Sungmin’s POV

“Good Morning Sir!” my secretary greeted me as I was about to enter my office.

“Good Morning” I said then I went inside my office room. I was just settling down when my intercom

rang.

“Excuse me sir, I forgot to tell you that you have a dinner appointment with our new VP” my secretary

mouthed.

“What time is that? I asked

“7 PM sir” he said “would you want coffee sir” he asked

I didn’t answer; I was distracted as my eyes caught a very familiar piece of paper.

“Sir, are you still there?” my secretary asked.

“A-ah yes, hmmm... Hyukjae, where you the one who placed a note in my table?” I asked very nervously.

“What note sir, I didn’t get in your office sir” he said.

“Ah okay, go back to your work now” I said.

I reached for the note as soon as I ended our conversation. The note is the same as what my so called

“secret admirer” is sending me these past few days. I opened it, it says:

I looked at my clock and it says 6:55PM. Our new Vice President for finance is kind of inefficient, though

He’s not late yet, but he must be here at least 15 mins. before the meeting. I hate waiting and I have

been here for 30 mins. now. Then the clock strikes 7:15PM, I got really impatient so I decided to just go

Home, it’s not my fault anyway. I was already standing up when…

“I’m sorry I’m late” a very familiar man approached me.

“What are you doing here?” I asked trying so hard to hide my shock.

“We’re having a meeting right? I know I’m late, I’m really sorry I got into a small accident” he said.

“Y-you’re our new VP for finance?” I asked shockingly.

“Yes, I’m kind of hungry, can we order first” he said as if it’s normal to have a conversation with me.

Having dinner with him is the last thing I would want to happen to me now. Why of all people?

“Minnie? Are you alright?” he asked. Maybe because I wasn’t in myself.

“You think I’m alright?! I’ll never be alright with you around!” my mind wanted to shout.

“Yeah, I’m just a little shocked” I said trying to put up a smile.

Our meeting ended up successfully. We showed both professionalism and most especially, it ended

Without me crying or fainting. It’s a great help that he was talked to me formally except of course when

As expected, I wasn’t able to sleep that night. I was avoiding of meeting him again after what had

So sorry for a lousy update... I've been so sick this past couple of days.
