...from my friends (part 2)

we crossed paths with a lot of people. And sometimes, when we are lucky, we cross paths with awesome people.

There were things that back then, when he was a young kid, Hyukjae would have never dreamt of. Being a worldwide star to say one. And standing in a living room with his friends talking about his life. Wait maybe that was possible. Talking with his friends and bandmates about his gay life he shared with his bestfriend. Yes, that definitely was something he would have never guessed right.

As Hyukjae scanned the room, facing a frowned Sungmin, an evilly grinning Kyuhyun and an awkward Donghae, he considered for a moment to beat his forehead on the wall and just faint. Sigh.

Why.

Why.

“Aish I really don't know how to begin this. God dammit” said Sungmin after a while, shaking his head.

Hyukjae any other time would have laughed but not this one. I should be the one saying God dammit!

Kyuhyun snorted.

Hyukjae reconsidered that no maybe the top priority was murder Kyuhyun and then faint.

And judging from Sungmin's death glare probably he was considering the same exact thing. However whatever was their intention Donghae decided to open his mouth. God, no.

“Guys the atmosphere here is kinda creepy. What the heck is going on? It's worse than that prank about Super junior disbanding”

Sungmin frown got even deeper.

“ Wait, don't tell is like that... Really?” and Donghae of course decided it was the time to go completely mislead by his own and just hyperventilate. Hyukjae didn't know if he wanted to kick him or just take pity on him and tranquillize him. In the end it won the last.

“ Don't overthink. It's nothing like that” he said. He didn't need a freaked out Donghae even though that was kind of inevitable.

“ Oh thank God. You guys nearly caused a heart attack”

“Actually the matter is even more serious” commented the maknae. Donghae, who missed to notice the sarcasm, paled.

Thanks Kyuhyun.

“ Kyun-a” Sungmin shook his head.

“ Oh c'mon hyung, you guys are taking forever to say it. Just spill out and get this over! It's nothing really deathly serious, maybe it's a bit awkward, wait no a lot awkward, but we just have to warn them and talk some and that we can happily forget it actually happen and life can go on”

Sungmin this time really face palmed while Donghae opened his mouth like a fish and said “What?Can somebody please explain me this better or are you having fun playing stupid with me?”

Perfect now Donghae was getting angry.

“ Donghae..” Hyukjae started. Of course in the end the duty was on him. Sigh. Donghae turned to him, looking Hyukjae with those big eyes which always were his weakness.

“This morning I woke you up suddenly because Jungsoo hyung was coming” Donghae froze unsure to nod or to keep it quiet. He avoided with all his might to look towards Sungmin and Kyuhyun because he knew how easy his emotions were displayed on his face. Hyukjae couldn't help but smile a bit because he was such a sweetheart.

“Sungmin hyung warned me” suddenly all kinds of emotions crossed trough Donghae's face. If he never have asked himself how Hyukjae was so effective he was probably doing now.

“Are you saying that..?” Donghae couldn't even formulate the entire phrase. He eyed the two of them hoping he was misunderstanding. But he wasn't. He froze. Hyukjae smiled sympathetic. They stare at each other eyes for a long moment.

“We know hyung” Kyuhyun said sepulchrally, all sight of mischievousness gone from his face, like using the hyung wasn't enough.

Donghae stayed in silence for another long moment waiting for someone to jump out and shouting “surprise” but none ever came out. When it was clear nobody was doing a prank he simply said:

“OH GOD” then he stood up but he couldn't exactly run away because he was probably understanding there was a reason for them to talk about that with him.

“I need... a moment.”

Hyukjae in his desperate state of mind thought that the only time Donghae was actually justified to be a drama king he actually was behaving better than normal times ( he didn't try to escape from the windows or burst in to tears for example). He would have found it cute if they weren't in a giant . Well at least we are together. For now. Suddenly Hyukjae felt the whole gravity of the upcoming conversation.

“ I think...” and here Hyukjae blushed, unable to avoid it “ I have to ask this to be sure. What do you know exactly?”.

“ Pretty much everything”

“ Describe everything”

“Seriously Hyuk I warned you about Jungsoo coming upstairs. It's obvious that I well... I guessed you weren't playing card games. It wasn't like you were exactly subtle.”

“Yeah, once I nearly bumped into your activities in the changing room. I nearly had heart attack”

Donghae emitted a whale sound as Hyukjae blushed furiously.

“Please at least you didn't have to cover them for the sake of whatver they were doing in Donghae's room. You left me alone you traitor.”

At that point both of them were at loss of words. We weren't able to fool them not even a day, for 's sake. Hyukjae could see Donghae's orbs dilated in fear and he knew he probably had on his face the same expression.

Sungmin seemed to sense what might be their feelings because his expression soon softened and exchanging glances with Kyuhyun, who nodded, he started (they kind of practised together the speech even though of course the maknae let the responsibility to him).

“Look. We are not here to judge you or anything like that. So please, at least don't be afraid of that.

I won't say it's not even a bit weird but you are still the same Hyukjae and Donghae so nothing changed.”

Hyukjae felt a little comforted however it was evident Sungmin had a lot more to say.

“If we are intruding and believe me this is the last thing we wanted to do, it's to warn you. Please, be more careful! We want to remain the only one to have found out. At least for now.”

Hyukjae felt relieved and stressed at the same time and he could bet Donghae felt the same if not worse. Relieved because Sungmin and Kyuhyun weren't going to report them or to blame their relationship. Which was huge thing. Everybody in superjunior had teased them about the eunhae thing, it was like an inside joke, but Hyukjae knew that there was a chance not all the members would have been ok if the joke converted in reality. The concern in Sungmin's voice was prove of that. Furthermore even if they were lucky enough to have all the members comprehensive and understanding towards their new relationship that didn't mean no consequences. Sungmin was probably thinking about Jungsoo hyung and what he would do if he considered their relationship a danger for super junior. Hyukjae knew they have lived till then in the blind belief that they were going to go on for as long as they wanted unharmed. But the exterior world was after them. Hyukjae knew sooner or later they had to face it. He just didn't think it was going to be so soon. He wanted to reach Dognhae and intertwine their fingers to find some reassurance.

“ I” Donghae started but then he stopped seeming to struggle a bit to formulate his thoughts. Hyukjae was a little unsure of what he was going to say. What if Donghae was now scared to death? Sure Hyukjae was also scared to death but would Donghae want to bail out? Hyukaje felt ashamed to think of Donghae like that, but the latter hated to impose himself on the others and he cared a lot about his beloveds' opinion.

“We didn't plan this. Really. It sort of happened” he met for a brief a moment Hyukjaes' eyes, and the latter could read a warm feeling in them and maybe a bit of sadness but not uncertainty.

“Actually I happened. It's so awkward to even to talk about this, heck.” And he laughed nervously.

“Hyung. Maybe you missed something but well it's kind of Min hyung's fault. He in talking” Sungmin glared at him but the maknae ignored him” what we wanted to say is: we are watching your back. Just be more secretive. For the rest you have nothing to worry about.”

Hyukjae wanted to cry.

Donghae actually did.

Hyukjae didn't refrain this time and just went next to Donghae to put an arm around his shoulders.

“but anyway it would be nice if you stop leaving hickeys all over Hyukjae. It's gross” he ended jokingly.

Donghae blushed furiously as Hyukjae couldn't help but laugh.

Donghae had a lot in his mind. After that conversation he escaped from the dorm and went for a little trip near the Han river. It was pretty chilly but walking alone in the darkness and security of the night was fresh and relieving. He needed time for himself. Hyukjae wasn't happy but understood him and let him go. It was in times like that that he felt to love Hyukjae even more.

He didn't even thought to escape, like he could do that at that point. There was no way he could escape from Hyukjae. From love. Ok, the chat with Sungmin and Kyuhyun was a bit overwhelming and he couldn't help to think that h if he had been a little less enthusiastic they would have continue to be in their little world for longer.

It's not like we can avoid the real world forever. Besides, who would regret even one second spent with Hyukjae? Not him.

Donghae walked and walked enjoying the little piece of freedom of a chilly night.

Then of course his phone rang in the middle of his healing time.

“Hey you ok?”

Of course it was Hyukjae.

“Yes don't worry.”

“ Of course I'm worried. We are talking of you”

Donghae giggled.

“Anyway donghae you have to come back. The others are asking me where you are”

Donghae could bet nobody was wondering where he was, since the other were tight sleep or outside and Kyuhyun and Sungmin already knew.

“ yes, yes I'm coming”

“Are you really ok?” Donghae wasn't the finest person ever. He often was accused to be unable to read the moment and to cause more ruckus than necessary. But if there was one thing he could do for sure that thing was feel Hyukjae. Maybe most of the times he didn't understand the logic behind a state of mind or an emotion but he knew how Hyukjae was feeling, when he was happy, when he was upset. And this time he thought that what Hyukjae really wanted to ask was “Are we ok?”.

“Hyuk I probably won't be able to look in the eyes of our maknae for above a week without wanting to hide in shame but aside from that I'm allright. ”

“I believe you, I guess. Anyway please hurry or I'll fall asleep before you'll get here.”

“Hyuk you are getting old what about your stamina?”

“Do I have to answer to that?” Hyukjae replied cheekily.

Donghae blushed.

“ Yahh hyuk!”

Hyukjae hang up laughing on the phone.

But Donghae smiled nonetheless at least Hyukjae seemed more relaxed. He knew Hyukjae was a worrywart and he was probably thinking the worst possible scenarios a tryign to find a way to prevent them to even face one of those.

We really are a ed up couple.

Dognhae decided to come back but not before doing a call himself.

Hyukjae sighed after hanging up.

He was dead worried.

Two of their members knew. They were lucky enough they were Sungmin and Kyuhyun and that they were pretty chill with everything. Well it wasn't like they were overly happy but Hyukjae knew they would helped them in every possible way. Still hw didn't like to depend on mere luck and on the other's good heart. We really were reckless.

However he couldn't think of a way to stop this, whatever this thing with Donghae was, it was clear they were beyond every line and good sense.

He heard a faint knock on the door.

“Come in”

The head of Sungmin came out.

“ Hyung”

“ Hyuk” there was an awkward silence.

“ ah. It's all so awkward. I feel bad now to have talked to you guys. But you have to know that it was really the last thing I wanted to do.”

“ I know Min. Don't worry.”

“Hyukjae you don't need to be so stiff with us. With me.”

“It's just. Well didn't you at least freaked out a bit?”

Sungmin giggled

“Of course. You were lovey dovey and we always teased you for that but the actual thing was pretty shocking. However when it comes to the both of you I think everything is possible. No matter how weird I found it the first time, in the I think it was kind of inevitable.”

Hyukjae smiled because that was he was thinking all along.

“Ah. We are really a ed up duo.”

“Indeed”

“Hyung, thank you for everything”

“oh c'mon Hyuk since when you are so sentimental?”

“ haha Donghae in the end got me with his mushiness”

“ That's the really disgusting thing.”

Hyukjae laughed.

“Anyway Min. I want to talk about another serious matter. I have to know, so tell me who do you think is suspecting something. I can't stop this, I can't. But I can be more careful”

“ now don't get so paranoid. I found out because I'm smart and I have a lot of imagination I guess. Of course jumping on each other after you close the door was not your smartest decision but well.

“Hyung!”

“Ok ok. I'll tell you.”

Hyukjae nodded.

To protect what they had. That was now his priority.

When Donghae came back most of the lights were off. He tiptoed towards Hyukjae's room where he found the latter asleep. This bastard didn't even waited for me”.

Of course what Donghae did was sneaking into his bed. As soon as he wrapped his arms around him Donghae knew Hyukjae was only pretending.

“Yah stop faking to be asleep anchovy”

Hyukjae turned in his arms his eyes piercing and adorable. But then he kicked him under the blankets yearning a yelp from Dognhae.

“ I told you to be fast, and don't scream silly or who knows what Kyuhyun and Sungmin would think”

“I would have not if you haven't grace me with your killer kick” Donghae retorted.

“ shush”

it seemed like their usual little and stupid fights but for once Hyukjae would have never worried about waking whoever it was in the house and they both knew it.

So of course Donghae could do nothing but kissing him.

It was a really really long day. They both overcame a mental break down or maybe they were still not realizing the whole meaning of earlier discussion, so Donghae thought they needed to be themselves again in their own little world. Hyukjae kissed him back but not for long, he put distance between them, at least he tried.

“ what?” Donghae asked him shocked of that reaction.

“ we shouldn't. Did you really listen to..”

“ I was there there too”

“ really it doesn't seem to me since you want...”

“ are you going to neglect me from now on Hyuk?”

Donghae said and then sighed and Hyukjae frowned because Donghae have never sighed not for real.

Hyukjae grabbed his face with his hands, their heads impossibly close.

“ I thought you said I was the ert”he said trying to joke before crashing their lips together. He felt Donghae's fingers tickling his side and sneak under his pyjama, as a hot desire kept running through his veins.

Just this once. They would be reckless just another night. Even if they were dead tired even though all the members were at the dorm.

Just this once.

And they sealed their moans with their lips.

Author's note: I tried to do my best to update! Ah! I just moved out and this new wok is killing but I feel at home only when I'm writing so I don't have the intention to stop. Never XD ( if you want to know what happened to me go here)

I don't' know why but every time Sunmign and Kyuhyun are involved I can't help but feel hilarious! Anyway now it's going to start the second part of Eunhae drama, if you noticed Hyukjae already, subtly, changed!
