Chapter 17 - The Departure

"What? You're going to study in the states?" Yuri said with a mouthful of
sandwich.
It was lunch time and the gang were eating their luch at the school
canteen.
"Yeah. Jiyeon told me about that," Changmin, back to his own self, said.
"Man, why didn't you tell us?" Sungmin said to Kyu.
"Is it alright for you, Yoong?" Seohyun whispered to Yoona.
"Of course! Even if I'll miss him so much, it will be for his future," Yoona
answered,forcing a smile.
"Don't forget about us, bro!" Donghae slapped Kyu at the back.
"Don't look at other girls, or else you'll get hurt by this fork," Sooyoung
dared him.
Everyone laughed at Sooyoung's joke.
"Of course not. I made a promise," Kyu said as he looked at Yoona.
At the graduation day...
'"Congratulations guys!" Bomi excitedly said to her Unni's and Oppa's.
"Congrats Unnie!" Chorong hugged her unnie, Seohyun.
"Oppa, congrats!" Hayoung hugged her oppa, Kyu.
Everyone was happily celebrating their graduation except Yoona.
Changmin approached Yoona who was silently sitting on her seat.
"Are you okay?"
Yoona just nodded.
"Kyu's leaving, huh. You can stop him if you want."
"I want to, but I know this is right."
On the other hand, Jiyeon hugged Kyu.
"Kyu! Congrats! I know I made you and Yoona a rough time, but now, I'll
try to move on. I will find someone better that you, evil man!" Jiyeon
.
At the airport...
"I'll just prepare our tickets," Mrs. Cho said and left.
"Hayoung, you'll come back soon, right?" Chorong asked.
"I'll be back after a few days."
"Promise me you'll be back!" Bomi said with tears starting to flow.
"I'll just be on vacation. It's not like I'm going to transfer," Hayoung
happily said to calm Bomi.
"Kyu, be careful," Seohyun hugged Kyu.
"You promise not to look at other girls except Yoong!" Sooyoung dared.
"Or else!" Yuri added.
"Of course," Kyu said smiling.
"We will miss you," Sooyoung and Yuri hugged him.
"Bro! Take care, okay?" Donghae and Sungmin patted him at the back.
"Changmin, please take care of her while I'm away," Kyu said.
"You bet. Just be sure to be back, or else you'll regret leaving her
behind," Chagmin hugged Kyu.
Yoona was at the back just looking at him. She's afraid to approach him
because she's afraid that she's going to cry. She held back the tears. But
when Kyu looked at her, her tears started to flow.
Kyu hugged her girlfriend.
"Now now, don't cry. I'm not going to leave you forever."
"Oh Kyu! I will miss you!" Yoona started to cry.
Kyu just hugged her to calm her down.
A lady's voice on the speakers spoke: "All flights bound for New
York,please proceed to Booth 2. The plane will be leaving in 10
minutes."
"Bye Hayoung! Take care!" Chorong and Bomi, together with the others
waved her goodbye.
"Listen to me, I will be back. I promise," Kyu said to Yoona.
"I will wait for you!" Yoona sniffed.
Kyu hugged her once more and said, "I love you, grandma deer."
"I love you too, evil Kyu."
