"Oppa! Please don't be mad" The blonde haired girl chuckled, chasing after Jihoo who had been squirted in the face with one of Soojung's toys. Jihoo ignored her though, heading straight towards the male toilets to wipe his face off with a paper towel. 

Soojung paused in front of the door, cursing her manager for being a boy.

"Oppa, I'm sorry" She called into the toilet with a laugh, "It was only a joke, I'm surprised even after three years you're still not used to-" 

"Ya Kim Soojung!" Jihoo screeched as he exited the toilet, interrupting her lame excuse of an apology. Soojung grinned at him, aegyo oozing out of her. 

"I'm sorry oppa" She offered, poking her manager's stomach lightly. He pushed her hand away, obviously still peeved but Soojung didn't back down. She shuffled closer, poking his damp chin. 

"Oppa~ I'm sorry, really really sorry" 

Jihoo huffed, his tough facade slowly cracking down bit by bit. 

"Oppa" 

"Ya, you know your aegyo isn't going to work on me now that you're debuting. You're not the youngest so it's going to be less effective" Jihoo scowled, nonchalantly walking towards the staircase that lead upstairs to Yang Hyun Suk's office. 

"What? My aegyo always works" Soojung smirked, shooting Jihoo a cute look which he brushed off quickly. She frowned, catching up to him, slightly annoyed that he didn't react. The short haired girl let her mind rewind, scanning over the words he uttered before she paused on a step, mouth agape. 

"What?!" Soojung exclaimed, successfully causing passing workers to jump at her outburst. Jihoo merely kept walking, laughing to himself. 

"Oppa did you just say what I think you said?" She asked, running up the stairs and clutching his arm excitedly. Jihoo nodded and shot her a look which had her quiet instantly. 

"I mean, that's cool. It's a good choice. I'm happy" Soojung commented, clearing and straightening her posture. Jihoo rolled his eyes and dragged her towards the conference room. 

"I know you're happy Soojungie" He chuckled, pausing just in front of the big wooden doors. "Which is why you have ten seconds to let it all out so you don't suddenly burst during the meeting" 

"I hardly think ten seconds would do it oppa.." 

"Fine, you get twenty seconds" Jihoo offered, rolling his eyes again.

Soojung flashed him a grin briefly before her face turned neutral and she took a deep intake of air through her nose, exhaling through mouth easily. Jihoo went to open his mouth to interject but Soojung held her hand out and let out a squeal to last the given time. When she finally finished, the blue haired boy shot her another look.

"You done?" 

Soojung nodded and Jihoo went to open the door before the girl grabbed his arm to stop him, letting out another muffled squeal before she finally calmed down at let him open the door. 

"Okay, I'm ready to be an idol"

After five long hours of going through the contract, Soojung and her members were dismissed from the conference room. Though it was quite a long time, she didn't really mind because she was finally given the chance to debut. Soojung went straight to her locker, unlocking it and taking her phone out of her bag. 

After dialing a number, she waited for her brother to answer the phone forced to listen to his lame ringing tone which happened to be Infinite'd Before the Dawn. When the music abruptly stopped, Soojung stood up from her position leaning against the lockers. 

"Oppa!" She shouted excitedly into the phone. A soft laugh was heard through the phone and Soojung couldn't help but smile at her brother. 

"Soojungie, I'm practicing right now. What is it?" He asked nicely, earning a frown from Soojung nevertheless. She hated coming second to her brother but she understood. 

"Oppa guess what? I'm debuting!" 

"What?! Seriously?" Myungsoo gasped, "Congrats Soojungie! I'm so happy for you. Make your brother proud and work hard okay? Oppa is always here for you. Don't panic, don't fret-" 

"Oppa~" Soojung interjected, rolling her eyes, "I know I know, it's fine. It's not like I'm debuting tomorrow" 

"Yes, but you're debuting nevertheless" Myungsoo replied, rolling his eyes as well. 

"Yeah yeah, anyways I'm going to call Gayoon unnie now" Myungsoo made a disapproving sound but Soojung merely replied with a laugh. 

"Bye oppa, buy me meat one day. I love you~" When she heard her older brother's protests from the other line, she hung up quickly and dialed her best friend's number. 

After almost five seconds of boring music, her ears wear greeted with her best friend's voice. 

"Unnie I'm debuting!" Soojung shouted once more with even more excitement. It was weird, despite already letting out her feelings earlier with Jihoo and then once more with Myungsoo she still could go on and on. 

"My little dongsaeng! I'm so proud of you Soojungie. We should celebrate. Shall we eat meat?" Gayoon offered with just as much cheerfulness and excitement. Soojung let out a laugh and nodded despite the older girl not being able to see her. 

"Unnie I'm so excited!" Soojung couldn't help but let her smile grow bigger. Gayoon chuckled at her dongsaeng's happiness, feeling intense joy fill her stomach. 

"I look forward to the day we share a stage little Soojungie" 

"Me too unnie, me too" Soojung sighed happily. Things were finally falling into place.
