Sungmin’s POV

After staying for 2 days in the resort, finally I’m home. I knocked my apartment door.

“Why are you knocking?” Kyu asked, but before I can even answer Hyuk opened the door

“What are you doing here?” Kyu said angrily and I know Hyuk was embarrassed

“I offered him my apartment” I said

“I’ll go in the kitchen first, I’m cooking lunch. Excuse me” Hyuk said then went straight to the kitchen

“You let him live here?!” Kyu said angrily

“Kyu, be nice. He has nowhere to go.” I explained

“How can I be nice. You won’t agree to live with me but it’s okay to live in with others?” he said

“Kyu, you’re different. Hyuk is just a friend” I said before kissing his cheek

“I can’t believe this!” Kyu said angrily

“I love you” I whispered

“You can’t get me with that Min” he said

“Please” I pleaded. I know Kyu’s fooling around already

“Okay, but I’ll live here too” he said

“What? Kyu, don’t you trust me?” I asked

“I do, but I don’t trust people around you. Who can’t resist you charm?” he said

“Kyu”

“Take it or leave it?” he said with authority

“I’ll take it, but be nice to him okay?” I agreed. I have no choice, when Kyu’s words are with authority I

know I will never win.

“Yes! Woah!” He screamed. I know what’s in his mind right at that moment

Eunhyuk’s POV

“Min, I think I should go and look for other place to live, I might cause your fight” I said to Min when we

were alone.

“Hyuk, I know you heard our conversation, just don’t mind Kyu okay. He’s not really rude, he’s just

always jealous. So don’t listen to his rudeness, be at home okay?” Min said. I never thought my

workaholic boss can be this generous. We weren’t close, we only talk about business so I felt

overwhelmed knowing he’s treating me as a friend.

“Thank you. You know what Min, the way Kyu get jealous makes me envy you.” I said with all

sincerity.

“You shouldn’t, I swear you wouldn’t like Hae being over possessive” he said. I smiled sadly at his

words.

“He looked for you, I promised to tell him” he said

“B-but I thought—“

“He agreed to give you some time alone” he continued.

“I told him everything and it made him realized all his mistakes so he agreed to give you time. Don’t
 

be sad, he love you very much, I witnessed how it was hard for him to know you left” Min said

“Min, you really think so?” I said unconvinced. I need to hear it again so I’ll be able to convince myself

too. I felt that he really did love me, but it’s when no one’s around.

“Don’t worry, true love always has its second chance so be patient okay?” his words were taking

some of the pain away.

“He didn’t say how much time he can give you, but knowing Hae I bet he’ll start bothering me tonight”

we laughed at his words.

“Min, thank you again. You showed me my worth and you taught how to love myself” I said sincerely

“Hyuk, don’t you know that it’s really hard to make you laugh, you’ll laugh a little and go back to being

serious again.” Min joked

“I know, I’m kinda boring” I said

“You’re not, you’re just too emotional. Laugh your problems out. Life’s too short to be wasted on

being lonely. Live life to the fullest” he said enthusiastically

“Okay, from now on I’ll never cry unless it’s tears of joy” I said firmly

“That’s the spirit!” Min said then hugged me

“Welcome the new and improved Lee Eunhyuk!” he whispered

“What’s the meaning of this?!” Kyu interrupted

“You’re ruining our moment Kyu” I joked

“Hey you! Don’t you dare touch my Minnie” he said childishly. I know by the way he looked and the

way he talked, he was just fooling around.

“What if I want to?” Minnie joined in

“If you want to be touched, then tell me I’ll be more than willing to serve you 24 hours a day, 7 days a

week” Kyu said

“But I don’t like you, I like to hug Hyuk cause he is fluffier than you” Minnie teased

“Hey, it’s getting in my nerves already. No more kidding or I’ll lock you to our room whole day!” he

said while pointing on Minnie

“ert!” Min shouted

“And you, your Hae has been calling me and my ears got really hot!” he said looking at me

“He is?” Min asked

“Yes, he’s been calling since I arrived in my apartment and he’s a real disturbance, He’s been asking

where to find you” Kyu said

“I told you, knowing Hae, when he meant time, he’ll think of it as hour” Min commented

“He’s patience is really a problem” I said

“Kyu too” Min said

“Why me?” Kyu complained

“Your patience is a problem too” Min repeated

“Anybody who’s really can’t wait” he said and I can’t help but laugh.

“I’m talking about serious things here and not about your erted thoughts” Min said irritably

“I wasn’t a ert neither did I have erted thoughts until I met you. It’s what they say learning

from experience” Kyu said then looked at Min lustfully while walking slowly towards Min. I saw how he

forced Min into a hug.

“Hey, can you do that without me around” I joked

“Help me Hyuk. Save me from slavery. Call the cops, I’m a real slave” Min said and pretended

not to like it.

“Whatever! erts!” I said then stood up to exit

“You go get your Hae so you won’t get envious” Kyu said.

I wish it was that easy, I can get Hae anytime I want. If he really love me, he should make a move to

look for me, but he’s dependent on Min’s promise. I want to cry but I promised not to shed tears over

sadness.
