going but Yoong suddenly nudged me again.

 

“Hey, want to ditch this party now?” He whispered.

 

“Hmm, where are we going to go?” I asked him.

 

“You'll see.” He gave me a cheeky grin and I just nodded my head.

 

“Hey guys, Sica and I are going to head back first.” He smiled.

 

“Hey hey, you two keep yourself in check okay, your only engaged not yet married so until then, please, keep your

hormones to yourselves.” Yul warned and everyone began to laugh while Yoong and I were blushing.

 

“YAH!! Of course we'll wait, I'm just worried about you two. I know how erted you guys can be.” he said pointing at Yul

and Sooyoung.

 

“Oh don't worry these guys won't be getting any until they put a ring on it.” TIffany and Sunny smiled and pointed at their

ring fingers, causing everyone to laugh again.

 

“Okay, well we're heading out now, see you guys at school.” Yoong smiled after we all calmed down.

 

“Okay have fun you two, but not too much.” Sooyoung again joked.

 

“Okay we get it.” I said, and bid my friends goodnight.

 

“So where exactly are you taking me this time?” I asked him after we got into his car.

 

“Hmmm you'll see, but shouldn't we change first?” He asked.

 

“Yeah I think we should, I don't want to ruin this dress, plus people on the street might think we're crazy for wearing formal

clothing.” I laughed.

 

“Okay, so let's get changed and then you'll see where we're going.” Yoong smiled and headed towards my mansion.

 

We both changed into more comfortable clothing and were on the road again.

 

“Are you seriously not telling me where we are going?” I pouted.

 

“Yup, so just stay put and stop pouting, your making me want to kiss you again.” He teased.

 

“Okay, fine, just wake me when we get there.” I smiled and he nodded his head.

 

“Sica, Sicachu wakey wakey.” I felt Yoong waking me up.

 

“Hmm are we there yet?” I asked still a little sleepy.

 

“Yup.” He smiled.

 

“Yoongie why are we here?” I asked him.

 

I can't believe he brought us to the old warehouse where we were kidnapped and where I thought I had lost him forever.

 

“Sica you probably hate this place and the memories we have of it, but for me this place is like a light bulb.” Yoong smiled

and led me inside the warehouse and the lights.

I never thought that I would ever return to this place, but here I am 8 years later returning to this horrid place, but what I

want to know is why Yoong thinks of this place as a light bulb.

 

Yoong led me to the back of the warehouse where everything happened. I also noticed the big spot of dried blood where

Yoong was shot. Seeing that made me feel scared but Yoong lightly squeezed my hand and gave me a smile assuring me

that he's right here.

 

“Okay, so are you going to tell me why this place is a light bulb?” I asked after he stopped walking.

 

“Sica, what do you remember about this place.” He asked me.

 

“I remember you and me being stuck here. I remember thinking we were going to die. I remember you freeing me and

staying behind where that jerk beat you up. I remember coming out to stop him, but he just slapped my precious face. But

most of all I remember you getting shot, and me thinking that I just lost one of the most important person in my life.” I told

Yoong.

 

“What about you? What do you remember about this place.” I asked him.

 

“Me? I remember all the bad things, but the one thing I remember most about this place, is that this very place is the exact

location when I realized that I loved you more than as my best friend.” Yoong smiled and walked towards the dried blood

stain on the ground.

 

But he's revelation shocked me. Yoong has been loving me for more than 8 years, and I never realized it?! Okay Sunny

was damn right, I am denser than osmium. (a/n: a little fun fact, osmium is one of the densest elements.)

 

“Sica, can I ask you something.” He said turning around after staring at the blood spot on the ground.

 

“Sure ask me anything Yoongie.” I smiled and walked towards him.

 

“Sica what would you do if I actually died here. If that man shot me through my heart?” He asked.

 

What the? Why would he ask that?

 

“Yoongie don't ask that, because I wouldn't be able to answer it.” I cupped his face.

 

“Well why not?” He asked.

 

“Yoongie do you know why I'm afraid of thunder?” I asked him.

 

“Yeah, because that night we were saved there was a thunder storm.” He replied.

 

Heol~
