"Here are your invitations for the annual ball. The theme will be, 'My Hidden Feelings'," Ms. Tiffany said while handing out the invitations to her class.
Yoona and Kyu looked at each other. They looked away immediately while blushing.
"I hope you have your partners. It will be lonely to be alone, right? So, see you at the ball! Have a nice weekend!" Ms. Tiffany dismissed the class.
Sungmin stood beside Yuri. " So, if ever no one will ask you to the ball, I'll be right here, okay!" He said to Yuri.
"Oh, shut up! Of course someone out there will ask me out, hump!"
"At least I'm sure you'll be my partner," Sooyoung said to Donghae.
"I'll be your partner, forever," Donghae said then hugged his girlfriend.
A guy student approached Seohyun on her seat.
"Hi," the guy greeted.
"Hi, Yonghwa," Seohyun greeted back.
"I just wanted to ask. Do you want to go to the ball with me?" Yonghwa asked,trembling.
Seohyun giggled and answered, "Of course."
Yonghwa was so happy that he jumped up and down.
"Thank you! Ahm, I'll call you, okay?"
"Oh, okay..."
Then, Yonghwa left.
"Seohyun has a date!" Sooyoung and Yuri teased.
Kyu was silently sitting on his desk. He thought, should he ask Yoona on the ball?
He was so nervous, but he decided to make a move.
But suddenly, Changmin stood beside Yoona and asked her.
"Can you be my date for the ball?" Changmin asked.
"Ahm...Why not?" Yoona forced a smile.
Yoona thought, " Actually, I was waiting for someone else to ask me," then she looked at Kyu.
Jiyeon ran towards Kyu and asked him to the ball. Kyu didn't answered and Jiyeon assumed it was a "yes".
The next week, at the ball...
While the others were happily dancing, Kyu and Changmin stayed at their table.
"Kyu, I know it's a bit sudden but, have you and Jiyeon kissed?" Changmin teasingly asked.
"What!?" Kyu was shocked with his question.
"Well, I thought that you've kissed because me and Yoona just passed that."
"What!!?" Kyu was so mad. What is he talking about?
"That moment was so amazing and ..."
Kyu punched Changmin on the face.
"Don't you ever say things like that about Yoona!!!" Kyu angrily said.
He stood up and walked away.
Instead of getting mad, Changmin smiled.
"Success...."
On the otherhand...
Yoona was by the food table when Jiyeon approached her.
"Hi Yoong!"
"Oh, hi, Jiyeon."
"You know what? I have a secret to tell you."
"What is it?"
"Well, me and Kyu... We just kissed!"
"What!!?" Yoona was shocked by her statement.
"And you know what? We're so happy! He even wanted to do it again!"
Yoona's plate shattered on the floor. She ran away with tears flowing down her cheeks.
Instead of feeling bad for her friend, Jiyeon smiled.
"Success..."
At the table...
"Jiyeon, what happened?" Changmin whispered.
"Our plan worked. Let's wait for the results."
"Do you think they will split apart?"
"I am 100% sure," Jiyeon said with an evil smile.
Yoona ran outside the gym. She found a tree and she hid there... crying....
"Why, Kyu? I know you're not like that! Why!", she shouted.
"I know you're not like that, too," a guy suddenly appeared from the shadows.
"Kyu..."
Kyu sat beside her.
"She told you that same thing, right?"
"Yes... I know you're not like that! But, she sounded so serious. Like, it was real."
"Why did they even do that? Unless..."
"They want to split us apart?!" Kyu and Yoona said at the same time.
"Well, they have to try harder," Kyu said.
"Did you, believe Changmin?"
"At first, yeah. But after a while, I thought, you're not like that. I know you," Kyu replied, then stared Yoona in the eyes.
Kyu thought that this might be the right time to tell her what he really feels.
Yoona thought the same thing.
"I want to say something," the two said at the same time.
"You first!" the two said again at the same time.
"Wait, let's say what we want to say at the same time, okay?"
Kyu nodded in agreement.
The two counted silently. 1...2...3...
"I like you!!"
Both were shocked by each other's words.
Yoona looked down, and blushed. Kyu looked up, hiding his smile.
"So... That's it..." Kyu stood and straighten himself up.
Kyu offerred his hand and Yoona grabbed it.
The two were now face to face.
Kyu came closer to her and wiped away her tears. Yoona just closed her eyes.
Both hearts felt relieved. They thought, " No one can intefere now.... No words can even split us apart."
Then, their warm lips touched.
