Reunion

Don't fall in love with me

- "Who the hell would come to my house this early in the morning? Ugh how I hate morning people~" - Jaejoong was mumbling while he went downstairs to open the front door, since someone had been frenetically slamming on it.

Jaejoong was in a terrible mood. Or, better said, his usual mood in the past three months. Yes, three months were gone since Yun Hee left. Now his life was resumed to work the least he had to keep the company running and stay inside sleeping. He wasn't the same and his friends were worried about him. He gave up on looking for Yun Hee a month ago and got resigned to the fact he probably wouldn't see her never again.
Yoochun came to his house a couple of times, first to accuse him but in the last ones just to ask him if he had news. He too was desperate looking for her, even though he was used it. It was the second time Yun Hee left him.

- "I'M COMING, JEEZ!" - Jaejoong yelled from the hall - "What the do you wan-" - he froze when he saw the person standing in front of him.

- "Are you deaf? Man, my fist hurts from slamming this door" - Min Ha replied sarcastically.

- "Do you have news?! Please tell me you do!"

- "I know where Yun Hee is. But she also told me she's going to come back in a week, to celebrate her birthday. So I think you should wait-"

- "Wait? WAIT?!" - he yelled dramatically - "I waited three ing months! Where is she?!"

- "Look, I'm going to give you the address. I'm just doing this because I know her too well and I know she's suffering because she likes you. I don't even want to know what you did to her, just make sure you apologize properly. Because this might cost my friendship"

Jaejoong couldn't believe it. He was now smiling like he never did in these three long, painful months. He was going to see her again. After so much time apart from her, he was going to have the opportunity to explain everything to her. He was just hoping she would forgive him.

- "THANK YOU! THANKS THANKS THANKS!" - he exclaimed as he hugged Min Ha, making her blush at the sudden body contact.

- "There there, just make my girl happy. I know you can do it" - she said smiling at him as she handed him the piece of paper with the address - "Fighting!~"

- "Thank you so much!" - Jaejoong yelled again as he watched her leave his house. He then ran to his bathroom to take a quick shower and get dressed.

By the middle of the morning he was ready to leave. He looked at the address for the first time:

- "It takes a few hours to get there… Why the hell would she go there?"

Jaejoong didn't take more time questioning it and just got to his car.
The closer he got to the address Min Ha gave him, the more nervous he was. He was now, for the first time, looking at the situation more realistically: Yun Hee wouldn't want to even look at his face. What would he even say to her? Apologize? Like a simple "I'm sorry" would solve anything. Those thoughts kept running through his mind the whole time until, finally, he arrived his destination.

He stepped out the car and looked at the house in front of him. The one floor wooden house looked small yet comfortable, it had a countryside and romantic look to it. Looked like the ideal place for a honeymoon or recently married couples. Just in front of the house, across the street, the beach. The whole place looked like a small paradise and Jaejoong couldn't help but imagine him and Yun Hee together, happy, living there.

He was smiling unconsciously when he spotted a familiar figure swimming in the ocean. "Could it be…?" he thought, but couldn't figure it out since the person was too far. He ran to the beach, hope and happiness filling him as he got closer and recognized the beautiful girl. When he got closer enough for her to see him too, he stopped, breathless, staring at her.

Yun Hee stopped, water to her belly, as she turned around to face the strange man running for her. Were her eyes fooling her? She couldn't believe it. Jaejoong was there, standing breathless, looking at her. She couldn't help but feel happy, feel relieved he hadn't give up on her. That was proof he truly liked her. She started to walk in his direction slowly, like she wanted to make that happy moment last forever.

That genuine smile that made Yun Hee's heart melt formed on his lips as he walked closer to her too. She stopped when he was right in front of her. Now that they were that close, she could stop dark bags under his eyes. He looked tired and older.

Jaejoong grabbed her hands gently, afraid that she would slap him any time. They remained in silence for a few minutes until he said the first words:

- "Yun Hee, I.. I-"

She couldn't take it anymore. She hugged him so tightly he could loose his breath again. Small tears were now running through her cheeks as she buried her head on his chest, not caring about what he did before. That moment she didn't care about it. She just wanted to be by his side.
He caressed her head gently and rubbed her back, trying to calm her down. He too felt like crying from happiness.

She abruptly broke the hug and took a step back with her head lowered.

- "YOU'RE AN !" - she yelled. Jaejoong wasn't surprised, he knew sooner or later he would have to face the consequences of his acts - "YOU'RE STUPID, SELFISH, ARROGANT! YOU'RE THE WORST PERSON EVER!"

- "I know"

- "YOU'RE A BIG JERK! YOU'RE ALWAYS SO FULL OF YOURSELF AND YOU NEVER THINK ABOUT THE OTHERS!"

- "Yes I am"

- "YOU'RE AWFUL AND I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU HATE YOU HATE YOU!!"

- "No you don't"

Jaejoong grabbed her arms tightly pulling her to him and gave Yun Hee the most passionate kiss she ever had. At first she was shocked but soon she was responding to his love-full kiss.
The making out lasted for some minutes until they broke it to take a breath. He rested his forehead on hers and whispered to her lips, sending shivers through her body:

- "Insult me, hit me if you want, but never say you hate me ever again. Please don't."

At his words, the tears Yun Hee was trying so hard to contain ran through her redned cheeks. He gave a sweet peck on her lips and, suddenly, picked her up bridal style and ran through the ocean.
Yun Hee screamed to Jaejoong to put her down but it seemed like he had other plans. They both entered the water, she with her bikini, he fully clothed.
After some time of them both panting and some insults by Yun Hee, they finally stopped. He locked his eyes with hers, sending a powerful gaze to her. She was about to say something but he cut her by grabbing her waist strongly and gave her a violent, passionate kiss.

The scene itself probably looked so , Yun Hee thought. She was glad they were alone at that beach. Two people making out passionately in the water, one of them with his clothes on, probably looked like it was out of some… weird movie.

When Jaejoong was sure she was more calm (if she could be calm after that intense making out) he let go of her, but still hold her hands tightly. She slowly looked him in the eyes, looking for answers.
He guided her to sit in the sand by his side. She did it and both remained like that, silent, watching the sunset.

- "Hey, Jaejoong…" - she said without turning to him, with a soft voice, almost whispering - "Do you remember how we first met?"

- "Of course I do, I was having a terrible day!" - he said giggling as he turned to her.

- "Me too… and you just appeared and made it worst!" - she retorted.

- "Made it worst?!" - he exclaimed surprised - "A handsome guy like me, I made your life 10 times better!"

Her smile faded away.

- "Did you?" - she turned to him, with a sad look on her eyes.

Yun Hee got up and headed to her house.

- "YUN HEE! WAIT!" - Jaejoong yelled, regretting his words. He followed her to the wood house. She was already in but left the door open, as an invitation. Jaejoong stepped in and searched for her.
She was in the kitchen, already with an oversized t-shirt on, her wet hair dripping on her back.

- "You're probably hungry, aren't you? I'll make dinner. I'm sorry I don't have clothes for you to change."

- "It's okay…" - was all Jaejoong could mutter.

'What the hell is with this girl? She was so angry back then but now she's acting all normal… I swear I don't understand woman'

- "Need any help?" - he added.

- "No, just sit over there. It will be ready soon"

He did as she instructed and waited.
Minutes later Yun Hee came with two plates of noodles. She sat in front of him and started eating, without making any effort to kill the awkward silence between them.

- "So…" - Jaejoong said in an attempt to break it - "Nice house. Is is yours?"

- "My parents. We used to spend our holidays here when I was a child"

- "Only when you were a child?"

- "Yes. My dad got too old to make such a long drive. After that I only came here with…" - she sighed before continuing - "With Dae Hyun"

- "Sorry for asking.."

- "It's okay. I got over it already"

A hint of hope and happiness ran through Jaejoong's mind.

- "It doesn't mean I'm ready for you."

Oh so she was angry. All that romantic scenario on the beach was just the heat of the situation. She was mad at him and he knew she was right.

- "Yun Hee, I don't know how to explain myself… You know, I was drunk and-"

- "Oh, you were drunk. It's okay then. Alright. I forgive you and let's live happy forever after." - her ironic tone was hurting him.

- "That's not what I meant… I know I did wrong and being drunk isn't an excuse, but I really thought you were going to date that Yoochun guy… I got so mad and jealousy took over me."

Yun Hee's eyes widened at his confession. Jealousy? For a guy to admit he was jealous, he was being sincere…

- "No need to excuse yourself, I have nothing to do with your private life"

- "Of course you have! You have EVERYTHING to do with my private life! Because I..."

- "You…?"

Next chapter is the last one, and then an epilogue... I'm saving my last words to write a note after the end, so I won't say much this time (:

Please enjoy and look forward to the end!!

Chapter 15: tbh as much of an as he was, I understood why he did it. You can't really blame a guy for trying to hook up with a rebound when the girl you love just practically said "I'm giving him a chance not you" whether she was saying it to make him realize something, for her to say that was a bit harsh & actually unnecessary.

Chapter 19: I don't know if you're gonna read this but i just came across this story yesterday and finished it in one go. And i read it all over again today as well. You can see how much i love this story right? Hehe. It's a really wonderful piece. I love how it's light, yet romantic and funny and fluffy with the right amount of drama and sadness. And i love stories that are not too long. And omg Kim Jaejoong as a super rich CEO is my ultimate weakness. I have a thing for boss-secretary fics. This is perfect really. I subscribed so i can keep reading this! Please write more fics like this. I adore it to bits! Toodles! :)
