The two were ready. They walked to the parking lot.
“Wait, but we have our own cars. What are we suppose to do about that?” Hyoyeon asked.
“Your treat to dinner, so you drive me. Come back, I take you out! Done deal~” he put his arm over her shoulder.
“But that is such a waste of gas!” she pushed off his arm and leaned onto her car.
“That’s true…” he rubbed his chin.
“How about I just tell you where to go and we can meet there. Afterwards, we go to my house so I can drop off my car!”
“That, is an awesome idea. Alright. So where do you plan to have dinner at?”
“What kind of cuisine do you like then?”
“How about we go Korean BBQ, I haven’t had that in a long time.”
“Alright, let’s go to Seoul’s KBBQ then. Do you know where that is?”
“I think I know where it is. If anything, I’ll just use my GPS to take care of it. Race you there!”
“That’s dangerous! See you there!” she unlocked her car door.
Eunhyuk watched Hyoyeon drive away. He couldn’t help but smile. “Where have you been all my life?” he thought. He walked to his car. He felt his phone vibrate, it was his umma. He went to sit in the car. He didn’t even start driving yet.
Oh, umma.
Son, where are you?
I’m going on a date!
Do you think you can put it off?
Why?
It’s Gyuri’s parents. Apparently, she told them that you guys really hit it off. Something about she wants to marry you.
Umma! You’re not going to go along with it right?
Of course not. You told me that you have another girl you really like. I wouldn’t do anything that goes against your happiness. Do you think you can come home and sort this out with her parents? They say that they’re on the way to our home.

After the phone call ended, he quickly dialed Hyoyeon’s number. He just thought of the perfect plan. “Why in the world would Gyuri do this. It was just one date. We barely even talked,” he muttered as the call went through.
Hello?
Hyoyeon-ah. Where are you right now?
I’m almost at the restaurant. Why?
Can you drive back home? Something came up at home.
Oh okay, that’s fine. Family first right?
Yes, but I plan to take you to my home. There’s a problem that can’t be solve without you. So I’ll see you at your place then?
Hmm, alright then. See you later.

He quickly hung up the phone and drove off to Hyoyeon’s place. Hopefully nothing is going to happen at his own place before he gets there. “How can they do this at 7. A time when people eats their dinner,” he ruffled his hair.
He finally arrived, he saw Hyoyeon waiting in her car. When she saw him, she got out of her car and waited for him to park his car for her to get in.
“What’s so important that I have to go to your place?”
“Pretend to be my girlfriend.”
“What?”
“Okay, so remember that day when you saw me with Gyuri?”
“Yeah.”
“Okay, so apparently, a wild idea popped into her head. She wants us to get married. My mom called me and told me that her parents and her are coming over to discuss it. Of course, I am not letting that happen and so is my mom. Hopefully, they are not there before we get there. Or else my mom has to stall them.”
“Fine. How long are we going get there?”
“About ten more minutes. Can you call my mom and ask if they are there yet?” he handed her his phone. Hyoyeon took the phone and went through his contacts. She scrolled down until she saw “Umma” she pressed the number and called.
Hello, Mrs. Lee?
Yes, who is this?
I am a friend of Hyukjae. He is wondering if Gyuri and her family is there yet.
Unfortunately, they are here at the moment. I am still stalling. Get here before it’s too late.
Alright, we need about 8 minutes. We are almost there. Don’t worry, Mrs. Lee. Your son will handle the issue.
You are a wonderful lady. My son must be happy to meet you. Alright, see you later. I don’t want the family to wait so long.

“So are they there yet?”
“Sadly, yes they are.”
“Aish,” he stepped the pedal harder, making them go faster.
“Do you think it will be easier to solve the issue if we called Leeteuk oppa?”
“Yes, I think so. Try calling him. Thanks for the help, Hyoyeon. I really appreaciate it.”
“No problem.” Again, she used Eunhyuk’s phone to look for Leeteuk’s number. She quickly called him.

Oppa, this is Hyoyeon. We kind of have an issue right now.
What is it?
Uh, where are you right now?
On a date with Taeyeon. Why, what’s wrong?
Hyukjae says that Gyuri wants to him, and her family is over at Hyukjae’s place right now. We figured that it would be easier to solve if you were also there too.
Okay, I understand. Are you almost there yet?
Uh, I think so. Where are you right now?
Just at the mall, don’t worry. The mall is at least 5 minutes away from his place. We’ll see you there.

“I know this is not the time to say it but, how come you call him oppa, but not me? I am older than you. Therefore, you SHOULD call me oppa.”
“Are you serious? This is not the time for it right now. There is a possibility of you getting engaged to another woman whom you do not want and you are ranting at how I don’t call you oppa?”
“Are you jealous that it is possible that I could get married with Gyuri?”
“… No!” she blushed.
“Don’t worry. In my head, I think we have a bright future ahead of us. WE are going to be married. Hey, we’re here. Let’s go.”
“So what do you say, Mrs. Lee, do you agree that they should be engaged?” Mr. Park asked.
“Mr. Park, we, as parents, wants the best for their own children. From my son’s perspective, I do not think he’d like this kind of idea. He already told me that he is seeing someone, and that someone is not your daughter,” Mrs. Lee kindly explained.
“Oppa does not look like someone that has a girlfriend!” Gyuri said, with a hint of anger and temper.
“We are in a modern time where there is a slight chance of people have arrange marriages.”
“But if our children gets married, it would definitely benefit both of our companies,” Mr. Park explained.
“If only Hyukjae’s sister is at home, she would definitely straighten them out. Too bad she’s in America at the moment,” Mrs. Lee sighed.
“Okay, are you ready?” he held his hand out to her.
“Ready,” she held his hand.
“Remember, let me do the talking. Don’t say anything,” he unlocked the door and walked inside.
“Umma! I’m home!”
“Oppa! I have been waiting for yo-,” Gyuri was about to hug him when she saw that he was holding hands with another woman.
“You?! What are you doing here?” Gyuri glared at Hyoyeon.
“She is my girlfriend. Everyone, please meet my girlfriend, Kim Hyoyeon,” he introduced.
“Appa, umma, I think she is a third wheel! We saw her at the restaurant when we had our date! She and her friend must’ve been stalking us! Ugh! I cannot believe she managed to get her hands on MY future husband,” Gyuri threw a fit.
“Hold it in, Hyoyeon. Just hold it in,” she breathed. She felt pressure on her hand, Eunhyuk was holding onto her tightly.
“Hyoyeon, why don’t we have a seat,” the two walked to Eunhyuk’s mom and sat next to her. Hyoyeon was in the middle.
“Shush it, Gyuri,” Mrs. Park hushed her.
“We apologize for her tantrum. She is the only child and gotten EVERYTHING she wanted so it must be hard for her to not have a man she wants,” Mr. Park emphasized.
“Wow, her parents literally lets her do whatever she wants. Must be hard to be her parents. So careless,” Hyoyeon thought.
“Hyukjae, would you kindly explain what is going on to us?” Mrs. Park asked.
“Yes, of course. First of all, I only went on this date because my umma felt bad of letting Gyuri feel rejected by a guy. I pitied her so I let decided to just go along with the date. I did not expect for this to happen. Gyuri, we only went one date. Please do not push this over my limit.”
“Alright, so do you plan on ever returning feelings back to Gyuri?” Mr. Park asked.
“No, as you already know, I have a girlfriend. And we plan to spend the rest of our lives together,” he smiled.
Mrs. Park turned her attention to Hyoyeon. “Kim Hyoyeon, right?” she nodded.
“Do you really love this man? Can you really spend the rest of your lives together? What happens if your boyfriend actually have feelings for Gyuri, but you’re just holding him back?” Mrs. Park coldly asked her.
“Yes, I do love this man. We met each other way before he met Gyuri. We CAN spend all of the time in the world together. Why would I hold him back if I know he has feelings for Gyuri? I don’t want to be stuck with someone who doesn’t love me back forever. If he DOES have feelings for her, he would tell me. But he didn’t. On the day of the restaurant, indeed we saw each other. But you know what? That SAME day, he came to see me. He explained everything to me. He didn’t want me to get mad at him. He even told me that he wants to marry ME, not your daughter, or anyone else. He wants to marry ME, Kim Hyoyeon,” she proudly gave her reply. She meant every word she said. She did fall in love with Eunhuyk, he made her extremely happy when they went on their first date. Her reply made everyone speechless, especially the Park family.
What she said made Eunhyuk’s heart skip a bunch of beats. He couldn’t help but smile at what she said. Not to mention that her reply did make Mrs. Lee proud. “My son found a beautiful young lady,” she smiled.
It went silent for a while, until the door bell rang, “I’ll get it,” Eunhyuk got up.
“Hyung, you missed out man. Hyoyeon was strong!” he quietly whispered to Taeyeon and Leeteuk.
The two walked in. “Hello, Mrs. Lee, Park family,” he greeted. Taeyeon bowed.
“Now, who is this pretty lady?” Mrs. Lee asked, treating the Park family as if they were not even there in the first place.
“My girlfriend, Kim Taeyeon,” he introduced.
“Hello, Mrs. Lee. It is nice to meet you,” she smiled.
“Ahem,” Mr. Park coughed.
“Ah yes, sorry about that. Now, will you look at the time, it is almost 8:30, we have not even eaten dinner. Would you mind leaving, we have dinner to eat,” Leeteuk said.
“Uh, of course. Jagiya, Gyuri, let’s go. We should let them eat their dinner peacefully,” Mr. Park got out of his seat.
“This is not over, Kim Hyoyeon. Watch your back. It might be stabbed one day,” Gyuri scowled at her.
The Park family finally left. “Well, they sure taken up a lot of time, I haven’t even made dinner yet. And Hyuk’s appa is almost home. You girls make yourself at home while I make dinner,” she smiled and went to the kitchen.
“No, Mrs. Lee, let me help you,” Hyoyeon followed her.
“Oh! Me too!” Taeyeon got up and quickly walked with Hyoyeon.
“So what happened while I was not here yet?” Leeteuk asked.
“Hyoyeon owned Mrs. Lee, dude. She made all of us speechless,” he smiled.
“What happened then?” Eunhyuk went on to tell him the story.
“You must be happy. Do you think she means it? I mean, you two are friends now,” Leeteuk reminded him.
“I think she means it. That means, we are going to be married in the future!” he put his arms behind his head and put up his feet on the table.
"Conceited," Leeteuk rolled his eyes.
